Beautiful aircraft! Mike, I wanted to let you know that my son is really enjoying his training at Look Up Flight Academy and we are seeing him thrive and his confidence grow like we’ve never seen before. Thanks for all you do!
My cousin owned a large dairy farm and also had a charter business. After working in the fields we would go for rides in the 310. He had a cool pilot working for him, and one day while we were baling hay in a 120acre field, we see this 310 burning down the rows, 75’ off the ground! He flew over top of us doing 200mph!! Man oh man what a sight!! Once in a while we would take the 182 and land in the field. It was kind of a makeshift runway. Being 18, it’s a fond memory. He had 9 aircraft, including an older Lear jet and a newer King air. I learned to fly with him and was exposed to many great planes. We parted ways after a couple years and had our own families. He was killed in a 210 of all things, taking a father and son golfing. They went straight down 4 minutes after take off. FFA and ntsb said it was a catastrophic failure of the craft. Not sure what that meant, but it was horrible. A wife and 3 boys at home. And another mother lost her husband and son. I always worried about him flying. Where we lived there was always icing. Northern Michigan can have odd weather over the lakes. I’ve hit my head quite a few times in turbulence. Take care out there.
In 1975 my dad brought the factory demonstrator model 310 for that year. Cessna's built one example of each model with every possible option on it as a demonstrator. It had 3 axis autopilot and color weather radar! Just a beautiful airplane.
Thank you for showing that that’s one of my favorite aircraft by Cessna. It was a TV series called sky King that’s when I fall in love but he would teaching people how to fly and also he was with the car Arizona detected. Yeah but Cessna had one problem with that model and that was the nose landing gear Air Force use that aircraft back in the early 60s and was one of the major problem was the nose Lale kept collapsing on Landon all just sitting there in the parking space so hit me up with an answer about that thank you John
Mike I love your videos, but you really should do more research before showing these. The black part on the leading edge is not heated to melt the ice, it's usually a boot that inflates to break the ice.
With an avionics build like that, which prob cost as much as a Cessna 172, you’d think someone would have printed out a spec sheet for Mike. And while I know it’s capable of holding 4 people, no one wants to go through 1 effing door to get to those back seats. There are other options with more doors. Just saying. Beautiful plane though!
Great job with this one. That is a beautiful aircraft !! We have a 310 R and love it. You did a great job hitting the points on the 310. thanks for sharing.
Beautiful, fast, and relatively cheap to purchase. That's where the pros end. Maintenance will kill you. You can get the same useful load on some singles. Excessive fuel burn. You have to keep vacuum system even if you go glass.
As someone who's traveled often in boats I can tell you the redundancy is so reassuring for us who worry about equipment failure, I had triple redundancy GPS and Loran and I've actually had to hook up my back up to.my backup due to failure. I know it'd be harder on an aircraft, but I also kept spare GPS antenna's onboard. I know that's possibly overkill for an aircraft, but the redundancy this owner has built in tells me he's the sort of owner I'd feel good about buying from.
Good morning Mike' from SF bay Area. What a STUNNING 310 Q, "Go Sky King" Oh dear if a certain 310 C owner of "Harvey" sees this beauty He might buy it. Great presentation Mike very friendly yet Professional too. WOW, I wish Cessna would start up the production line of these Snazzy Twins. Cheers Kristy
Can you imagine putting 6 adults in this plane and thinking you're going to take off with enough gear and fuel for a vacation🤔 you'd have to go back in time to the 70's to find people skinny enough to meet that 1000 payload.
You can take six adults if you don’t need to take full fuel or heavy baggage.. assuming you’re able to fit within the CG limits of the aircraft. Trade fuel for passenger weight.
Great Walkthru and info.. Well Done ! Love this aircraft since my youth.. (yes, I'm old). This is the aircraft SkyKing flew in later episodes.. (yep, that old.)
Wow that 1955 310 is our old bird, N2661C. Here is it from back in the 1970's when it was cherry, wild to see it now. ua-cam.com/video/3eDQRYgVCF4/v-deo.html We flew that bird for over 10 years and then our last bird was a 1969 C310P, very much like the Q you have here. They really are a wonderful traveling machine. Thanks for sharing, keep it safe out there gang 🙂
Some time planes are like cars, I have time in both Cessna 310 and several models of the Beach Baron. I like the feel much better of the Baron over the 310. But with that said nothing wrong with the 310.
Why aren’t you a huge fan of twin engines? Why fly a single when you can fly a twin? Other than the increased costs they are better in nearly every way.
They're slippery and can get ahead of you if you're not current. Relatively high wing loading makes low speed handling a bit challenging, but VGs go a long way toward correcting that.
Correction. Primary display is a Garmin G500TXi not a G3X as stated in the video.
Beautiful aircraft! Mike, I wanted to let you know that my son is really enjoying his training at Look Up Flight Academy and we are seeing him thrive and his confidence grow like we’ve never seen before. Thanks for all you do!
As someone who has just recently developed a strong desire to fly, I couldn't help but fall in love with the 310q.
Great viewing!!!
I made the first fligth of my life in a Cesna 310. I was a child of 12 years old and the pilot gave me the controls ¡¡¡¡ Indelible memory

My uncle had a 1970 310 , bought it new. I have pictures with me flying it when I was 12.
It’s amazing what a little bit of paint and detailing can do to a almost 50yo plane. Looks new in its appearance
Glad to see a beautiful Trinidad and Tobago influenced airplane 😊
Damn right ❤
My dad was a pilot, AP, Inspector, and a smart man. His favorite plane was a 310.
Lordy what a beautiful bird. 👍🏻✈️

Thank you so much for continuing to put out content. It's like Christmas when I see a new MojoGrip vid. I always loved the Cessna310
My absolute favorite plane!
Trinidad and Tobago represented... Love it!
Trinidad & Tobago Coast Guard had one of these noticed its painted in the National colors and the Flag on the wall
Literally my dream airplane
Beautiful 310!!!
Nice paint scheme, one of the best I've seen, without getting crazy...
Super excited to see these new videos back with your old video style!
Keep up the great work mike!
wow.my first time seen cessna with twin engine
Beautiful aircraft
this is the best I have ever seen, a pure Ten 10
Wow. I think this is it. For the price, power and dual engine redundancy. I think this is what I want when I get my license.
long ago I had the pleasure to fly the C310
The PFD is a g600 txi, much more expensive than g3x

Awesome 310, you are so lucky..........
I share your enthusiasm for the 310. I love your work here.
What a beauty! ❤
Looks like they added Air Conditioning to it as well. There were external AC start buttons aft of the cargo door looked like!
THAT is one heck of a beautiful 310
For sure one of the sexiest planes out there.
Trini waz de scene!!!
That is one SEXY plane dude ! Dude the inside BEAUTIFUL!
What a beautiful 310!
Love your channel - a bit late to the fly-thrill lifestyle
- being dyslexic - and 16 yrs old!, love to live in retrospective. Thx so much!

Very nice 310👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Somebody has some serious money into this airplane. 💰💰💰💰
A lot of pilots did their Twin Rating and Twin Instrument Rating on the C 310.I did mine on a310 D model in 198o.A good fast twineng acft.
Trinidad 🇹🇹
And Tobago

Hey Mike, I want to say I do enjoy your videos! Keep up the great work
what a beauty!
That’s amazing. Doesn’t look 40 years old.

Yeah. It was meant for wife and kids… That went away in the 70’s too. lol
@@toddstarkey6820You forgot the Golden lab, rich people always have a Golden lab. 😂

@@Cowboy_pilot Herd dat. 🤘
Jealous, love my 310 but this one's a dream
They did a great job
Outstanding 310 Mike, great video.
310 lb is a gem. Good job. is it good inside? All proper maintenance I hope. Location?
Great Walkthru and info.. Well Done ! Love this aircraft since my youth.. (yes, I'm old). This is the aircraft SkyKing flew in later episodes.. (yep, that old.)
WOW! As nice as I've ever seen.
How much? Anytime sometime is for sale you should always list a price (except maybe like huge real estate)
Excellent review. Thank you.
The remodel will cost at least $500k, looks very good,
Beautiful bird .....Great Video!!..
Save the 310s!!!
I saved 3. Corrosion Kills…
Oooofa madone! Beautiful aircraft.
ULTRA Nice 310... ';-)
I will never understand permanantly installing an ipad into a panel. What a completely incredible aircraft though!
Nice! You mentioned it wasn't pressurized, does it come with air conditioning?
Baron over the Cessna 310 or Piper Aztec all day everyday.
G500TXi, not G3X. That's a high dollar panel
How much does an interior refresh cost? Not including avionics
Very nice airplane!
Mike. I always heard that this aircraft is heavy on fuel compared with other twins. Am I correct??
Im in love.❤😢😢
Amazing

I'm 6'4 feet tall, is it good for me for training?
Did it sell?
So sky king had a beach 18. But finished up with a 310.
Very nice. Enjoy your weekend. #salute my gud brotha!!!!!!
Super!
I have seen this one and wish I could afford it
Beautiful plane. I’ve been looking at the Piper Saratoga. Any info on it?
still for sale?
How much is the price.?
It was a popular plane of the Free Mexican Airforce in the 70s. 😊
Sweet
Will that thing fly on one engine???
Bro looks from another world without the beard and moustache
I’ve seen this airplane before in Trinidad and Tobago hence the color of the airplane
I highly doubt you seen this in Trinidad but it does belong to a Trinidadian.
Good nite from the bahamas..sir I've been following U for afew months now....are you a private lic pilot
Remove all the seats at the back
And use for cross country light cargo
Runs .
My wish is that I get to learn hio to fly at lookup academy
Great plane curious about price to refit
ALOT!!! Think Bentley

Looks like the useful load is several hundred lbs greater with the Baron?
Price please
Love a 310, but a 340… now you’re talking. Pressurized, speed, useful load.
What did you say this AC's single engine rate of climb is at max gross at, say, 10,000 feet MSL?
At 10,000ft it would be negative. You’d need turbos to have any hope of maintaining level flight at that altitude.
Happy Thanksgiving Day "23 . amen 🇺🇸
Nice
Come on man, how many pistons does it really have?
I was very interested until I discovered it was a non-counter-rotating model. Meaning that if I lost the left engine I ephod be in serious trouble.
Why aren’t you a huge fan of twin engines? Why fly a single when you can fly a twin? Other than the increased costs they are better in nearly every way.
Totally agree
The 310 is one of the harder twins to fly
not really!!
They're slippery and can get ahead of you if you're not current. Relatively high wing loading makes low speed handling a bit challenging, but VGs go a long way toward correcting that.
I got my multi in the 310. Thought it flew easier than a skyhawk as an instrument platform.
Stop the Video at 5:33 and take a look at what I see..Hope he's not a ghost 😂
You're not getting 6 people, luggage, and fuel in this thing if you plan on going anywhere.
