Some good points mate, last one is key I think. An average list practiced and played well is going to perform much better than a net list played poorly.
Good point about that Turn 0 conversation in Magic The Gathering. It made for much better game nights knowing we were all playing evenly matched decks and on the same page with what we wanted out of the game.

Yes but. Im playing Custodes. The worst, not arguably, but litteraly, the worst army right now. How do I talk to ppl and have them not play their turnament lists against the worst army?
