It's so nice to watch a master builder at work, especially when I am in a situation where I cannot work on any models now. And with the magic of time lapse photography we can see many hours of work completed in minutes.
Hi Andrew, thank you so much. Paul
Top quality as always Paul, hope all is good and you have had a good Christmas.
The wonky house is starting to look really good Paul.
You elevate the humble craftsman kits.
Top work
It’s only wonky because of the gin you’ve got sloshing inside you. 😆 Paul

It was rum I'll have you know, the wonkier it gets the more it makes sense 🤪
Nice video you done enjoyed it so much thanks DD.
Glad you enjoyed it. Paul
@@GalgormHallPaul thanks very much for replying to my comment. It's nice to see other people's work to get idea to improve my Channel. Take Care and Happy Easter DD.
Coming along nicely Paul. So many angles to conquer!
Thanks Gary, the angles are a bit awkward but give an added challenge to the build. Paul
Well done Paul another great one
Thanks so much John. Paul
Great update Paul!! Thanks for sharing mate!!!
Thanks Onno. Paul

Thank you Ross and I hope so. Paul
Hi 👋 how is the layout now? Been a while since I've watched your things but popped up today and reminded how helpful these were!
Build going along well, and lots of hints & tips along the way. Looking forward to the next part. Cheers Paul, always enjoy watching your builds.
Thanks as always David. Paul
@@GalgormHall You are welcome! My pub build wouldn't be coming along so well without your great guidance.
@@davidhinks8384 just remember I’ve made all those same mistakes and still do. The reverse side of the roof on this build is a case in point and but for the fact it will be invisible from the viewers side I would have replaced it. Paul
Good build Paul looks good keep up the good work
Thank you Brian. Paul
Great video Paul 👍
Thank you. Paul
i enjoyed watching this video - you really brought that building to life!!
Thanks again Cliff. Paul
As usual, a very helpful video. Cheers from Wisconsin!
Thanks for watching Andrew. Paul
Good build Paul looks good like doing kits my self keep up the good work on the channel and vids thanks lee
Thanks Lee, this has been a really enjoyable kit to assemble so far. Paul
paul are you ok as I haven't seen you on latey the wills kits are a very good start to scratch building as you know I have done a lot of conversation with those kits with very good results Anthony
Hi Anthony, thanks for asking after me. Yes, all good here. Unfortunately I just haven’t had any modelling time of late due to work and life commitments. I’ve grabbed the very odd hour here and there to do little bits but nothing noteworthy to put a video out. Regards. Paul
Hello Paul, I am astonished by this series and do like your content very much.
Thank you very much for encouragement given to us modelers to scratchbuild our own buildings by altering kits! I cannot await further progress onto this buildings as I do love the very realistic Art of building a building in a Budget and getting the most out of it. As we in Germany will have got a new Covid-Lockdown (from October to Easter) I do will have time to start my own Light Railway Micro layout project on NarrowGaugeIsland in these coming days and months. So your motivation ist very wellcome to a lot of people locked down in their flats banned to the hobby. So your channel is a not to been underestimated source of important inspiration for us. Due to this a big thank you and hopefully you do find some time to get some new progress done.
Will you add an abbrivation of a first floor into the buildings (due to the typical angle of view from above) or are you going to enclosed the windows?
And I did learn I really do need a propper antiques and books shop on a hilly road on my layout, too 😁
Best wishes from Berlin, Christian
Hi Christian. Thank you for your very kind message regarding the channel and it’s content. The best of luck with you micro layout over the winter period. Paul
Hi Paul, I missed the preceding videos on this build and do as you were working on it zi was thinking, did he make an error(🤣) of was the geometry planned?
A very complex set of angles which adds to the complexity to the build especially that roof.
Clearly I must go back and watch the other videos. Well done and why bother doing something simple👍
Hi Charlie, when have I ever made things easy for myself? 😆 Paul
Hi Paul Ive only just started to watch your channel and have just been trying some scratch building one question I have and has probably has been asked is
Do you glue painted parts together or clean paint off first cheers
Hi Darryl thanks for taking the time to watch those videos. With regards gluing parts to painted areas I try to avoid it if possible. That’s not always possible though, say if adding some spouting to already painted brickwork. In that situation I’ll use a glue such as UHU or a superglue to ensure it’s as good a bond as possible. That said there is always a risk that it may come away due to it bonding more to the paint than the actual surface. Hope that helps. Paul
Just a simple question. What adhesive did you use to put the painted windows in place?
Hi Chris, for window frames and glazing I used plastic weld. Hope that helps. Paul
