What I love about japanese cities is that there are practically no cars parked on the street, occasionally a taxi picking up a passenger or a delivery truck. Besides every lane is perfectly marked all the way. I drive buses in Buenos Aires and, compared to Japan, it's like driving in a Mad Max movie... terrible environment to drive anything, no one has a scratch of patience. Japan has it's flaws, but I really appreciate how well organized the roads are.
Come to Paris,it's the jungle.... Buses have to squeeze between deliveries, parking lots on the road, bikes and other electric scooters that think they are all allowed. It's a miracle there aren't more accidents. And I'm not talking about certain lines which pass through very small streets (and the buses are bigger than the one in the video)....Some are even benderbuses (articulated buses like the Kesei Bus)...The most known are the "Louvre ticket offices", where the buses pass through the Louvre building via arcades where the space is just enough for the mirrors (we are on the order of - 10 cm)

私も１年半ほど前に、全線乗車しました。
道路改良が進んで、２車線になっている区間でも、そこから元の狭い旧道に入り、
集落にあるバス停へ向かい、また２車線道路に合流、という繰り返しで進んで行きます。
（旧道が行き止まりで、Ｕターン専用のスペースもありました）
不思議に思って、休憩地で運転手さんに聞くと、「バス停はなかなか動かせない」と。
なるほど、と思って、運転手さんの技量に高さに、より尊敬の気持ちが強くなりました。
日本語のみでの案内だが、この路線は運転手が沿線の観光名所を車内放送で教えてくれるのも素晴らしいポイント

実はこの次に一つ、新宮駅から大和八木駅へ向かう２便目＆平日の３便目だけが止まるバス停が脇道にある
西吉野農業高校バス停といって、山麓にある学生寮や五条駅へ向かう路線に混じってバスが立ち寄る
ただし麓へ向かう路線はあっても農業高校へ向かう路線はほとんどなく、平日朝に１便だけ運行される系統が止まるだけである
その便に乗れたら楽だが、遅刻した学生は２時間以上バスを待ったあげく、神野バス停から更に30分近く登り坂を進むことになる
授業の開始時刻に遅れた罰としては十分だろうな
こういった路線バスが赤字などによって消えないことを望む。
このバスは沿線自治体からの支援も受けて運行されているので余程のことがない限り廃止されることはないと思います
完全に赤字路線ですが補助金が出てるので何とか運行出来てるのです
奈良交通は何度も廃止を周辺自治体に打診してますのでいづれなくなる可能性は高いです
沿線市町村の支援で、20年ぐらい不変だったバスも新車へ置き換えた路線ですからね。
ただ、これとは別に五條病院向けに広域通院ラインというものが別にあって、それだと途中の十津川までなのでそれと同じように短縮の可能性はあります。
