Dan is such a great guy to deal with! You can ask him anything about your datalogs and he will answer, like curiosity of engine load being sensed with MAF based tunes vs speed density. Made data logging more simple as well and put my mind at ease.
I personally prefer a e-tunes because of the ease of reaching out to the tuner. specially when you make your relationship not only just a business relationship but making friends. and ive found that e-tunes can out perform dyno tunes
@GarrettMedia it potentially can out perform dyno tunes because you're grthinh realistic conditions but it also depends solely on the tuner and how well experienced he or she is
Cool video man. My TL is pushing close to 400,000 miles now, and I never had my fuel pump replaced. I'm quite sure if I buy a new high performance one, it will be a little faster with acceleration.
What you’ve done with the TL is incredible. I enjoy watching your videos and appreciate you sharing your steps and journey. I do want to ask you, which J37 motor did you go with? Year and model if you don’t mind. I am going to do a manual conversion with the comptech super charger. I’ve been debating doing a 3.7 swap. Your all motor will make more than my 3.5 with the supercharger lol. I will get the same fuel pump and injectors. I am running Hondata’s flash pro. Idk if there’s a fuel/sensor for e85/93. K pro might be the only way to do it in the 3rd gen TL. I am not sure yet though.
I have ktuner but I’m on factory tune and I’m full bolt on j35 and my knock control parameter goes as low as .20 and high as .80 do you think I need a new fuel pump
@@trents2781 I’m not too sure. I would recommend buying E-Tunez diagnostic package I think it’s like $30. They will diagnose your issue for you and if you decide to get it tuned the $30 will be waived
Make sure you use GARRET10 for 10% off on orders $99 and up. I get no commission from it but just want to put e-Tunez on the map 💪 for all the Honda|Acura enthusiasts
My tuner was suggesting Hondata at one point due to the higher record rate (hz) during data logging. But tuner works fine for now. Probably will go hondata if I go boost

Absolutely and well knowledgeable!
I’m glad you prime the fuel pump because so I can startup normal!! I did that all the time when I changed my fuel pump for my 05 Acura TL!!
Nice 😊

@@Boosted_Killin that’s a fact! That’s great to know that it can outperform Dyno tunes 🔥

@@Boosted_Killin I’ve heard that street tunes are the best due to like you said realistic conditions 👍.
“I’m not going to try and say the name “.. dooo etch works
Etunez is the best
E-tunez is awesome!

Definitely a big help in the fuel system. Also look into cleaning your injectors too
