I had 88 4.3 extended cab for my first truck my dad handed down to me when i was 16 in 2000. My dad passed away in 95’ i wish i never got rid of it😢
We are the same age and I remember my friends father had one and I remember riding in the back. I couldn't ride in the back now I'd be claustrophobic from the tight space. Sorry about your father.
Man, I miss my S-10!! This brought back some memories. My 86 was all black like this one. I had the standard cab with the beige interior. I laugh at how now guys must have 37s or bigger tires. I ran 235 stock AT tires and only got stuck once. This little truck kicked butt!

I owned two S10 Trucks. An 84 with the 2.0 and a 85 with the 2.8 both 4speeds.
Man, all the memories I have splashing around in the mud back in the day in those trucks. Also all the time I spent sitting in those back jump seats! The rangers had those too.
I have the same truck, Tahoe and all, it's white, used to be mint but got rear ended and hit in my rear passenger quarter panel so it ain't great anymore but this thing is super clean and great job to whoever fixed it up.

You got gem!! I always wanted the 4x4 when I was in HS. They were tough looking. I got a 93 GMC Sonoma SLE package when hunter green ext. And tan interior. I wish it had the 4.3 but it was 2.8 with 5 speed. The cyclone now that was really on the wish list!!

I want a 1st gen S-10 for my first car, but my dad won't let me get one with high miles and I can't afford one with with low miles. He doesn't realize that these old Chevy truck go forever and high miles don't matter. No disrespect intended! I'll just try to keep convincing him. I want the 4.3 Liter V6 4x4 Tahoe. The 4.3 V6 will get well over 300,000 miles.

Was the lift done with the leaf springs? I’m restoring my dads 85 gmc s15 4x4 and want to lift it a bit and put some all terrain tires, but not sure if I use the leaf springs or need to do some other modifications

my only critiques is that i wish it had bucket seats instead of the separate individual seats, i just like the look and the feel of the bucket seat, esp when you're riding with a cute lil huney, she can scooch over real close and enjoy the ride with my arm over her side 😭 got me day dreaming over here!
my other critique is the rims, idk i just dont like em, kinda 'plain jane' status you know? I got a 1986 Chevy S 10 dark blue blue and silver hubcaps they got the Chevy logo right on them, i love em.

At 1:10 it's shows the tire and I think it says "31x10.50R15" on the tire
Anyone know if 23575r15 all terrain tires would fit a regular 82 S10 2wd truck. Not lifted?..
