how to change the valve cover gasket($16) on a 1999 mazada protege 1.6 liter, easy job that you can do where ever you live. you dont need many tools. if you see any grim, or oil accumulation at the bottom of the valve cover, oil in the spark plugs, its time to do this job.bra

Question, the two caps/seals behind the camshafts at the back of the head…are they rtv’d in? I have been looking everywhere and there isn’t an answer to be found

Do we have to put rtv on all cover or only on the corners???

If you have the proper gasket for the valve cover, then just the corners where the 90° angle is
