I think some of you are missing the point of this demo. The guy specifically says "...which is exactly what I want for the kind of music I'm working on". He then does a great demonstration of how the plug makes noticeable sonic changes in real time. Whether or not you like the material is irrelevant. Hell, he may not even like it himself. The fact is it works great for the demo and could probably show up on any European car commercial. Or mobile device ad. Or just about anything considered hip and cool these days. I'd never write a track like this (mostly because I wouldn't know where to start) but after watching this demo I immediately went to the Command Center and downloaded it so I could apply what I just learned to a track I did write. Nice job Calkwalk dude.
I'm an absolute n00b at mastering, this software looks very approachable for someone like me. I do look forward to tutorials on using these plugins for mastering in SONAR.
Hoping to get an answer here: In a project in Cakewalk I route all audio outs to a stereo bus, there I insert LP MB, from there the Bus is routed to the master bus. All I hear upon clicking "play" is a deafening double click, the volume is displayed in LP MB as maximum, it stays there, although I don't hear anything, and all the volume displays in the Cakewalk consoles show zero activity. What am I doing wrong, please?
