You won't believe what the airline did to this tuba - Making a patch!

We're thrilled to bring you all another repair video at J. Landress Brass! We wanted to show you all some insight into how we handle teamwork, patches, and other dent work in our shop-As for the story on the cause of damage this tuba was battered in the cargo area of the plane during the flight. The resulting damage consisted of a dented and twisted branch, various degrees of cracks in select areas of the #horn, and overall additional dents to the instrument. In the video particular you’ll see us remove, round, and de-dent the branch, as well as the overall process for making the patch for the previously mentioned cracks!
