- So since mentioning Warduke and his origins in my many Vlogs on Witchlight I have received a lot of Heat as to who he is and where he came from.
SO let's clarify shall we and dive deep into the mystery that is WARDUKE!
"Warduke"
#Warduke #Questforthehearthstone #Witchlight #NSFW
Please HASBRO make a new WARDUK action figure as part of the "Lightning"/Legacy collection line - Ігри
Warduke was in the cartoon. Dungeons & Dragons - 05 - In Search of the Dungeon Master, October 15, 1983.
The OG GM's Adventures.

the Stuff I read and there were 2 never mentioned the show so either they don't want to acknowledge the show because of copyright or it's a different warduke. The stuff I found said LJM figure, module, sourcebook, magazine-5e.
The module takes place in GREYHAWK so Warduke and Co were not part of post-2014 Cannon 5e until this week.
So Im still more corcet then J S and I actually talk about the helmet being correct..so BAM, go in the kitchen and make me a sandwich
Warduke, Kellek, and Stronhewrt all appeared in various episodes of the Dungeons & Dragons Animated Series.
Kellek was in ep.4 “Valley of the Unicorns.
Warduke was in ep.5 “In Sewrch of the Dungeon Master”.
Strongheard was in ep.8.
i corect my mistake in the diablo videio, thanks for making me smarter
@@TheOGGMsAdventures search for the dungeon master was actually the pilot, but shown as episode 5. A similar thing happend with MOTU, as the pilot for that was diamond ray of dissappearance, but was transmitted as a later episode
@@dregoth22 warduke goes where ever he wants to and shows up whenever
Warduke was, absolutely, in the 80’s D&D cartoon.
yes i am aware of that, thank you I did corcet my mistake but thanks for subscribing
Decent video, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Appernintly i made a ton of mistakes
Mercia was a region in Britain once upon a time. People from there were "Mercian". It's possible that Mercion was named after that region, as opposed to the name "Mercy".
maybe
Just purchased a Warduke action figure
The new one or were you lucky enough to find the old one? The Lightning Collection Warduke they made last year(?) looked amazing
I'm almost surprised that the legendary NPCs brought into the WbtW book were so low of CR. But this means they won't be Duex Ex Machina allies or unusable bad guys for the average PCs.
they are sort of pathetic but I think that's the point?
Chad Ploof commented: "just heads up, Warduke makes an appearance in the module the shady dragon inn in 1983"
I thought I mentioned the modual?
Episode 5 I think of the 80's cartoon he does has a part. I think it's was call (in search of the dungeon master) he captures dungeon master
yes i have been informed, thank you
thanks for pointing out my mkistakes kids, i talk about this during todays diablo lets play
so much drinking / eating! Whatever it is its lip smacking good!
I don't remember, probably soda
Ummm, WARDUKE, STRONGHEART, and KELEK most certainly appeared on the 1980’s D&D animated cartoon 😒🤨😒🤨🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
thanks man, I have been corceted.
are you eating a peanut butter sandwich while youre talking? theres something going on, and its grossing me out. also Warduke was deffo in the cartoon
Probably
was I eating PB&J. I do not remeber
Sorry OG, the Known World is the explicit alternate name for the Mystara setting from Basic. Warduke and co. aren't Realms or Greyhawk- they're Mystaran.
Not that any of it matters anyway, since they scrubbed canon. The rabbit hole goes down and down...
@@Gitjadas noting before 2014 matters or ever happened so I can make up whatever backstory I want since they did not exist till this weekend.
Warduke, oh yeah he's been around since 2014 he was just...over there in...er....Zental keep..Yesh that's it
Warduke was in the cartoon. In fact it aired in Oct.15 1983 episode 5 he captured Dungeon Master in a crystal caused by his sword. I am not trying to insult you but the module he also shown in originally shady dragon inn. I would say as a fellow dm of 30 plus years if I was going to do a UA-cam video on a char i would do more research. Also when I person corrects you please show respect as they were not rude iin the manner on how they said it hence how you responded towards Wind Knot. Make me a sandwich was a bit uncalled for at the end. If I offended you with my comment to you then I will say sorry but also from what I read in the comments that was posted towards some people who tried to help you in the error I was kinda taken back a bit. Also the cartoon that shown Warduke was what really got me into wanting to play the game at age 10. I thought the char was way too cool and I wanted the toy of him myself.
Now you shown many of your of your research but you only went with what you read. And to clarify on why he was a Greyhawk campaign character in the basic rules there was only one world at that time then the worlds started to pop up in advance more so. Also how he got to the FG setting is due to 5E being based in FG which is the most popular realm in today D&D settings. So with that being said the company that has his rights can change his whole story line and say what they wish. I do apologize for my rudeness if I am coming as such and I do not wish to come off in that manner,
Oh Necca made a seven inch figure of Warduke in September of 21 with a grimblade I think the char is called. I know it is Grim something none the less.
yes thanks, i appreciate the cortcetion
@@TheOGGMsAdventures My pleasure I did not want to sound rude by any means as well.
@@damonbowman5335 not at all, as for the sandwich comment-well that's just my humor
i apriciate the info
Definitely appeared in the animated series, you did not even basic research? FAIL
yes and had you bothered to keep reading the comments you would have seen that I have apologized for my mistake a few dozen times including making video the very next day on the subject ? Fail?
You are killing me. Your videos are getting better and better.🤬🤬🤬🤬
Point of fact, WOTC made everything before 5e non canon, so they can throw characters from any world before 5e anywhere they want to without explanation.🙄
THANKS ?
Yeah I know the whole Cannon/no cannon thing is dumb but also smart. It never happend before 2014 so they don't have to explain how Warduke is in witchlight-he has always been there.
Does the Realms even exist any more? It does not feel like it with terms like "System Agnostic" now being tossed out by them?
@@TheOGGMsAdventures I’m personally sick of everything being on the Sword Coast. There’s a whole continent out there. Why don’t they expand references to that?
@@paulcooper6048 I don't know. The last Realms centric adventure was the disappointing Frost Maiden which was in Neverwinter wich is on the cost of the sword. Witchlight is System agnostic and mostly in another Dimeniosn/plane? Strixheaven is another plane and Fizbens is a monster book so again system agnostic?
As a red Wizards of Thay fan boy I agree, lets see more of the world

Come on now, please do more research than J Scott Garibay would next time. Warduke appeared in the cartoon first. Item Code: #9114 (XL1) Title: Quest for the Heartstone Type: Adventure Author: Michael L. Gray Published: 1984 Episode 5: "In Search of the Dungeon Master" Original air date: October 15, 1983 Dungeon Master is captured by Warduke and frozen in a magic crystal. When the kids discover this terrible truth, they try to rescue him before Venger gets there first.

@@TheOGGMsAdventures well you need to get another source...
"An Advanced Dungeons & Dragons toy line was produced by LJN in 1983, including original characters such as Warduke, Strongheart the Paladin, and the evil Wizard Kelek, who would later appear in campaigns for the Basic edition of the roleplaying game. None of the main characters from the TV series were included in the toy line, but a connection does exist, as Warduke, Strongheart and Kelek each appeared in one episode of the series."
People that have the cartoon series can screen shot each of the characters and prove it.
