He taps in too well...its scary but I can see how he could do it...tapped into myself...its super raw and scary to get chips pushed your way when the cards don’t matter after that flick or lack of confidence you sniff out in your opponent...its why I study more and play less...also, I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate losing! One of my all time poker highlights... I was goofing around at Ceasers in Vegas at a 1/2. Table was full of overly aggressive players so I just waited for hands and then snapped up their bluffs. They had really typical bluff tells but I was the only one at the table who was reading. I was up big. Dealer change. The old dealer walked by the higher roller table where Ivey was playing and in passing said to him "that guy over there is playing the players instead of his cards". Phil glanced in my direction and nodded.

What people don't realize is this: to be the BEST POKER PLAYER you can be, at a live table, requires you to shed your humanity. I remember once where I REALLY NEEDED to win, and I went to the table with this FEROCIOUS outlook, almost as if I HATED the people around me, and in that session, I was LITERALLY 5X as good as I normally am when I'm just relaxing and having a fun time.

I know all about being the best in the world. Two different sports both a world apart. Even today at age 64 and a half I still consider myself the fastest pinball player alive today. At age 4 and a half onward I never really lost playing for money on a pinball machine.

Why does Barry talk about Phil in the third person, when Phil is right there? Phil even says "I'm right here."
