Yes, that is normal, if you look on the tracks below, as you paste the circles, your playhead moves forward and therefore it gets OUT of the range of the previous circles. What you need to do is EXTEND the circles in the bottom tracks so that their ENDS end up in the same place, and if you have a longer letter, keep extending them and 'bringing them with you' until you get to the end. That's how they all stay visible.
I'm afraid track matte was introduced only in Camtasia 2020, so unless you decide to upgrade, you can't achieve this effect in 2019. Maybe try the typewriter effect, I think that works, it's described here: ua-cam.com/video/ZEvoLFYCzpw/v-deo.html
Hey @Ale Xander, unfortunately Camtasia doesn't yet include the function to animate objects along a path. But you can use a workaround by animating the objects and adding the keyframes yourself, like shown in this video: www.screencast.com/t/OkfMnCozKr
Yeah, maybe. They have a long list of requests. You can probably submit this in the feature requests section on the support forums: support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us
@@Graphicious it's a shame a software that costs 250 euros doesn't have advanced features. After effects and premiere pro are great but too heavy and are hard to use. Camtasia would be a great software with some cool features that Adobe has.

@@Graphicious After the fourth “cut and paste” of the circles onto the letter G I noticed the previously placed circles would disappear.

I have Camtasia 2021. Can I do this on Camtasia 2021?
Of course! It is even easier in 2021 because you can use the media matte effect, not make an entire track matte
Please, can you make a tutorial on how to draw paths animations in Camtasia?
