11" (2nd gen - in my case). It's just the right size. When I first saw the iPads in person way back when :) I thought the 12 inch was so big (I think it was a 12 inch and the one I started out with was the 10.9" or whatever it was). I could use an iPad mini to put into my purse. The 11 inch fits, but is awkward. Thanks for the reviews that you do and the way that you do them.
My biggest reason for getting the ipad pro m4 at any size would be to use it as a super portable animated content creation machine. I am VERY interested in how the Fusion page from Davinci Resolve works with the m4 driving it. Honestly ANY feedback someone could give me around this would be greatly appreciated, as I could likely upgrade our desktop to be an animation powerhouse with the same amount of money, but of course that would not be portable.
I use an M2 iPad Pro 12.9. The size is great for me from doing work to watching media. I use split screen a lot so it’s nice to have extra real estate for both sides. Howrever, maybe in a few years, my priorities might change and I’ll find the 11 inch version more suitable.
Oddly both. My 11” 2018 is for reading and writing. I went 13” M4 and LOVE it for sidecar and split screen real estate when on the road 💻 + 📱 =🫶 For website stuff I also like that the 13 inch has full safari Support and not Mobile
I use my iPad pretty much exclusively for art. I’d get a 13” in a heartbeat. The extra inches make a huge difference when it comes to drawing real estate. It’s not like it’s leaving my desk anyway.
Same, but I draw a lot on the go, bed and couch. Have a Cintiq pro if I need a big canvas. I started on the 12.9”, but my arm got super sore, and went for a 11” and can’t turn back. Was considering the 13” for the M4, but honestly just feels too big now. Also I find it working in portrait you get better access of the canvas. Especially in Callipeg. I do like how Apple make sure both 11 and 13 inch basically get the same specs. Samsung limits the ram in smaller Galaxy tabs, while my 11 inch iPad Pro has the same 16gb so I can enjoy all the procreate layers, and other raster app benefits.
If you’re a student and use an iPad for reading technical textbooks, or for serious notetaking, I would always go for the 13 inch. Full size textbooks on an 11 inch equals tiny fonts - not great! And there’s also good iPad friendly Jupyter notebook / Python software, which also works better on the bigger screen. For me, the extra screen real estate is definitely worth it.
I have the 11 inch iPad Pro and, like you, I love it. Your point about the lack of multi-tasking ability is spot on as well. At first, I thought IOS should be more like OS X, but as you say, the inability to have multiple things going on can be an asset, particularly for writers like you and me. Thanks for the video.
Being a Technical Project Manager, i use the M4 iPad Pro 11” on the daily for both work and personal. It’s the perfect device to have in meetings for taking notes (Notability), Microsoft’s office suite, work chat apps, etc. When i upgraded from the 2020 iPad Pro 11” earlier this year, the only thing that would have made me get the 13” would have been if the screen technology was better like the previous version. Very happy with this device size 👍
The plan was to get an 11 till I saw the 13. And I fell for the size. And no regrets. Mind you, this is my first iPad. I have always had Samsung tablets. And yes, I won’t be thinking about a tablet for the next four years.
I used the iPad Pro 12.9 M2 and faced many of the same issues you mentioned. I’m dealing with post-concussion symptoms and need to do my rehab, but I can’t take the 12.9 with me everywhere, especially to doctor appointments. Your video really resonated with me, and I’m convinced that the 11-inch model is the perfect choice-it feels like the ideal fit , thank you .
I’m a student too and I have never had an IPad and I’m thinking since a week now which one to choose I want to take it everywhere that’s why I am thinking of 11” but I want the bigger screen that’s why I’m thinking of 13” , does the 13” easy to carry it in my hand bag everyday everywhere even when I’m shopping since I sometimes I find myself at a coffee shop and I wish I had my laptop to read some papers but it’s hard to carry the laptop all the time even in the mall
@@Sarah_millionaire_2024 Maybe get an 11 air with the Apple Store student discount and currently a gift card £80 in U.K. its size, lightness, and M2 chip are all super handy for portability. Also assess if you really need more than 128gb. If you have a decent iCloud account you may not. I have an ancient 2015 air mk2 that my wife now uses every day for shopping tickets etc. I then bought the great 10.5 in pro with 256gb. That works as my light travel kit with the Smart Keyboard. It’s from 2019 but still going strong. My son sourced me a bargain priced M1 16gb/2tb pro 11 and a Magic Keyboard. It flies on AV editing with the RAM but I’ll never need 2gb as I have a 2gb family account. The only real differences between my M1 and a new M2 air are the pro has better speakers and pro motion. The new Air has the landscape camera which is an advantage. The new 11 in pro has a superb screen but you’d not really notice unless you stuck it side by side with an older 11 in pro. In many respects a student will get better value for an M3 MacBook Air with Apple’s student discount and the most basic IPad as a second screen and using hand off etc. you then work out which kit you need on a day to day basis. The Logitech Combo touch is a great add on too, if you need to type. Far cheaper than Apple’s equivalent.
Been there done that sadly. I downsized from the 12.9inch Pro to the 2018 11inch Pro for the same reason but upsized back to the M4 13inch Pro after 6 years. I found that the 11inch felt too big for casual ebook reading and one handed use but felt too small and cramped for productivity work. 13inch Pro + iPad Mini 6 worked out for me a whole lot better.
I have tried the mini, 11 inch, and 13 inch iPad sizes over the years. I found for most situations, I prefer the 13" MacBook air over an 11/13 iPad. I find the mini iPad the sweet spot between portability and screen size. The iPhone fills the always with you but small size role. The MacBook is the large size screen but harder to carry. The iPad mini can be easily carried and has a big enough screen for most thingss.
11inch all day!😃 I'm a security guard and I use mine to take notes. The iPad locks after every use, keeping info secure. It's the perfect size to hold with one hand while working. 👏👏
I think this question is quite easily answered, ngl. You’ll want the 11-inch if you want an amazing tablet. Something you can easily hold in one hand for hours on end to consume content and browse on, the somewhat wider aspect ratio also helps with video (though OLED has made the black bars on the 13-inch a bit less annoying than before as there’s no more blooming (or greys if you have a pre-miniLED model)). The 11-inch is also easier for note taking tasks with the Pencil, etc. Again, portability is key here. Smaller footprint means it takes less space on your desk, if you put it down to write on. However, if you want a more laptop-like experience, go for the 13-inch with the magic keyboard, the extra screen is great, etc and the trackpad and keyboard size matters if that’s what you use a lot. In other words, if you want to use an iPad the majority of the time as a device in combination with the Magic Keyboard, get the 13-inch. I also understand Artists will want the bigger screen over the smaller one. Sure, the weight of the new 13-inch is dramatically reduced, making it easier to hold as a tablet, but I do feel the size is still “too gd big” if you’re primarily using it as a tablet. You’ll want something smaller that’s not taking up all of your personal space. Personally, I solved this issue by wasting my savings and buying both. But don’t be like me, pick the one that matches your use case most and accept the drawbacks of either when you use it for the other use-case.
I would much prefer the 11inch but I got the 13 inch because I compose a lot of sheet music and the real estate is much needed for writing and reading sheets. If I didn’t use it for that I would’ve gone for the 11. The 13 still does everything without being to big.
Had three 12.9” iPad Pros, opted for the 11” M4 with 1TB in sliver with keyboard case. Great decision, other than case easily marks. Very portable but great screen and size, and more ‘holdable’.
I agree. It started at 13 inches and is now 11 inches. I use my iPad for tablet work but with a keyboard for typing. I understand it is about 50:50 sales-wise. So both have their fans.
I bought the 13 inch M4 (512gb). I’ve tried the M2 MacBook Air 15 and the M3 Pro 14, but what I really wanted was bits of both of them: the Air’s keyboard (which I find nicer then the Pro, possibly due to the slightly reduced key travel of the thinner machine), and the Pro’s screen, added to the full functionality of LiquidText with my 2018 iPad Pro, and the ability to get high quality images of documents. I would not even begin to describe myself as a power user, but as an academic, my particular use case: writing, serious research, then content consumption when I have time, is better achieved with the M4 iPad than any other kit I have ever used. If Apple can improve Stage Manager, I will be like a pig in s**t. By the way, Mark, I bought my first Mac (M1 Air) on your recommendation, and it is still going strong with my son. Cheers.
I'm a long-time 11-inch user, and I love it. The M4 Pro is such a beast in terms of performance, and the screen is magnificent. My 12.9 inch is now glued to my desk and quite often as a second screen to my Mac - and it excels in this role. As to the Moft case, I have one for an older iPad Pro 11, and for the iPad mini, they are very nice; I use them all the time at home; flexible stand and it is magnetic, so it stands sturdy on the microwave etc. but.. to take it with me I find these very well made and durable cases very heavy... compared to the apple case for instance (granted with less flexibility) it is quite a different product.
I’m a programmer. So, I rely mainly on my computer. That’s why I opted for an 11” M2 iPad Air. I can use it for productivity, reading and learning, and entertainment on the go. iPad should be used as an iPad, not a full computer.
I bought a refurbished iPad Pro 11 from 2018, the first one with the current design, and am so glad I did, I absolutely love it! I’ve seen the 13 inch and can’t imagine carrying that thing around 😂 but the 11 inch, perfection! 😎👍❤️
i got small hands and I prefer the 13" ipad pro. this is my first ipad and always wanted the 11" model, I tried both model at the store and straight away go for the bigger model. using the 11" with keyboard is kinda weird feeling.
I use the 12.9 pro M2 because it is my main computer…..I sold all my other devices except an iPad Air for my wife….the larger is very helpful due to my vision issues, yes the weight is heavy, but only one minor issue to put up with…..am very happy with my choice….i here you and understand your choice……BUT…….to each his own. 😂😂😂. Enjoy 4:30
I had a 2018 iPad Pro 12.9'" and loved it. I also had an iPad mini and wanted a magic keyboard to make that my go to note taking machine. After watching your's, and many other reviews, I went with the 11" iPad Pro M4. It's fantastic. I travel a lot and have multiple Mac and windows laptops. I use the iPad every day, the display is unbelievable and with recent updates the issues with the Apple Pencil and overheating have been resolved. Looking forward to trying iPad OS 18
I’ve owned the mini, the 11”, and the 12.9”….used them for YEARS. Mini is the most used! 11” is second on that list. The 12.9” is used. The sound is incredible too. But, it’s too heavy, and I’ve had tons of issues with the Magic Keyboard that I just don’t have on the 11”…. I’d rather use the 11” in THIS instance. But I’m typing this right now on a Mini 6….
I always had the 10.9/11 up until the M2, then I decided to try the 12.9. Yes there is the wow factor at the start, but if you move about a lot the 12.9 becomes a pain. So when the 11” M4 came out I went back to the smaller form factor. It does everything I want for most of the time, and if it doesn’t, I use my MacBook. But of course everyone must weigh up what their individual needs are.
Great video Mark and love your reviews. I bought a first gen 11 inch iPad Pro then moved up to the 13 inch and that’s been sweet spot as a desk top companion. So then the M4 came out it was a no brainer to get the 13 inch and my mini was my travel companion. I did just buy an 11 inch (here Apple, take my money) and wow, I love it for all the reasons you shared. I’ll be keeping by 13 inch for now as well but may not upgrade to the new mini when it comes out.
Nice video. I’ve always opted for the 11in, for me it is the sweet spot between portability and usability. It’s interesting to see that most tech folk opted for the 12.9 iPad Pro because of the Mini LED screen, but now both iPad Pros are OLED they are discovering how much they missed the 11in 😄
i have the 11" with a TB of storage and I use it for everything. Though I taught myself how to use Procreate and now I wish I had the larger screen. But not enough to buy another iPad.
bro, if you’re taking notes on your mac and need to take a photo just set your cursor where you want to place it, right click -> insert from iphone -> take photo, done. I agree, 11in FTW
11-inch or 13-inch? What do I prefer? Honestly? Your beautiful great orange McLaren shirt. Looks so good and matches Lando's victory last weekend. So where were we? Oh, with the iPad sizes. Does size matters? Yes. I prefer my large iPad 12.9 from 2018. It is my daily, almost hourly, faithful companion through thick and thin. Please keep up your good work. Servus from your loyal subscriber from Bavaria.
I love the McLaren shirt! But I prefer the 13-inch. My 11-inch M1 was excellent, but the 13 works better in my workflow. Pitty, the dog, chewed my pencil pro...
I have been thinking of the 11" M4 due to it being smaller but have been using the 12.9" for the past 3 years and its been brilliant, big I know but never got in my way or been an issue due to size. It's made me wonder how I manage for about 7 years with my brilliant iPad mini. I'm now looking at a new M4 iPad and considered the 11" but knowing me I'll get the 13" because of that lovely big screen.
I use my iPad Pro 11” during work then I switch to the Mini 6 when I want to relax or when I go out. Mark, i started using the new Logitech Kays to Go 2 with my iPads, especially when I’m out. I had to exchange mine for the MAC version due to issues with the top keys stopped working with my iPads. No issues now and i absolutely love the keyboard. Check it out!
Great review. Completely agree that the M4 chip in the iPad is overkill. If there was a way to pair the iPad with a Mac to increase performance of the Mac, that would be a game changer, in a multi device scenario.
My use case is probably weird, I have an iPad Air 4th gen and use it during the day for quick check beside the work laptop. My home computer is on another desk and is an iMac. After work I play more and more games on the iPad than before hence it’s not that I want the M4 but rather that 13 inch OLED screen looks oh so gorgeous, and with carpal tunnel hands I rarely hold my iPad and rely on the magic keyboard to hold it even in the living room. If I had a MacBook instead of an iMac I night prefer the 11 inch. But for me 13 inch would be the next upgrade
Great video and some very valid points. I always preferred the smaller Pros just from the portability factor. I’m just upgrading to the M4 from the first generation Pro. 🎉 Oh and thanks for the Moft link I just ordered the iPad Mini case from it 🎉😊
I just got my 11” a day ago but now I’m worried about the potential of an upcoming iPad mini pro or something similar! I’d sell the 11” and get an iPad mini if it had 120hz oled in a heartbeat!
Yup. 11" iPad is the best size for comfort. 13" is too big. Tested them both. Buy a decent case that will survive a fall (and you will drop it) so it doesn't slip out of your greasy fingers. I've opted for iPad Air M2 with the Pencil Pro. It's good enough and I can attach a USB-C drive for video editing.
Why? Full screen with most movies aspect ratio you'll get barely larger video size compared to 11 inch. Just go with 11 inch. If you're into that kind of content consumption go with 14 inch tab S9 ultra, aspect ratio matter more
I bought an iPad 13 inch air M2 and it was so clunky and heavy to hold, really a bad experience for a supposedly handheld device. I’d rather buy a MacBook Air laptop instead. Switched to the iPad 11 inch pro M4 and I am fascinated for the iPad again, after my last one having been the iPad mini 2. I feel this is the right size and weight for this device category.
@@MarkEllisReviews Can you tell me please sound quality of ipad M4 because I got today and when sound is 10-40% than it's quality is very low but increase 50-90% than so loudly. Is this happen in your ipad M4 also please tell me otherwise I replaced it
You don't feel inhibited using the iPad 11.1-inch Logitech Keyboard compared to the 13-inch? I'm in the market for an iPad specifically for distraction free writing and am worried that the 11-inch keyboards will feel cramped.
Purchased a new $1400 iPad from Amazon, could never get it to turn on. Now locked due to too many sign in attempts, computer experts say it is now junk. Amazon will allow return since it was purchased over 30 days ago.
Is the Moft float folio White easily dirty. I can’t decide jet black or misty cove ( white ) for my M4 iPad Pro 11” Silver Please advice Thank u so much 😊
Good ideas and video... thanks. And yes, I had a friend who bought the 13" iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard, but ended up returning both. Seems the keyboard magnets were not strong enough to hold the iPad in place.. I tried using it a couple times... the bigger iPad constantly slid down and off the keyboard... very frustrating. Now I'm looking hard at the 11" Pro.
@@davidosolo but apparently the 13 inch has way better audio and when streaming things like netflix the aspect ratios a bit weird and you're left with black rectangles on the bottom
Which is better depends on how you use it. Some people think that only the mini makes sense, because of their use cases and priorities. Me? I have all 3 sizes...
Sir lately I have been hearing that the Ipad M4 screen flickers and its also grainy when the light is dimmed to about 25% or down. The screen flexes tiny bit as well. Did you notice anything like this Sir. I am planning to buy a 11' model. So your advise would be very helpful
To be fair prior 11 in iPad pros had worse screen than the 12.9 that’s why they were so much cheaper now they have the same screen tech so now it’s the size and aspect ratio that’s different.
I’m not sure if it’s just because I’ve always done music production so have regularly carried around 15 or 16 inch MacBook Pro since 2009 or if it’s because I travel with work, also with a 16 inch MacBook Pro regularly but I just don’t understand the argument of the 13” iPad Pro being too heavy in comparison to the 11 inch. Like what is the actual weight difference between the two? Is it about the same as a sandwich? A bottle of water? I don’t get it.
iPad Pro 11” all day. it’s just big enough….does everything i need to do on a daily basis. i use it as my computer since i do not do anything that requires a computer. perfect for doodling when i want to, taking notes, media consumption is on point with the OLED display. one day, when i’m actually not lazy….i’ll start that youtube channel i’ve been wanting to make. lol. as someone who’s amateur at videos and editing them….this is a good starting point. my son has the new M2 iPad Air and it’s okay….something about it that doesn’t sit well with me. it’s probably the LCD and no Face ID, but it’s still a great iPad for his Roblox, Minecraft and whatever else he does consumption. lol.
I prefer the 11inch size - which let’s face it is large for a tablet whereas the 13 inch is massive. The 11 inch is 25% larger than my last iPad. I only use my iPad to surf while lounging and the left hand naturally holds on to the top left corner. The 13 inch is just too tall in portrait mode for this and your hand starts to ache. The 13 inch models are pseudo laptops really. A phone is a phone a iPad is a surfing slate and a serious laptop is a laptop.

I’d say really it depends how u hold them. I have both and thumb typing on the 13 in landscape gives me wrist pain for a week after because it’s so big to hit the middle keys like “rtyfghcvb” you have to bend ur wrist all funny
I see people constantly bringing up a 13 inch ipad pro and an ipad mini. And i just think thats lizard brain logic. I could just the 11inch ipad pro, and a macbook for a similar price. I just dont think that makes sense and if you get a folding phone you get a ipad mini substitute. Obviously a lot more for that but its a tablet and a phone.
Interestingly, I upgraded from the M1 iPad Air 11” to the 13” iPad Pro. Though I like the 11” size, I have found that the new 13” Pro and new keyboard is considerably lighter and more mobile friendly than the older versions of the iPad 12.9”. Mark - I’m surprised that you find the M4 iPad Pro 13” and new Magic Keyboard too bulky and heavy. Apple really did trim it down in this iteration. The display on the 13” is awesome and, with the new aluminum keyboard top, it feels just like a laptop that can be used as a tablet. I use Jump desktop to connect to my Mac when needed and the larger display works very well for that (vs the 11”). So why not just use a 13” Mac? I like the touch screen and the fact that the UI is optimized for touch, but also works very well with the Magic Keyboard.
What's your iPad or choice and why?
Both

True, but Apple also limit the ram to 8gb for the 256 and the 512, and only the 1tb and 2tb get the 16gb of ram.

The best one to hold for hours is the mini. It’s the ultimate utility tablet. Having that and the 13” is amazing
Cheers.
Having dilemma which to choose, stage manager is really good for 13 inch and keyboard not small while 11 inch look so easy to carry anywhere on hand
Same problem I want it with me everywhere and everyday and I am not sure if the 13” is the one since I really like the bigger screen
For me the iPad keyboards are a crazy price ….puts me off, might as well use a Macbook
I bought a refurbished iPad Pro 11 from 2018, the first one with the current design, and am so glad I did, I absolutely love it! I’ve seen the 13 inch and can’t imagine carrying that thing around 😂 but the 11 inch, perfection! 😎👍❤️
I still prefer the 13” size because of its larger keyboard. I have big hands and with always felt cramped when typing the 11” Magic Keyboard
i got small hands and I prefer the 13" ipad pro. this is my first ipad and always wanted the 11" model, I tried both model at the store and straight away go for the bigger model. using the 11" with keyboard is kinda weird feeling.
😂😂😂. Enjoy 4:30
The best combo, for me, is an iPad 10th gen for everyday stuff paired with the 13" iPad Pro M4. Best of both worlds.
Still rocking my iPad Pro m1 11 inch. Lots of power, lots of work done here.
Same here, although I really want an M4 iPad Pro, despite the M1 suiting my needs perfectly well!
Been there and done that with the 12.9. Personally prefer the 11”. Just the right size.
I’ve had iPad Pro 11” for 5 yrs. I love it
bro, if you’re taking notes on your mac and need to take a photo just set your cursor where you want to place it, right click -> insert from iphone -> take photo, done. I agree, 11in FTW
If I could only buy a laptop or iPad I would get the 13 inch. But because I can buy both a laptop and iPad then I always go for the 11inch.
Haha - love this!
Genius, Thank you for this script!
4:00 pulls a windows surface "that was unfortunate" 🤣
What do you recommend for split-screen note-taking - the 11" or the 13"?
Also, have you noticed any difference in their battery life?
I only got the 12.9 M1 because it was mini Led not lcd
I use my iPad Pro 11” during work then I switch to the Mini 6 when I want to relax or when I go out. Mark, i started using the new Logitech Kays to Go 2 with my iPads, especially when I’m out. I had to exchange mine for the MAC version due to issues with the top keys stopped working with my iPads. No issues now and i absolutely love the keyboard. Check it out!
I prefer 11” for the portability
Thanks for the vid ☺️ you always the best.
Great review. Completely agree that the M4 chip in the iPad is overkill. If there was a way to pair the iPad with a Mac to increase performance of the Mac, that would be a game changer, in a multi device scenario.
Coming from iPad Pro M2 12.9. I decided to get the 11 inch m4 ipad pro. Im not that comfortable holding a 13 inch ipad.😅
Mini 6 here, used for consuming content and reading. MacBook Air for other computer-like uses and work.
I currently have the 12.9 Pro and iPad Mini. I may consider the 11” when I upgrade but not sure I want to give up that screen real estate. 😂
Oh and thanks for the Moft link I just ordered the iPad Mini case from it 🎉😊
I just got my 11” a day ago but now I’m worried about the potential of an upcoming iPad mini pro or something similar! I’d sell the 11” and get an iPad mini if it had 120hz oled in a heartbeat!
watching this video with my iPad Pro M4 11 inch
If you don’t have a laptop and will be using it for majority of things, then get the 13”. However, if you own a laptop then get the 11”
Exactly
Just purchased the moft case for the M4 Pro hope it’s decent
I prefer the 13 inch iPad Pro, bigger is better for me plus the speakers are better on the 13 inch model.
I was always a smaller ipad pro user and that’s not going to change.
I got the 11 because now it has the XDR display... but last time you didnt get that
13” for UA-cam videos, Hulu, and Movies… which is what I mostly do on my iPad because my kids hog the TV’s at home.
Why? Full screen with most movies aspect ratio you'll get barely larger video size compared to 11 inch. Just go with 11 inch. If you're into that kind of content consumption go with 14 inch tab S9 ultra, aspect ratio matter more
The same. Just media consumption.
Just get an S9 Ultra.
For the price of the 13” you can buy another TV..
Great video. Thank you
I bought an iPad 13 inch air M2 and it was so clunky and heavy to hold, really a bad experience for a supposedly handheld device. I’d rather buy a MacBook Air laptop instead. Switched to the iPad 11 inch pro M4 and I am fascinated for the iPad again, after my last one having been the iPad mini 2. I feel this is the right size and weight for this device category.
Thank you for having *good quality sound* on your videos.
That means a lot - thank you!
@@MarkEllisReviews Can you tell me please sound quality of ipad M4 because I got today and when sound is 10-40% than it's quality is very low but increase 50-90% than so loudly. Is this happen in your ipad M4 also please tell me otherwise I replaced it
"To put some context around this video, I was always a thirteen-inch guy" - blimey mate you're not half bashful!
I know - check me out.
Love the tee shirt with the Kiwi logo.
M4 MacBook out today. Mini m4 out yesterday. 🎉
Amazon will NOT allow return.
Is the Moft float folio White easily dirty. I can’t decide jet black or misty cove ( white ) for my M4 iPad Pro 11” Silver
Please advice
Thank u so much 😊
Good ideas and video...
I travel and then 11" ipad pro Isa must!!
I have a series 6 12.9 Apple I Pad so I would get the 13 inch have no reason to go lower in size feel it is a step down
always went for 13 inch because of the display but now that display is on the 11
What do you mean?
@@davidosolo they have the same exact display specs, just ones bigger
@@deep1230-- Thanks. I get it now. This one would definitely favor the 11 over the 13.
@@davidosolo but apparently the 13 inch has way better audio and when streaming things like netflix the aspect ratios a bit weird and you're left with black rectangles on the bottom
@@deep1230-- Interesting. You mean the aspect ratios a bit weird on the 11 inch model?
Which is better depends on how you use it. Some people think that only the mini makes sense, because of their use cases and priorities. Me? I have all 3 sizes...
Yup. Likewise. Try not to upgrade every time a new version comes out!
I think 11 inch is the Perfect Ipad size. 13 inche is a Pure Laptop Category imo
Sir lately I have been hearing that the Ipad M4 screen flickers and its also grainy when the light is dimmed to about 25% or down. The screen flexes tiny bit as well. Did you notice anything like this Sir. I am planning to buy a 11' model. So your advise would be very helpful
1) Great vid. I was already leaning towards the 11” Pro.
2) Is that a “intimate personal care item” at 6:47???!
Nope - it's a camera sensor blower 😉
@@MarkEllisReviews LOL! Okay. 😀
Only reason I wanted the larger one was because of the screen. With the new generation the larger one doesn’t make sense.
Why doesn´t it make sense anymore?
Hi, could you let us know what is the backpack we are seeing around 3’30 when you are discussing portability?
I have the 13 m4 I use it just for tube mainly and kids always on Roblox
Yes IPad Pro M4 11inch is Small But Effective. It gives the IPad Pro M4 13 inch a run for it’s money, going toe to toe with it.
iPad Mini for portability
Guess what, all iPads have the same iPad limited OS. This means, it does not matter if you use the iPad, iPad Mini, iPad Air or iPad Pro.
Told you.
Why would it be weird to take a picture with your iPad? It seems likely that Apple included the camera for that very reason.
I’d say really it depends how u hold them. I have both and thumb typing on the 13 in landscape gives me wrist pain for a week after because it’s so big to hit the middle keys like “rtyfghcvb” you have to bend ur wrist all funny
Mark, am I by myself? Do you get what I’m saying?
I love your videos! You also have a great textured voice for radio/podcasts. I thought you are a massive iPad Mini fan. I can't keep up! Lol!
Time Check, new watch? Do you change watches with your shirts?
I see people constantly bringing up a 13 inch ipad pro and an ipad mini. And i just think thats lizard brain logic. I could just the 11inch ipad pro, and a macbook for a similar price. I just dont think that makes sense and if you get a folding phone you get a ipad mini substitute. Obviously a lot more for that but its a tablet and a phone.
Just bought the 12.9 one and a bit regret it. It’s just too massive😭 not really comfy to use
You mean the 2022 model? I am also confused between 12.9 and 11 inch. but i am targetting M2 chips
M1 is overpowered for an iPad, let alone M4.
Unbelievably heavy ? Yea you're opening up a can of worms with that gym thing now lol.
I hope so.
11 inch. Perfect size for me and if I need a bigger display I just hook it up to a monitor
