I met Tom Petty when I was a kid. My dad told me to go say hi to him when he recognized him at a gas station, and that he was the guy who sung this song. I told him I liked his singing. Wow it’s already been 2 years😭
Remember how there was a report he died, they said"wait,no hes alive",then ,"oh....he is dead!"
he was the best my dad even meet him he said tom was the best ever
Oh, Rock & Roll, so raw, freewheeling and laid back. It can make swing a man in a wheelchair or a full stadium into an unstoppable contagious beat, in this case with likable Tom Petty and his band. You'll be missed Tom.
"Runnin' down a dream... that never would come to me." So powerful, so relatable, no matter how long it takes you, you will get there if you keep pushing.
He found his dream. Now he is gone. I will miss him terribly.
Why would anyone thumbs down this video?
maybe they didn't have a cool ass dream like this song has?
maybe because they didnt enjoy the song? not everyone has the same preference
Sargon- Catch up with the rest of us. We are talking about the video itself, not the song.
Maybe because they failed to run down a dream unlike the rest of us
The Guitar Solo is STILL one of the most defining for me. One my top 3 Roadtrip songs...It's definitely on loop for 2 or 3 times. My Hats's off to your memory Mr. Petty!
These guys were very creative in thier time. Enjoy all the animation. How many of you like myself are running down a dream?
Muy bueno

Mike Campbell is incredible on this song. The solo starting at the 3:12 is so good !!
My son was about 5 & loved to air drum to this song. Once sitting in a parking lot waiting for his “performance” to end, I looked up & people were gathered watching him 😂 He had no idea. When the song ended they clapped…I thought he’d be embarrassed but no…he just grinned & waved ❤
Hello Robyn, how are you doing today, hope you've a good day 👋😊
Tom Petty & The Heartbeakers. You can’t talk about the best of 70’s & 80’s music without mentioning them. 👊🏽

Sparc Mac Nice. Gotta research that The area geographically. For me in the heart of Alberta it would be listening to toms album your gonna get it driving into banff on the west side of the Rocky Mountains. In winter or fall
You mean on gielinor right?
One of the best guitar solos I've ever heard.
Best acoustic 12-string backing guitar in a long time. Great riff by Mr. Campbell.

A musical genuis. So grateful for the music he made before we lost him.
Now it’s in the GTA 6 trailer with one of his more underrated songs.
Bem isso kkkksksk, achei ela pelo GTA Sa
R.I.P. Tom Petty (1950-2017).
