- A classic arcade shooter, The House of the Dead "is one of my favorite childhood games. Every time I went to the arcade in a shopping mall, me and my brother played this game trying to beat it with a coin. At that time, it was difficult for me, especially when there had a bad calibration of the light gun in the game, or simply the arcade steal my coins.
Whatever, I decided to play it again to remember that mix of action and horror that I felt for that game.

THIS (and Carnevil) was the go-to game in the arcade at my mall before they mindlessly closed it down. Like, I KNOW home game consoles killed small town arcades, but it still feels like an arcade is necessary in ANY mall anywhere. I'll die on that hill.

It is a "glitch" that they did it on "purpose" since that same bug remains in the 2022 game. For me it is funny.

You may be able to avoid those enemies if you have cat reflexes xD. Unfortunately I'm an ordinary human.
It depends on your accuracy, reflexes and persistence. If you don't give up and play this game constantly, in the end you will learn to avoid any kind of damage.

Today you can find it on Google. You need: The Sega model 2 emulator, and the hose of the dead (THOTD) game rom. On UA-cam you can also find tutorials on how to correctly emulate the rom.
