I wanna build one and want to put a 5.3 Ls in it and ik this truck is very light and i think with that motor will be powerful enough for a daily driver or am i wrong?
I love how you did the quick 10 minute build video, I see all of your videos right from the start with the s10 right too the drag race. Loving the videos and the builds .Keep up the great work .And you Always get right too the point🤙
When I was 16 my first ride was a 1993 Chevy Blazer S10 Tahoe Edition with leather seats 4.3 Vortec V6 4 wheel drive electric lift gate in the rear and the all-important nut cooler vent under the steering wheel
I just recently bought a 94 s10. While a drag build is not my goal I definitely would love to ls big turbo swap it and restore/modernise it to "brand new" truck feel.
The Tech 4 engine in your truck came out in 1977 it was GM's answer to the fuel crisis courtesy of Arab Opec , I had to get up extra early to put even numbered plates on my car to put gas in it on even numbered days of the month then put them back on Dads car before he went to work !
I just pretty much got done rebuilding a 1984 S10 Blazer 2DR, 4X4, 2.8L/Auto with 43,000 Original miles on it, When I bought it like 1.5 years ago and started rebuilding it the previous owner wrecked it and hit a Metal Culvert and bent the frame on it, So I bought another Frame and completely rebuilt the Frame and then dropped the original Engine & Transmission down into the New Frame & then started putting the Body onto the New frame too, I wanted to do a 4.3L/Auto or 5 Speed swap on it SOOOOO bad when I had it all apart, but at the time I wasn't able to find a good donor for it so I just ended up putting the 2.8L/700R4 back in it bc I figured with it having so little miles on it it would be a good Engine & Transmission, well fast forward 2-3 months after I got it done and drove it for about 1000 miles ( Locally ) and then I started having problems with it not wanting to shift right, I messed with the TV Cable and nothing, I went to change the Trans Fluid & Filter and pulled the Trans Pan off and found out that the 2nd & 4th gear bands was laying in the bottom of the pan :( So here I am again looking for another 4.3L/Auto or 5 Speed Donor that way I can do what I should have done like a year ago lol, Not to mention that I'm also putting another 4.3L into my 1995 S10 Truck right now as well bc It spun a bearing on me coming home from a car show, I'm using a 1993 CPI Engine Block and putting all my TBI stuff onto it that way I can get my Truck back on the road too so I can get started on the 4.3L swap on my Blazer. You can check both my Blazer & Truck out on me Channel if you guys want.
Buying an all original one owner 1982 2.8l v6 longbed s10 single cab. Gonna take out the original motor and trans and slam a 700r4 trans with a 350sbc supercharged and beef up the rear end lower it and repaint it too. Got alot on the wish list for it hopefully will have it done next year
So I got one at covid s start for 1k. A basic 97 similar to yours. “Totaled” it yesterday. Hood and number need replacement and from what I can tell maybe a new radiator. Bro I know nothing about cars but this thing looks so sad now and it doesn’t sit right w me. I’m thinking about getting it a lift, a nice camper and fixing what I fd. It’s an opportunity to really make it mine! Definitely looks possible, even for me. Thank god for my mechanically inclined friends! I’m glad to see all these no rust comments, mine has none
I built a V8 1992 S-10 several years ago. It took about a year and a half, and I'm still working on it. I went a completely different route engine wise. I built a 383ci old school small block, not an LS, and I used a Weiand 6-71 blower instead of a turbo. I have not put a cage in it. I've gotten it into the high tens, you don't need a cage unless you get into the nines, which I have no plans to do. I race just for fun. Pursuing faster and faster times gets real expensive real fast, and it's not in my budget. BTW, I also race at Wild Horse Pass. I only live a few miles from there.
Had a 91 just like it, blew up the 4 banger and put a 327 out of a dump truck and a glide. It ruled the Dallas streets in the 90s. Ok not ruled but you know.
I don't know how I'm just now discovering this channel but I hope to see way more of this S10! I have the same thing I'm hoping to start building soon. Keep doing your thing brother! 💪🙏
Nice I’m building a turbo 6.2 for my 83 el Camino it’s got a btr stage 2 turbo cam, dual valve springs, stock rockers with btr trunion upgrade, aglin lifters, billet timing chain and sprocket 1200cc Bosh injectors and a few other goodies
I need to get another square body S10 and slap another 350 in it...between me,my Dad and my Brother we've probably had 10...other than a 70 SWB Chevy the square body S10 is my favorite truck
I'm doing a similar build on my channel but I'm going fuel injected with ls stroker with forged pistons, rods and crank, I just got done refreshing my motor I cant wait to get my s10 done its gonna be a monster
Man those 4 cylinder tech 4 motors were notorious for lifter problems. I had one do the same thing after listening to it peck for 3 yrs. Damn nice build man.
Badass, I love the square bodies and have factory LS motors in 3 of my 4 burbans (03,07 and 2010) and I'm doing a 5.3 LS swap in my blown up 06 magnum wagon with a dead hemi
I saw this truck at LS Fest West. I was hoping to run into you, but it was during the burnout contest so I figured you were over watching that. Next time bro. 👍🏻
I'd love to do something similar to my 89 s10 but I'm young and broke lol. We'll get there though. Love watching videos like this, just seeing all the potential.
You sir I like the work as you patched even all the floors where you cut steel out unlike a lot of youtubers. Nice work mate an she easily has an mid 10 in her.
I’m building an 89 s10 right now and looking for a good tire setup. What sizes are you running here and did you have to modify the fenders at all? Thanks in advance.
Love the video, much respect on your build.. hell of nice job. I built a 79 camaro ls with turbo. Recently I had purchased a step side s10, of course it will have an ls as soon as the 4.3 kicks the bucket 😂
I know this is a little late on the question since the video is a year old haha but what is your front spindle and hub/brake setup? Looks a lot easier and lighter! Thanks!
Looks like you did a lil fab on the turbo install. Was that a turbo kit manifolds, up-pipe,etc? Like how you were able to keep stock front wheel wells.
i am starting to put my s10 back together, i would like to do disc brakes on rear and change the fronts can you tell me about what kit or axle you used on your s10...very clean
Since this video the truck has gone 6s in the 1/8. Check my other videos.
Thank you, I try
What motor did you put in it??
I wanna build one and want to put a 5.3 Ls in it and ik this truck is very light and i think with that motor will be powerful enough for a daily driver or am i wrong?
It’s a 5.3L
OK good, cause I was REALLY LET DOWN BY 11.3......
This was fun to watch. I’m on the west coast of Canada. Just seeing an S-10 that clean without rust was great. The rest was just gravy.
I'm on the east coast and I agree 🤣 not easy finding anything in good shape
Van city living here with an s10
i decided to keep your likes at 69
try being in ontario or further east/north .west coast cars are gravy to us
lower mainland and my s10
is rust free ;)
I love how you did the quick 10 minute build video, I see all of your videos right from the start with the s10 right too the drag race. Loving the videos and the builds .Keep up the great work .And you Always get right too the point🤙
She's an absolutely beautiful, badass lil beast of a truck. I love that you show the building of your creation.

me too just bought a 94 s10 and i’m lookin for somewhere to start on it
finally a "x in 10 minutes" build thats actually a build and not some crappy after market exterior mods and coilovers.
I'm a Ford man, but all American, and I'm drooling, one Chevy build I've always wanted to do.
Beautiful back ground music
Beautiful truck
The guy has it going on for sure
Many happy trails
The back ground music is nice until it comes to the test drive/start up we wanna hear your beautiful build you have my guy.
This truck is crazy!!! Owning a few S-10's myself, I would have been happy with an LS, this guy needed a turbo too!!!
The Tech 4 engine in your truck came out in 1977 it was GM's answer to the fuel crisis courtesy of Arab Opec , I had to get up extra early to put even numbered plates on my car to put gas in it on even numbered days of the month then put them back on Dads car before he went to work !
This makes me want to build a 85 s10 blazer
I've got an 85 s10 truck and a 93 blazer, if your around Arkansas come get one lol
@@750rocketman5 funny cause I got a 89 s10 blazer with a tbi 305 for
600 which I'm gonna make into a daily/drag car

It's a clear reminder of what I've done and am glad It's done except bigger upgrades
Awesome! I need to build me one of these, but like in the 8 second times. Awesome truck though! Can't wait to build one.
Beautiful dime bro! And love your setup, everything looks clean👌🏻 makes me want to start working on my 87 s10

All the way from Delaware & I’m feeling the truck ‼️🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
I like how you put the camera in the cylinder and picked the head off....that was dope video work right there.
I'm watching this in my stock 87 S10 almost drooling
S10 from the 90s are 1 of the most beautiful mini trucks
I like the toyotas and Datsun
Good to see a video that isn't an hour of feelings.

My dad has an 89 Chevy s10 1 prior owner I’ve been wanting to do something like this to it but he wants to keep it all original🥲
Convince him haha
Mayne this are so fun to built I miss my S10
What motor mounts did you run. What suspension/wheel setup are you running
Bad ass truck bud, I have a 1990 S15 GMC that I'm doing a 6.0 in right now can't wait to finish it.

Nice job on the truck. But, never again with that music.

nice job on the build. wat size turbo n stall / cam you used?
78/76 turbo, btr stage 2, custom hughes 4,000 stall converter
I just bought a s10 and a 4x4 s10 blazer yesterday. Not real sure how I should build it. 4x4 street truck???
I know this is a little late on the question since the video is a year old haha but what is your front spindle and hub/brake setup? Looks a lot easier and lighter! Thanks!
Love that body style S10
The front brakes look good
Thanks man
Did you fab the hot side for the turbo? Or did you buy it. The headers and down pipes?
I used stock manifolds and fabricated everything
Makes me want to finish my '99. But I'm going fully built LTG. Hard to find a rust free S-10 in Michigan, much less a square body.
Dude the fuck is good with the carb. “This ain’t just any carb….”
Awesome build nice work, wish i could do that to my S10 haha
Thanks! 👍
What kind of turbo is that and did u buy the complete turbo kit for s10 or did u build it
Its a vs racing 76/78 and I built everything
Looks like you did a lil fab on the turbo install. Was that a turbo kit manifolds, up-pipe,etc? Like how you were able to keep stock front wheel wells.
I made everything and used stock manifolds turned around
You better keep that truck👋🦾
Looking into a 92 4.3l extended cab that doesn't run as we speak. It needs a mountain of work but should be a fun project
I am in arkansas. I have a 1998 chevy s10 4x4 5 speed 4.3 liter 180000 miles for sale no rust on it run great it

That is one sweet ride.
Lots of work and looks like it turned out awesome... I'm building my 72 Chevy truck but it's so expensive it's takes awhile
Yes, it’s very expensive
What was the cost on this build truck included?
Square bod S10, they’re good something. Yes, swap in an LS based motor.
I want a GMC just like this build! Hurt some feelins lol
It’s hurt a few feelings, mostly mine
I got a 97 gmc Sonoma I been thinking about doing that too!
Good work bro. You kept trucking and got the job done.
Nice!! Had that same year ranchero in the background 😀🤣too. What song is that banging my head while watching.
Soundtrack is sick
I’ve been havin trouble finding racing tires for my s10
Did ypu do the backing track too?
