Checked with QC3.0 fast charger, I think D- should be connected after we provide the power to the charger, so sequence is very important in QC handshaking
Hi Sir I have 20 volt Lenovo c type charger it works when connected to laptop but when not connected and I check with multimeter it is showing zero volts and mains 400 volts capacitor is not discharged. How do I enable it's switching . It has 3 output wired. Ground , 20 volts and the signals wire. I want to make it variable power supply without losing amperes .

Between resistor & diode volts should be 0.5v, D+ keep connected then connect D- using switch.

I tried to copy your project the resestor it heat up quickly the output the same 5volt
Resistor is 1K , will never heat up on 5v
