"visiting the lavender fields" sounds like a euphemism that you use like when your parents told you as a kid that your old dog who got sick "went to live on a farm"
I'm from Utah and it's a desert. I would not be at all surprised if the lavender never grows well here. I wonder if they even get their lavender from those fields or if they are just there for the PR.
@@xstanstanstan it's a pic of the lavender fields in Provence, France. They are arid plants but desert is probably just too dry for them to develop enough oil in the flowerhead
As someone who grows lavender I can confirm that there is nothing more glorious than large bushes in full bloom and there is nothing as sad looking as lavender at the end of its flowering period . The leaves go grey , the flowers are dead . It looks sad AF. I just cannot fathom why they would organise to send them to their lavender fields during the non flowering period , even worse at the end of it .
Once your lavender turns brown, pick it all and place in a paper bag. Break it into smaller pieces. Don't get distracted from the amazing aroma emanating from your fingers as you work. Stay focused! Steep in boiling water for lavender tea! Add pure cane sugar, stevia or honey to sweeten. I place mine in the fridge for a cool refreshing treat in the morning and I no longer drink sodas. It's so delicious!
Believe me, even when the lavender fields are regenerating and empty, the tour of the facility is still quite amazing. We go 3 times a year to their spring, summer and fall festivals and rodeos/concerts. (Scott McCreery was great!) You don't have to rank up to anything to tour it. It's quite an awesome place. The Pecheron stables are my favorite part! Beautiful animals! Their multitude of gardens are unbelievable. The knights jousting in the castle arena are so entertaining. The blacksmithing demonstrations are great. The old timey Tombstone shoot out is OK. The petting farm is outstanding. Miniature horse rides, lavender lemonade and lavender ice cream are delicious. There are far more things to experience beyond just the fields. Their rodeo stadium is state of the art, best in the nation. The sound system is the best I've ever heard. If they could just drop all of the scammy MLM angle of their business, the Young Living Farms would still be a desirable destination event for thousands yearly.
The only time you will hear the phrase "this is your opportunity" more than from a MLM Hun is in true crime documentaries when the police are ttrying to get someone to confess!...lol
Right? I’m a religious gal myself, and how dare you use our Father or Savior to sell your crappy products and recruit people. I think the faith manipulation is a sick thing to use for shampoo. C’mon, son.

Honestly it’s a wretched idea to put out there. People go through seriously traumatic stuff, abuse, assault, etc and a lot of times it leaves them worse for wear for a very long time and it’s a long, painful struggle to get to a healthy place afterwards - to claim that “it was all for a purpose” afterwards is so dismissive/minimizing/invalidating it’s fucking gross. It’s one thing when a Hun says she believes God wants her to be in an MLM. But when they start trying to tell people that their MLM is God’s gift to humanity- it’s blasphemy if you ask me.
As a Christian, I also believe it's taking God's name in vain saying God wants her to be in an MLM. I was, unfortunately, in Amway for far too long because they constantly tell you it's God's plan for your life and how people who have left are rejecting his plan for them. One machine like that does not have capacity for uses beyond cooking. This is a rip off. You can get an entry level home system for that cash. Also, not everyone needs a water filter. If you live in an area with good tap water, newer infrastructure and newer home - it is not necessary.
I agree with your comment about being anti MLm and then joining the business. Something that comes with being anti MLM, at least when you continuesly educate yourself, is being extremely knowledgable. My partner is in Australia and I KNOW that if I just would have gotten in right away when Monat came up there, I could have made bank by busting my balls these first few months and then just let our downline do the work for us. The whole reason I am anti MLM is because I am disgusted by the predatory nature of these companies and THAT is why I passed on that "amazing" opportunity. But since these top leaders have been in a while, it's safe to say their moral compass is not on the same level as mine.
I think MLM reps would be so jealous if they knew how much better anti-MLM channels are at recruiting than they are. Like, every anti-MLMer I know is blocked by tons of huns, and they all have dozens of people voluntarily still sending them clips without being asked! No amount of cold messaging on Instagram will ever get an MLM hun that level of loyalty.
Hotels rates go down after labor day, kids are back in school and family's stop traveling, therefore, hotel's have a lot of empty rooms and can offer then at cheaper group rates. That's probably why that Silver Retreat was booked during the lavender off season.
I work with a Kangen water gal (for 10+ years) - she's also QANON so that's extra fun. I have many stories about her but she regularly swaps out people's water in their bottles. It's something we've just grown to accept 🙄 leaving common sense st the wayside is pretty on par with them 🤣
You are spot on with the lavender fields looking like crap year round. My brother works at dōTerra packing plant (on the lines where they fill the bottles). No we all don't use the oils or believe in their "magical powers" but he says 'hey it's an actual job with benefits unlike the huns.'
My first thought with the dead lavender field was the same as your theory. I just looked up some pics off season lavender fields and they still look better than young living's😂
I almost fell for the Kangen water ionizer through a friend who would soak his fruits and veggies and see the oily pesticides rise up to the surface, that is until I went on Amazon and saw I could get that same machine for a hundred bucks, not 6000$ lol.
You can also leave a jug of water on the counter over night and the chlorine will evaporate for free. And just soak your fruits & veggies in water and vinegar. That’s what I do to wash my produce when I have the energy!
A home filtration system which filters and soften all water going into house with under counter wifi controlled osmosis filter cost $7k including installation. I remodeled my home. The town and home are over a hundred years old and hard water. One machine for $6k is ridiculous.
Hannah... I LOVE what you said about taking control of your own life and how you don't need an MLM to do that. Several years ago I made a 180 turn: Joined a gym, lost 35 lbs, got that Deeeeevorce I've always wanted, made new friends, and found a good therapist. TOTAL LIFE TURN AROUND. I did it on my own and I'm tons better for it. Was it hard? Yes. But I'm CERTAIN that involvement in MLM would have only made things more difficult and stressful (not to mention expensive!) There's NO WAY that ANY MLM could have fixed my problems. THANK YOU for your videos and for the incredible insight found within them!
Wow. Good for you. I decided to lose weight when my doctor told me I was pre-diabetic. I went low carb and lost 55 lbs in 10 months. No MLM products needed.
You also have to buy the $199 instead of the $99 in order to just qualify for a market partner. I originally signed up with the cheapest and you don’t receive anything besides samples to “test products.” Basically you do have to purchase $199 or more to “start your business.” Thank you for the work you’re doing 💓👏🏻
Welcome to Utah, a literal desert. The second driest state in the continental US. That's what most of our landscape looks like, not gonna lie. Except for the golf courses, but I don't need to rant about how much they wasted water this past year during one of the biggest droughts on record.
The lavender fields always look like that - can confirm. ALSO - Let's talk about how Silver Rank is damn near IMPOSSIBLE to achieve. If you look at & understand the Young Living Compensation Plan (the updated one because they had to remodel their entire business structure this year) it takes A LOT to hit Silver. It's only the 5th Rank, but only 0.3% of people in the company made it that far. Yikes.
@@HannahAlonzo yes ma'am. My uplines had many pictures of themselves at the YL Lavender Fields. I remember how they laid it on thick about going to the farms, and they took these super cringe photos jumping up in the air in the middle of that pitiful little dirt field lmao.
Yes!!! I was just trying to articulate to a friend the fact that these people go on and on and on with some vague word salad that always ends up back in the same place. If anything it highlights just how lame this “opportunity” is. They can never just come out and say it because they have to twist your mind first. It’s so sad!!
im sorry i just DIED laughing at the beachbody woman "you are feeling the feelings of anxiety and feeling the affects of your mental health" ah yes i can feel my mental health now. it is mental healthing i can feel the feelings that feel ... feely *squints* (ANXIETY!!!)
Hannah! I was on Indeed the other day looking at jobs and had a job recommendation from Kangen, for their corporate office! I thought it was hilarious considering how hard their reps go at corporate jobs. I did not apply, however.
I had a friend who worked at DoTerra corporate. On top of her salary, they gave her a points budget that she could use for products every month. So she got salary, benefits, *and* literal free products, in a sucky corporate job. 🤦🏼♀️
It's funny how much they rip on corporate, or any non-MLM job for that matter, when their MLM can't run without these people. Somebody has to do all the things that a business needs to run because the reps don't any of it.
Can we get more stories from people on the corporate side of MLMs? Pleeaassee people who know people, let's find out how these businesses are really run.
My grandma used to farm lavander, so I’ve got a good amount of experience with lavender fields. Those fields look very much so like what I’d expect from lavender that’s been cut back and winterized. Still no CLUE why they chose that time of year
I live an hour north of those lavender fields. 90% of the year you drive by (they are right off I-15) and they look like garbage. There's a small blip in the year where they do look super cool, like long rows of deep blue. I'm not sure if they still do, but in the past they held a 5k through the fields when they are in bloom. I always thought it would be cool, except that #1 running is the worst! #2 I hate the smell of lavender and #3 I don't want to commune with the weird oily people.
I go to a lavender field in Michigan to shop in the shop. Even when the plants are not in bloom, there are organized rows of lavender. It has never looked like dead sand patches of brush weed.
OMG YES HANNAH about the amount of time a rep is in correlating to the circles the run around getting to the point! And regarding God doling out blessings: "You get blessings! And you get blessings! Ope, and none for Gretchen Wieners, BYE"
Oh yes!!!! One of my neighbors sold these at my old apartments in like 2010!!! I’ll never forget the end of her VM greeting - change your water, change your life 😵💫
Ok that’s the most a laughed out loud any any of your videos (currently binging) But I laughed WITH an “awwww” of empathy . I appreciated her good hearted twirl all the same.

Agree totally. the sheer check of telling people God wants you to do this, in any context - in MLM to say it to recruit people for your cash value. As for the whole ' things happen for a reason' - whether putting that on God or something vaguer such as fate or the universe. I so hate that nonsense.
That’s awful re lavender fields! My cousin got married at a lavender field in upstate Michigan and it was GORGEOUS… absolutely beautiful! I should now ask if they sell some of their lavender to MLMs 🤣
Hey Hannah, please please do an Enagic deep dive. I was close to getting sucked into this scam a few years ago and sadly last year a friend of mine did join this company and out of the blue started posting about how she achieved financial freedom (which is false) and wants to help others do the same. She's all about manifestation, "energy" and all this higher self stuff. She has deleted me and many other people from her life since. Would be super interested to learn more about what's going on within this business
I’ve been to Washington State lavender fields and it’s a dream. That looked like hell on earth. Amare is a mental health MLM look into that cluster eff! I wonder how their 1099 employees talk about it. They sell “Happy Juice!”
When you have to try that HARD to talk people into joining your “business”, Jeeze. If it was as good as they claim, they wouldn’t need to talk anyone into it, people would be on wait lists for the next open “opportunity “. Just wow!
I’m sorry. Is Ms. Monat also wearing a whole ass VERSACE ROBE IN THIS LIVE. In front of her life size poster. Talking about an EGO. Jesus Christ that is just too good.
I'm almost _certain_ that lavender Hun was *ordered* to make that Insta reel to promote the "paid vacation" or something, because I cannot imagine having gone on and on about how you were going to an Eden of blooming flowers only arrive at a barren wasteland and still willingly upload that reel so everyone you've publicly bragged to can see in 4k how it _literally didn't happen._ It's like telling everyone you know you're going to stay at some fancy hotel suite and then end up at a $20 a night motel filled with vermin and still wanting to post photos about it, just not buying it.

No amount of cold messaging on Instagram will ever get an MLM hun that level of loyalty.
Dang this is actually so true…
I had to pause, rewind, and show my husband the lavender field part. I have never laughed so hard at a mlm hun's post.
Hotels rates go down after labor day, kids are back in school and family's stop traveling, therefore, hotel's have a lot of empty rooms and can offer then at cheaper group rates. That's probably why that Silver Retreat was booked during the lavender off season.
My stepmom sells those water machines and I can honestly say logic and reasoning are definitely lacking on her part 😂
Oh no!!! The lavender fields. Such a quality representation of promises vs reality. 🥴
Soooo true!!
I work with a Kangen water gal (for 10+ years) - she's also QANON so that's extra fun. I have many stories about her but she regularly swaps out people's water in their bottles. It's something we've just grown to accept 🙄 leaving common sense st the wayside is pretty on par with them 🤣
Stop it right now she does NOT swap out people’s water 😂😂😂 I’m dying
Please share all of your stories!!!
@@jeanetteandrews3319 I sent one of my stories in to Hannah a week or so ago, probably the most appalling - fingers crossed it pops up soon!
Where are they growing that lavender, death valley?! My dead petunias look healthier than that.
HAHAHA omg I’m dying 😂😂 the plants look SO SAD
And they're an annual!
You are spot on with the lavender fields looking like crap year round. My brother works at dōTerra packing plant (on the lines where they fill the bottles). No we all don't use the oils or believe in their "magical powers" but he says 'hey it's an actual job with benefits unlike the huns.'
My theory about the field is that it was cheaper to fly during shriveled season 😂
I found it so interesting that the hunbot talks about god wearing a fancy white rob with gold accents. Just... so.... ma'am? this is a Wendy's!!!!!
IM DYING AT THE LAVENDER FIELDS 🤣
ME TOO KAYLA
My dad, a high as a kite hash smoking acid popping hippy who made his own sandals.. That first girl?..what the actual . Pops, you're not so bad.
Oh my gosh 😂 your dad sounds fun!
My first thought with the dead lavender field was the same as your theory. I just looked up some pics off season lavender fields and they still look better than young living's😂
Oh my gosh so funny 😂 I’ve had a couple other people comment saying that the YL fields look like this most of the year. So sad!
I almost fell for the Kangen water ionizer through a friend who would soak his fruits and veggies and see the oily pesticides rise up to the surface, that is until I went on Amazon and saw I could get that same machine for a hundred bucks, not 6000$ lol.
Oh no way! That’s crazy! Yeah, definitely don’t need to have thousands of dollars and join an MLM to be able to wash your produce!
You can also leave a jug of water on the counter over night and the chlorine will evaporate for free. And just soak your fruits & veggies in water and vinegar. That’s what I do to wash my produce when I have the energy!
No way!!!
A home filtration system which filters and soften all water going into house with under counter wifi controlled osmosis filter cost $7k including installation. I remodeled my home. The town and home are over a hundred years old and hard water. One machine for $6k is ridiculous.
@@mkaverage4773 I came up with a lazy hack of putting vinegar in a spray bottle and spraying the fruit and then just rinsing it. 😅
@@carolsummers8734 Congrats Carol! Empowering, isn't it?
You also have to buy the $199 instead of the $99 in order to just qualify for a market partner. I originally signed up with the cheapest and you don’t receive anything besides samples to “test products.” Basically you do have to purchase $199 or more to “start your business.”
Thank you for the work you’re doing 💓👏🏻
Ooh okay this is interesting! Thank you!
I just searched for "Kangen cringe" yesterday! You read my mind, Hannah. Have a great week ahead! ❤
Ahhh haha I love it 😂😂
I like the part where Hannah's cat shows up, says "its cattin' time!" and cats everywhere.
Thanks for making me spit coffee all over the inside of my work truck, when you showed the actual lavender field… i’m dead!!!! 🤣😅
Oh my gosh so sorry 🤣
"I'm dead", and so are those fields 😂
Yikes.
Thank you for confirming!! And yeah silver is like midway up the comp plan but also almost no one makes it that high 😂
@@HannahAlonzo yes ma'am. My uplines had many pictures of themselves at the YL Lavender Fields. I remember how they laid it on thick about going to the farms, and they took these super cringe photos jumping up in the air in the middle of that pitiful little dirt field lmao.
Let me just say- I've tried this water from someone who had it and it's just water 😂😭 such a wild MLM
Hahahaha thank you for confirming!!! 😂
Yes!!! I was just trying to articulate to a friend the fact that these people go on and on and on with some vague word salad that always ends up back in the same place. If anything it highlights just how lame this “opportunity” is. They can never just come out and say it because they have to twist your mind first. It’s so sad!!
Such a good point!!
I would PAY to see their faces when they first saw that poor field 😂😂😂😂😂
im sorry i just DIED laughing at the beachbody woman
"you are feeling the feelings of anxiety and feeling the affects of your mental health"
ah yes i can feel my mental health now. it is mental healthing
i can feel the feelings that feel ... feely *squints* (ANXIETY!!!)
Hannah! I was on Indeed the other day looking at jobs and had a job recommendation from Kangen, for their corporate office!
I thought it was hilarious considering how hard their reps go at corporate jobs. I did not apply, however.
Yesss! I’ve seen these for Monat too! So hilarious!
Don’t trust reps to pronounce the name of their MLM correctly. Exhibit A: MONAT
Oh my gosh so true… you have a point 😂😂😂
Lmao.
It really annoys me, as an art history nerd, when they pronounce it like the name of the artist. Don’t sully Monet’s name with this garbage.
Reminds me of a book that came out years ago called the secret where if you just dreamed about it, you would magically attain everything you wanted
My grandma used to farm lavander, so I’ve got a good amount of experience with lavender fields. Those fields look very much so like what I’d expect from lavender that’s been cut back and winterized. Still no CLUE why they chose that time of year
They "put their ego aside"... says the woman who has a poster of herself on the wall. 🤣
All these huns that bring God into there pitch should BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES.. truly..
The lavender field thing gets better - I knew someone who went on a trip where they … *wait for it* … got to PLANT A LAVENDER PLANT!!!
I absolutely love the long videos, please keep them going!!! And thank you for doing all these videos!
Thanks for watching Sara! ❤️
The "until God opened the gates for the people that need to be in my life" in lieu of "I recruited my downline" is just top tier tbh
Truly insane!
Hahaha oh my gosh thank you for confirming!! I’m sure they look cool while they’re blooming but this looks like trash 😂
I remember from my MLM days that we used to have a prayer before every meeting. Now I know why.
whaaaaateeeefreeakkk, its just a job but they act like they decoded the mystery of existence and still cant pay rent with it
I think I may have rented the VHS of "Oily Business" from the back room of a video store back in the '80s...
They were so bold to post those clips in that desolate ass field 😭😭
Of course the lavender fields look like hell. Utah is in a record drought.
I go to a lavender field in Michigan to shop in the shop. Even when the plants are not in bloom, there are organized rows of lavender. It has never looked like dead sand patches of brush weed.
Those lavender fields are abysmal 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Soooo funny I’m dying 😂
You know? First time I actually felt bad for these reps, they probably arrived and broke their hearts. Ah well 😁
They’re like “this is it???”
Well that's the same sentiment of joining an mlm, so maybe they were expectation setting 🌝
We're excited you're back!!
Hope you have a wonderful holiday with your family 💜
Thank you Karen! So happy to be uploading again! Even though it was just a week off it feels like it’s been forever 😂
OMG YES HANNAH about the amount of time a rep is in correlating to the circles the run around getting to the point!
And regarding God doling out blessings:
"You get blessings! And you get blessings! Ope, and none for Gretchen Wieners, BYE"
Omg the white and gold robe lady... CRIIINNGGGYYYY😂
"You need to hear this. I'm saying this because you need to hear this. You need to hear this."
Me: "tell us then!"
Not the Kangen water ad before the video 😭
Oh yes!!!! One of my neighbors sold these at my old apartments in like 2010!!! I’ll never forget the end of her VM greeting - change your water, change your life 😵💫
I would have been sooo super disappointed about that lavender field it looked so sad I feel bad for that lady.
Ok that’s the most a laughed out loud any any of your videos (currently binging)
But I laughed WITH an “awwww” of empathy .
I appreciated her good hearted twirl all the same.
That lavender field is DEPRESSING AF
The level of manipulation, especially faith manipulation, from that last Monat rep is actually scary.
I'm beyond furious. Honey, I might trust God but that's got nothing to do with you. And I feel even more strongly that he's not been having personal chats with you about other people's lives, needs, and futures. Congrats on earning a A in Affinity Fraud 101.
Faith manipulation at its finest!
Agree totally. the sheer check of telling people God wants you to do this, in any context - in MLM to say it to recruit people for your cash value.
As for the whole ' things happen for a reason' - whether putting that on God or something vaguer such as fate or the universe. I so hate that nonsense.
@@HannahAlonzo Thank you for your comments critiquing the firebrand sermonizing as not being godly
That’s awful re lavender fields! My cousin got married at a lavender field in upstate Michigan and it was GORGEOUS… absolutely beautiful! I should now ask if they sell some of their lavender to MLMs 🤣
That sounds like an amazing wedding location!!
“I’m not trying to mislead anyone.” Uses lies, faith manipulation, fear mongering, etc. 🤦🏼♀️
Me too! I just noticed a Kangen store front in AZ! 55 5-star review and one 3-star review that the store responded to rather upset 🤔
As someone who often goes to a lavender field nearby, they do NOT look that bad even in off season. I promise it still looks like crap in bloom.
30:42 Me neither. An MLM doesn’t represent ANYTHING about what it is to follow Christ. PERIODT!
I CANNOT stand this hun!!!!! She is the worst!
Hanna you probably loved EVERY MINUTE finding that spelling error.. TEACHERS love that . Especially because it’s an MLM .. lol
Hahaha yes so funny 😂
That woman repeating "Believe!" just made my otaku self start quoting Naruto's catchphrase: "Believe it! Dattebayo!" 😂
I’ve been to Washington State lavender fields and it’s a dream. That looked like hell on earth.
Amare is a mental health MLM look into that cluster eff! I wonder how their 1099 employees talk about it. They sell “Happy Juice!”
That wiuld be a really interesting mlm to find out about! Weird to hear mental help & mlm in the same sentence! 🤢
Ugh I’ve never been, but I’d love to go!
And that sounds….. so interesting and ridiculous all at the same time 😂
7:46
Im so glad u said a real liveable income and not the fluff number said on the news
What a disappointment I’m sure that was for her!!
