    I don't see how only 2 small peltier modules whith such a small radiating surfaces can cool down so big volume.
    Inside the fridge there is no air recirculating system and also the hot side has small area/ventilation.

    Everyone is saying about the cost. But there are two types of DIY enthusiasts. 1, only do DIY to save money, 2, do DIY to save money when needed, and to have custom projects at the house or workshop! I love this video, where can I can a parts list at?

    An ancient Mayan tablet (BC 5500) says: You can build everything DIY, except a refrigerator. Peltiers are NO WAY efficient for this project. Buy even the cheapest mini fridge online but do not build anything containing a peltier module...
    It was a very long and interesting tablet 😂

      If you really think about it, everything made by man was at some point a form of DIY, even if they’re now professionally made in factories

      Neat thing with this method, is you can make something completely custom, and fit it into a space, or theme it

    I love the build, but it's not practical, except maybe on camping where you've got 12V only, because Pelletiers are highly inneficient. They generate a lot of heat and the back is enclosed and I doubt the PC fan can efficiently extract that much heat through those tiny holes you drilled.
    You should give us some feedback as to how it cools, how much the rear space heats, what you think in general after having used it for a while.

      Öltür Elements achieve Temperaturen of 20 degrees Celsius below the Environment temperature MAXIMUM. ☹️☹️☹️ Much ADO about as much as nothing. Utter waste of time, effort, energy and material. 😱😱😱

    Design & color ease of fabrication 5⭐️. I am just not in the favour of peltier modules which I have tried. High amperage and low efficiency and it’s not that cold. Anyway your video is awesome ❤

    It uses a shitload of power! Thermoelectric should only be used for microfridges!

    How quiet / noisy is it, with so many fans in it? If its for a desktop, anything other than whisper quiet gets old fast

    • @aarepelaa1142
      @aarepelaa1142 7 місяців тому

      You can use thermoelectric coolers if you don't want noise, although they're a lot less energy efficient.

    Creativity is good!, but according to the size of your mini fridge you should've use 4 Peltier modules for more efficient cooling.

    • @nielsdaemen

      It's not effiecient anyway. A vapor compression system will always win!
