I lived in China as a missionary English teacher. I worked in the state-run system. All of the teachers were heavily indoctrinated by communism and thought the Bible was a silly Western fable. Then I started showing them the ancient history of the Bible in their characters. I have never seen such a look of disconcerted fear as when people began to see their own language had betrayed them. Within Chinese mind there is a skeleton key to unlock all the mysteries. And genuine Chinese believers in Christ are par excellence. Calm and courageous, joyful and living in the shadow of death, their faith is pure, surrounded by spies they proclaim the gospel, beset by government parameters they find a way. I wish for my American brethren such a faith.

Thank you for your video on "The Gospel Message in Chinese Characters". I was a watching a video from "Answers in Genesis" where the speaker casually mentioned about a "newly Christian", Chinese woman about finally understanding the Chinese Characters for "ship" being made up of "a vessel and eight people" (sound familiar?). I'm trying to find those characters, and now I'm curious about more ancient Chinese writings and characters. I noted one of the other comments by someone who had adopted from China. My wife and I have gone to China twice to adopt first and girl, and then a boy. I have now subscribed to your channel, and I hope that you may have more on ancient Chinese Characters that parallel the Biblical accounts. It's a shame that the Chinese government has instituted a new writing system (simplified), or in some cases, use Western, phonetic writing (like the Japanese do). I don't know if this was done to eradicate the use of the older characters because of it being contrary to their "world view", or for some other reason. GOD bless you for your work!

I know there is like 600 plus but could you do a short video for each letter and explain the words letters that make it up and show how to say it in chinese as compared to english.
Chinese doesn't have an alphabet, it has written characters, and there are about 50,000 of them. In order to read a newspaper, you should learn a minimum of 4,000. And as there are dozens of languages in China, you'd have to decide if you want to speak Mandarin or Cantonese. Mandarin is much easier, in my view. If you're serious about this, I strongly advise that you find a Chinese speaker and have one on one lessons with him/her, as no book can teach you how the tones sound, and Mandarin had 4 of them. The grammar isn't difficult, so in a fortnight, you should be able to speak simple sentences.

The four venerable ones you say were not in Xinjiang either, they were in Shanxi‘s Guye mountain. The person who went there to visit them was Emperor Yao. Yao's era was about 2000 years ago, before Confucius. The story that Yao visits the four venerable ones was recorded by Zhuangzi, not Confucius.

However, a big difference between Christianity and all religions is that Jesus actually lived, died, and rose from the dead. I lived in China as a missionary English teacher. I worked in the state-run system. All of the teachers were heavily indoctrinated by communism and thought the Bible was a silly Western fable. Then I started showing them the ancient history of the Bible in their characters. I have never seen such a look of disconcerted fear as when people began to see their own language had betrayed them. Within Chinese mind there is a skeleton key to unlock all the mysteries. And genuine Chinese believers in Christ are par excellence. Calm and courageous, joyful and living in the shadow of death, their faith is pure, surrounded by spies they proclaim the gospel, beset by government parameters they find a way. I wish for my American brethren such a faith.

I was a watching a video from "Answers in Genesis" where the speaker casually mentioned about a "newly Christian", Chinese woman about finally understanding the Chinese Characters for "ship" being made up of "a vessel and eight people" (sound familiar?). I'm trying to find those characters, and now I'm curious about more ancient Chinese writings and characters. I noted one of the other comments by someone who had adopted from China. My wife and I have gone to China twice to adopt first and girl, and then a boy. I have now subscribed to your channel, and I hope that you may have more on ancient Chinese Characters that parallel the Biblical accounts.
It's a shame that the Chinese government has instituted a new writing system (simplified), or in some cases, use Western, phonetic writing (like the Japanese do). I don't know if this was done to eradicate the use of the older characters because of it being contrary to their "world view", or for some other reason. GOD bless you for your work!

Can you do a video on all of the chinese alphabet letters please! Explain each one and its meaning in a new short video to help people learn . That would be very interesting! I know there is like 600 plus but could you do a short video for each letter and explain the words letters that make it up and show how to say it in chinese as compared to english.
Chinese doesn't have an alphabet, it has written characters, and there are about 50,000 of them. In order to read a newspaper, you should learn a minimum of 4,000.
And as there are dozens of languages in China, you'd have to decide if you want to speak Mandarin or Cantonese. Mandarin is much easier, in my view.
If you're serious about this, I strongly advise that you find a Chinese speaker and have one on one lessons with him/her, as no book can teach you how the tones sound, and Mandarin had 4 of them. The grammar isn't difficult, so in a fortnight, you should be able to speak simple sentences.

However, a big difference between Christianity and all religions is that Jesus actually lived, died, and rose from the dead. Christianity has something unique, a God who came down to us because he knew we werent good enough to reach him. He even loved us so much to shed his own blood and sacrifice himself on our behalf.
So yes, there are similarities between many of those stories, but when you get into the fine details you will see where the big differences lie.
Plus, Christianity, being the only one that isnt a religion but a relationship and a following of Christ, should be the easiest to debunk since. . . the whole belief lies on the teachings of a man who actually lived, and predicted his own death and resurection, so you have something you can test to be true, and the Bible even calls for us to test all things, it isnt afraid to be genuinely tested.
