This is me! 25 years as a fire fighter it wasn’t strong enough after getting diagnosed with stage four cancer. Protect them from the toxicity of their moms friend. She lied and manipulated them and my wife taking advantage of their fears of my cancer. So after 20 years of marriage I live in an RV and My kids believe I am the everything negative in their lives. I’m the coward. 😢😥

Sounds like you are trying to confront the past and your fears while fighting cancer. That is the opposite of a coward. Fight on, Rocdog!
