Another killer video! Again, 'way cool to see Great Abaco from the air. At FL0 the vis is somewhat limited, particularly after a Bahama Mama or two... The "Disney island" is really Great Stirrup Cay, but who's counting? The beach by The Crab Pot is rated as one of the top beaches anywhere. That sand is like walking through flour, eh. Too bad nobody told you about the "sand dollar reef". At low tide you can walk way out on the bar and hunt for sand dollars. V. cool. On our only (commercial) flight to Treasure Cay (rest on our boat), we stayed at the other end of the row of units you were in. Had I known, I'd have left you a note. ;)
A really great flight hope you have a great time in the Bahamas, l do like your small plane it looks really good, mind and keep it good condition and it will give you many hours of pleasure. Ps thanks to the person who made this trimendous video I've really enjoyed it.
Ya muhn!!! Where is the uber love button!!! thanks for letting us go on vacation with you guys. The skies and surf. Beautiful. Appreciate all you do. Thanks again the music with steel drums. Puts ya right there. Need a good cigar and cold Corona!!
This was the most spectacular scenery so far on your trip. Easy to see why you wanted to fly your own plane to the Bahama's. Thanks for taking us with you. Fly safe.
Another great video. If you ever find yourself in the northeast I think you would really enjoy flying along the coast of Connecticut above the Long Island Sound between Ct and Long Island. Heading east from the New York metro area you'll pass over Fishers Island with its own airport, then Block Island, a great summer vacation spot, then its just a short hop to Martha's Vineyard and then Nantucket. Head north from Nantucket to Cape Cod and follow the shoreline to the end of the cape touching down at the little airport in Provincetown. You could also check out Montauk at the tip of the south fork of Long Island just a few minutes flying time from Block Island. Best time is the summer great beaches everywhere you land. Looking forward to the rest of the Bahama videos. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed this one as well Greg! Thank you for the suggestion on the north east. I followed it along a map and it looks like a solid plan. We hope to make it up that way before too long. I've never been before. :)
Love your videos. I'm 82 years old and had to give up flying my 172 a few years ago. I flew out of Clow and Lewis University for 15 years but did many trips into Aurora just to keep up my control tower skills; always remember "report Sugar Grove." I was commercial and IFR rated but mainly flew VFR for fun. Keep the videos coming I feel like I'm in the backseat.
Thank you Joe...glad you're enjoying the channel! We just flew into Clow the other day for the first time. Had a brunch at the diner there. It was a nice little airport. Glad to have your ride along with us since you hung up your headset. :)
You are a very lucky couple to be able to travel so much. I enjoy your videos, I feel like I'm flying with you. I am also not ashamed to say that I am a little jealous too!
Great video of the Bahamas! Thanks for sharing the aerial views. We cruise there on our sailboat and really enjoy it. The Cays prounounced Keys are amazing.
What a great series of videos! Thanks for taking us all along on your island hopping adventures. I grew up in Orlando area flying w my grandfather who was retired Air Force. Spent a lot of time in the islands as a kid. Mostly in a 401B or a Cheyenne. Didn’t know how good I had it back then! lol. It’s great to see Walkers Cay coming back to life as well. That, Normans Cay, and Marsh were my favorites. Never missed an opportunity to go on one of those trips. Hope u get to go back soon and take us along.
Hi guys. I really enjoy your videos. I used to fly DC-8's and L-1011's around the Caribbean with Air Canada. Retired and living in Tampa Bay now. Great memories of flying in Paradise after flying in the crud around Canada. If I remember right, Nassau's 11,000 foot strip is due to the fact that it was a designated Space Shuttle emergency landing strip. Keep up the great work!
I was a full time aircraft electrician with the 102nd fighter wing at Otis Air National Guard Base (KFMH) for 31 years. Our two runways were 8,000 and 9,500 and we were an emergency landing strip for the Space Shuttle also. Now a retired Msgt. and shop chief, I really miss turning the wrenches on the planes, especially the F-106 and the F-15. I can still smell the odor of Jet exhaust. Love watching these videos.
Awesome video as usual, we love the Bahama's. My cousin and his hanger partner both have houses on Crooked Island, wish I could afford one myself. Two of my favorite things flying and the beach.
I thinks it awesome that y'all took time from the kids and made time for each other! that's waht you need to do from time to time. It looks like you are having a great time. The videos are awesome!!!
Oh you two.... STOP IT..!! Super tans, beautiful turbulence free flying, clear blue sea.. Jeepers... Now you;re just showing off.. lol lol lol.... But just wonderful to see and again.. thanks for taking me along. Just GREAT. Thanks again for sharing. - Kimi
Unfortunately Kimi, we'll be stopping it very soon. The next leg will be back to FL and then our way back home. Can't wait to get back down there again! In this case, was happy to show off. :)
Kev and Jaimie - it has been a fantastic trip for us - well for me at least. I certainly miss the C310 and your vlogs that bring back many happy C310 times for me. Familiar sounds like the wobble pumps in the mains, the klok klok as the gear comes up and the flap motor running on finals with one eye on the Blue Line. :)
It is so fun to watch all of these...I feel like I am back seating with y'all. I love watching all phases of flight, your radio work and instrument usage. This is about as close as I can get to the days when I could afford to fly. You both are amazing! Keep it up!
Great ride, we go to Treasure Kay about 6 times a year, we love it there. Stayed at the same place that you stayed, swim in the same pool, same beach, etc. so very sad that it’s all blown away. Love your vids, thank you. Nick piscitelli
Beautiful part of the world! On my bucket list. Guess I better hurry up since will be 70 in 3 months ... I enjoy the videos, very well done/ Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful video. The Bahamian Islands and sea really are stunningly beautiful from the air. You all inspired me to bicycle tour from Rock Sound to Governors Harbour in Eleuthera, Bahamas. I had a great time even though I was cruising at 8mph on a bicycle. Keep up the great videos!
What an incredible series of videos! It is so enjoyable to see a couple so in love and in tune with each other and professional at doing what you love!
Another great video guys! The sound of the engines coming up to power on takeoff is awesome. Pure, raw horsepower. Doing max power run ups on C-130's was always a treat for me. Thanks for taking the time out your busy schedules to produce these videos. Greatly appreciated!
Another nice one, I live in Chicago too, it was 22 degrees outside while I watched this. That airplane truly is a magic carpet. Good to see you use it like it was intended.
Nothing like a home made brekky followed by a leisurely flight to the next holiday spot. This resort looks a bit more flashy than the last, with great water views. Thanks mate
Pretty cool to see castaway cay from the air. We just returned from a Disney cruise and went there and Nassau. I think it would be so fun to fly to the Bahamas someday in a small plane though.
While I haven't been on the cruises there, Jaime has. It was really neat to see that from the air. :) If you ever get the chance to explore the Bahamas in a small plane, you should jump on it!
19:00 That is indeed Disney's private island, Castaway Key. We did a Disney cruise about a year ago and we stopped there. Fun cruise overall. Nice video.
Thank you for transporting me from stormy Scotland to what can only be described as paradise on earth, such a beautiful part of the world :) I don't want this series to end, I'm not in the least bit jealous ;) another awesome video, thanks Kevin and Jaime for cheering me up on a wet and very windy Friday night!
You're welcome Rab! Can't wait till we can visit your homeland. Unfortunately like all good things, this is coming to an end as well. The next video will be our flight back to FL and then subsequent ones back home. :(
You guys are killing me!?!? Did you see my bucket list :-). Jamie, yes cruising is great (we’ve done many from Cape Canaveral) great food n fun activities but nothing beats the view cloud surfing in the Bahamas n walking a empty beach. Thanks again, great vid.
That seems to be a great time of year to go down there! Once again, really enjoyed being along on the journey. My favorite part of this episode was the 13:33 mark!
Kevin & Jamie, another fantastic video of your adventure to the Bahama's. Spectacular scenery, perfect choice of background music, and the beaches are to die for. As a Private Pilot with only 400 hours, I can tell you that I love flying, but it is second for me to diving with over 4000 logged dives. Next time you plan your trip, be sure and get certified first. Trust me, the true beauty is under the surface of the water and certification is really inexpensive. You will thank me later...... Thanks again for sharing with us.
Love the shop of Castaway Cay! We were there back in Magic's first year afloat when it first opened (maybe 98 or 99). That was a Disney ship at the dock, but they have more than one now... Also, that runway doubles as the boardwalk from the main area where the ship is down to the other end where the adult only beach is. When there is no ship in port, it is the runway for it's staff and supplies... Very cool! Love the videos.
Pretty sure I talked to Jamie today climbing out of MDW around noon heading westbound. Great videos! I live in Stuart FL so this is instructional for when I finally get something fun to fly. Thanks for the content.
310 Pilot just a 737, nothing exciting. I actually found you two because that breakfast at C77 you went to was at my dad’s house. The crazy old guy parking planes....
Oh my ... this is the best vacation I have been on in years. Thanks for letting me hang with you 2. Keep them coming K&J and great work with the video.
Stayed at this resort back in 2014. Treasure cay is awesome. I think this place got destroyed by the hurricane. Thanks for this video, as it brought back great memories for my wife and I.
Awesome video! I grew up in Treasure Cay and my dad had an Aztec based at Treasure Cay airport. We have since moved on and now live in Canada but its awesome to see the old stomping grounds. Your videos are amazing and you and Jamie seem like awesome people. For your next trip down there, just remember that "Cay" is almost always pronounced "Key" when in the Bahamas! Im sure you heard it on the radios but just thought I'd let you know! Keep it up and can't wait to see the new paint job!
I did a night snorkeling dive swimming with manta rays in Hawaii, I think they do it in the Bahamas’s also. One of my most incredible experiences (and I have video!). I could so see you guys doing that!
Thanks for the memories, I worked at Small Hope Bay Lodge Andros island in the early 70's. Andros Town/ Fresh Creek is a great area to visit if you get a chance.
Perfect time for a 310 Pilot Video ! Sitting here on my lanai, along the waterfront at my SW Florida home. Nice easy breeze... Temp 81 and brilliant sunshine ! Your Carribean Music was the icing on the cake ! Oh wait.... didn't mean to tease there Kevin, I forgot that you still live in the Land of Snow and Cold :) :) :)
I remember watching this video when it was posted. It made me want to visit for a weekend trip, I live in Orlando. I just watched a recon video of Treasure Cay posted on September 5th and I shed a tear. It’s appears every place you two visited on Treasure Cay is no longer there.
I'm so glad that we were able to visit Treasure and fly over Marsh...very sad for what happened to that island and the people there. It's going to be a long slow recovery for them.
Awesome VID Jamie & Kevin when I look out here in the Cleveland area and all I see is ground covered with white snow! I really enjoyed the island scenery and especially the air shot of Castaway Cay Island. To see the beach where I have visited for a day was fabulous! The white soft sand was wonderful! I had a previous visit to this island with the Disney Cruise folks with our family, it was really enjoyable especially the daycare they had on board to allow some evening celebration time! :-)
You get wobbly sea legs if you stay too high up on decks of a cruise ship. Stay down low and you'll be okay. I personally like stepping on land, having a cocktail, and feeling my legs tell me we're rocking in the sea. Haha, good times. Another nice video. Loving the Bahamas trip. We have been to Nassau once, commercial flight of course. It is beautiful. Got to play on the water slides at Atlantis Resort. Lines weren't too bad, beaches to lounge at and a lazy river to float on. We did it all. Just the "tip" of the island? Did not see that from the air. Lol Your approach to landing was beautiful, the landing was okay...Haha Just kidding...well done.
Thanks for the heads up on the cruise ship...I'll keep that in mind! I'm starting to open up to the idea...primarily because I know I'm going to have to take her on some. :) I could use a lounge on a lazy river. :)
AWESOME!!!! I just watched and saw Nassau from the air! Absolutely beautiful !!! Watched on my new 4K tv can't wait to see it in person !!! Thanks for sharing!!!!❤️🇺🇸😎✌🏻☀️
As much as I really enjoy the flights you have to listen to your wife and try a cruise sometime. We have been on 4 and they are very relaxing and everything you want you will have. But you guys have me looking into an Island hopping vacation? What a wonderful looking place. Enjoy your time away and have a safe flight.
That is Castaway Cay which is Disney Cruise Lines private island. Carnival does not use their facility. Absolutely loving this series. Keep the videos coming.
Did couple of years ago a Disney cruise to Castaway Cay ("key"), was amazing to see on this video the island from above; the cruise ship was just there, the sandy beach, they have a secluded (from sharks) inner bay for catamaran jet ski renting, string Ray feeding, snorkeling etc.... BTW, on a different note, even if Jamie doesn't like "water parks", Atlantis is a must to visit, it's more than just a "water park" and not always that busy... Worth to visit at least once. Anyway, thanks for this nice flight and Bahamas video.
Damn, yep you all did it again, another great video......this one is great as you popped up to 5500 ft so you can see how the ocean currents carved out the ocean bottom, way cool. I agree with you, re fly vs cruise ships. The resort at Treasure Cay is absolutely beautiful, not quite as private as the other but really nice, glad you showed the rooms as gives people the idea of their hospitality/cleanliness etc... Can't wait until you do the Grand Canyon next year !!! low altitude to high altitude. Hey tilt the camera down your wing on your traffic pattern downwind, base etc. like you did at Congo Town, gave it a totally different feel for the landing (just a suggestion). Good pilot skills by the way, great landings every time. The reflection in the windshield would definitely create a different depth perception. Again great video cannot wait until the next. Relax and enjoy yourselves.
The waters of the Bahamas are the best...I have been visiting the Philippines for 10 years..most of the waters in the Philippines are dirty...Boracay until recently used to dump sewage in the sea..
I agree with you about boats vs, airplanes. Fishing on Lake Michigan always gets to me. I've never had a problem in an airplane. BTW, I flew out of the Chicago area for many years. I did a lot of acro in your area. I have a Pitts S2A hangered at IKK. My first solo was back in 1973 at ARR.
Kevin doesnt seem to appreciate a good tan like Jaime does. Its always my goal to have a tan like hers by end of summer to bouy my spirits through the long Canadian winters! Lol
I’m with you on “cruises”. Not a fan. But love the lake etc.. I just don’t trust boats, outside sight of land. Great video and I want to thank you two for putting yourself through this hardship, for us, the viewers. LOL!
Ha ha...same here Randy. Love fresh water boating and have done some salt water fishing. Just not a fan of outside the sight of land on a boat. I will get over it and go on a cruise with her. :)
If you 2 ever take a cruise let me know Id love to meet you guys, or if you get to Sun N Fun as I am within an hour or so drive from there. Your Bahama videos really show a side of the Bahamas that you never see while cruising. Those cure bungelos and the empty beaches sometimes would be a welcome relief from some of the crazy cruise passengers lol. Again thank you for allowing us all into your aviation loves. Great videos.
Glad you enjoyed it Richard!! Thanks for the heads up on the area and that will give us some things to work into our next Bahamas trip. :)
3:43 to 'boats out in the water', ...' ye'h, it's beautiful' 'yeah'. I luv that scene. Breakfast was real. You guys are the best! Norm Labhart. rip.
Thank you for allowing all of us to fly along with you both and permitting us to bask in the beautiful Bahamas scenery.
That was a great video - the Bahamas are beautiful and it is fantastic to see them from the air like this. Thank you for sharing.
This was the most spectacular scenery so far on your trip. Easy to see why you wanted to fly your own plane to the Bahama's. Thanks for taking us with you. Fly safe.
Glad you thought so Dave! The Bahamas are made for general aviation! Can't wait to get back down there.
I like when Jaime opens the door once you both have landed, nice landing Kevin and nice beautiful scenery and pools and beaches

Cool little bit of trivia Steve!
My father flew Dc-8"s and L1011's for AC also Trevor C.Jones he loved the 1011
ted jones Yes I did too. Probably my all-time favorite aircraft to fly. it just did everything well.
I was a full time aircraft electrician with the 102nd fighter wing at Otis Air National Guard Base (KFMH) for 31 years. Great videos guys...enjoyed a mini vacation just watching!

Awesome video!! Making me want to go back ASAP. Nothing like island hopping in the Bahamas
Glad you enjoyed it David!! Makes we want to go back as well. The Bahamas are made for GA flying. :)

Thanks for the memories, I worked at Small Hope Bay Lodge Andros island in the early 70's. Andros Town/ Fresh Creek is a great area to visit if you get a chance.
Glad to take you back Ted!
Wow, that place looked amazing. Thanks for the video.
Great video as usual , looking forward for the next. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it Don!
Another great ride :) , you could take Jaime on a cruise , happy wife happy life lol. As always thoroughly enjoyed the video cheers from Aussie.
Oh we will be going on a cruise no doubt....just was discussing our differences on them. :) Glad you enjoyed this one as well Paul!
Wow! Beautiful! Sure hope to take a trip like that sometime. Thanks again for taking us along!
Hi guys... Corona beer on the table. !!!!!
Greate video. I will be waiting for the next.
Greets from México..
Thanks for sharing another nice flight. Have fun you two!
You're welcome Mike...thank you!
great smooth flight nice place you went to take her on a cruise at sea
Love your Bahama vacation videos.
Awesome...glad you are enjoying it!
Thanks for the ride along , see both of you next. Skip from Modesto California
My god that's like a dream flight... I bet Aurora looked pretty bland when you got back. Good thing you had kids to make you guys go back. LOL!
Love your videos. For your next trip to the Bahamas, Cay is pronounced key.
Very, very nice the flight and Treasure Cay Resort images ! I will fly this route in my x-plane flight simulator . Very thanks !
Jealous! On day I’ll do all this in my 182 (I seriously hope so). Thanks for sharing, you guys are great. Quite the team
You two are amazing! Love the videos!
Awesome....thank you Todd!
Thanks for taking me on vacation......
Thats a good one hahahahaahaha
What a great vacation...... thanks for posting! Merry Christmas Kevin and Jamie🎄
Thank you Terry! Merry Christmas. :)
AWESOME!!!! I just watched and saw Nassau from the air! Absolutely beautiful !!! Watched on my new 4K tv can't wait to see it in person !!! Thanks for sharing!!!!❤️🇺🇸😎✌🏻☀️
Glad you enjoyed it and it turned out well! :) Hope you enjoy your trip down there.
Glad you are enjoying the videos! You should get down there sometime....very relaxing. :)
I sure do miss you kids! I hope you all are doing well!
That is Castaway Cay which is Disney Cruise Lines private island. Carnival does not use their facility. Absolutely loving this series. Keep the videos coming.
Disney is kinda stingy like that
Yup...Carnival uses Half Moon Cay along with Holland America.
hi, good video as always have fun stay safe.
Glad you enjoyed it George!
We've cruised to Castaway Cay before. Cool to see it from the air here.
Ir is a pleasure flying with you !!
Life slows down in places like that, so refreshing and so needed sometimes. It looks like a really nice vacation.
It slows down for sure....just what we needed. :)
Real pretty video reminds me of when I went to the Philippines last summer
Glad you enjoyed it! Never been but would like to one day.
The waters of the Bahamas are the best...I have been visiting the Philippines for 10 years..most of the waters in the Philippines are dirty...Boracay until recently used to dump sewage in the sea..
Well done you two!! Serenity shines threw with you two and editing!
Bahamas, Bikini's, Corona and a 310 - perfect! You two must be having an absolute blast of a time! Awesome stuff!
It just keeps getting better and better! Blue skies and tail winds my friends!
