"I'm in the attic, I'm orbiting" Hysterical! ...and, oh, boy, could I relate!
I never know where he is
That's what I heard before the aneurism.🤯
Spinning around to find his shoes. So accurate.🤦♂️🤦♀️😂😂
I could pull my hair out trying to get my kid to look at something he looking for that is 2 FREAKING INCHES away from him.
"Looking" is a lost art
Lol
@@beth8775 haha, so true. Children have the worst sense of direction sometimes.. it's both cute and comical😂🙂
@@pennholderness7142 tell me about it😂😂
I love when PC is the Adult, you can tell he gets such a kick out of it
I dont know about him but my hubby is literally a kid in an adult body, so hed be same haha
POV: The mom is the kid and Lola is the mom
It's also obvious Penn gets a kick out of being the kid! lol
@@animallover2070 mine too😂 the socks made me laugh, my husband almost does that hahaha he’s looking for “the” good pair in the laundry and put it everywhere🙈😅
Some of his gestures are just like his mother
"Did you actually tilt your head down and look at the floor?" Comes out of my mouth way more than it should with one of my children and I feel this video in my soul!
Its crazy . Kids will even look at the ceiling while looking for shoes
@@bethgramkow5225 Lol🤣
@@bethgramkow5225 HAHAH yes my kids did this all the time...looking at the ceiling...I said many times...when is the last time you found your shoes on the ceiling!?!?
"There's one pair that isn't itchy." 😂😂😂 Also, PC is amazing!!! Such a natural!!!!!
Seriously my life every day.
he is really good at making fun of us
TOTALLY my kids!
😂 "I'm orbiting the earth, Daddy!"
"Really!? "
The not cold happens conversation happens every morning.
Along with the looking for your shoes
But the sun is out 😤. Yeah it’s middle of winter. Sun is irrelevant 😂
and then in the summer he'll come down in a sweater
Kids have more brown fat than adults...
Aaaand time to watch my fave parody song "Shoes Yourself!"
The role change should be permanent. I know Penn would enjoy being a kid again. But then Kim probably thinks Penn is always a kid anyways.
Today is a virtual day!!!!! I can’t stop laughing 😆
That was epic. Kids are excellent at waiting to remind you of such important details.
I know right lol
😂😂😂
PC was great! He captured Dad’s talking cadence and tone perfectly!
And yet....that stinker is STILL not going to put on those shoes. Or a jacket. Or pants.
So cute, so true in my family as well, lol. My son is sooo slow when he’s getting ready, he stops and stares, we call it “Mid-Sock Meditation”
Lol, I am guilty of Mid Sock Meditation
@@abbyc4167. I will have to tell him! He will be glad to know he is not the only one!😂
I remember that I was the same :D. And occasionally it happens even nowadays 🤣
😆😆😆
Lololol that's awesome
"These socks are itchy, there's one pair that not itchy" this video was so good!!!
“One pair in your entire drawer?!” That was his mother speaking lol
"They're ON me"
Yup. That's my smartass kids.
"Is not cold!"
"It's 28 degrees!"
Me in the UK like 👁👄👁
Same😅😅😅
28 Fahrenheit is -2 Celsius!
@@hannahmcphee2185 Thank you I was wondering
Me in Celsius: that’s not bad! Oh right Americans
Still not cold, just chilly
That little boy is just like his mom! His mannerisms are just like hers, so cute!
Penn Charles was having way to much fun!!! 😅🤣
Oh my gosh! “Show me HOW you looked for them.”
At my house we call this Barney looking!
When the kids on Barney looked for something, they inspected the clouds and practically tripped over what they were looking for.
My son is 24 now and still hates when I ask “Did you Barney look or ACTUALLY look?”
I always say that trying to get the kids out the door is like pushing a mule backwards up a sand dune. This was so relatable it hurt.
"It's not cold!"
"It's 28 degrees!"
Laughs in northern
At the end PC gets out of the car and he's not wearing shoes! 😂😂😂
That child's snaggle tooth laughter though. So adorable and contagious
Never had kids but this is so true. I work with elementary students and getting them to get ready to leave is just like this. Especially the meteorology homework one.
yeah that one was easy to write bc its happening now
@@pennholderness7142 I’m curious to see what your kids thought about this. Did they deny that they do those things or just laugh because they know it’s true?
I have no children either, and this video just reminded me just how wise a decision that was. The differences in what was expected of kids in the '70s, vs. today, as far as being ready for school are continents apart. Plus, we walked or took a bus. There was no 'drop off line' or anything like that. I have no idea how today's parents stay sane.
Haha same! As soon as he started to open the backpack I'm like "we'll never recover from this"
🤣 I lost it when “Dad” was in the car and they started in with the kid in the attic... I don’t know how kids do it?!?! 🤯 “I had to go back upstairs to get some quarters ($20 worth) for the gum ball machine while my sister is in gymnastics lessons.” 🤦🏼♀️
We are "late" every morning because of this. They forgot the "I need you to sign this!" as you're walking out the door.
Penn does a great job being the kid 😁 where are you?? In the attic, on the trampoline, back in bed,in the middle of the street, in a tree, orbiting the Earth...oh my goodness I laughed so hard!! 😂🤣😂🤣
Mini Penn looking for his shoes is exactly what my 11-year-old nephew is like looking for anything. Once he stood in front of the pantry in my house for like 5 minutes looking for the popcorn... it was like a huge blue box all the way at the front slightly below his eye level, all he had to do was tilt his head maybe 15 degrees down and he'd see it. I had to go get it for him.
My Mom would say "It is right under your nose. If it had feet it would jumped up and bit you."
Sunny wants her own trailer, catering, and massage therapist. WHERE'S MY SUNGLASSES I'M A STAR!!! GET ME MY AGENT!!!
she's such a diva
@@pennholderness7142 The silent judging.
Putting his shoes "ON" is classic kid behavior. Also, your daughter pointing her finger & laughing literally looks JUST like her Mommas :) Every point is💯true 🤣🤣🤣
The boy is supposed to be imitating Dad, but he sounds just like his mom he uses her tone exactly!
"Its a virtual day" lmao, not a word of a lie
Omg, I died laughing at this point even though the whole skit had me in tears 🤣🤣. Every parents struggle in the morning made worse by covid!
Y'all are so wholesome, yet real! Thank you for providing fun, down-to-earth content! Entertainment should be escapism! :)
My boys every morning when they were little now as adults still Partially true. Both have ADHD 😂😂
I also have 2 ADHD boys and you give me hope that I too will make it LOL
@@Jenn-ie5vf yes the do get a little better as they get older they are in their mid twenties now. My younger one is also on the autism spectrum.
@@angelastone9005 Hey mine are on the spectrum as well LOL Nice to meet a fellow mom who knows my struggles LOL
@@Jenn-ie5vf 😁😁
Yep, another mumma with 2 on the spectrum and one also with ADHD....the two go hand in hand!
I love that your son actually does NOT have his shoes on in the outtake reel. 😂
Please do the Lola/Kim version of this, as well! 😂 💕
So relatable and hilarious! I've had mornings where missing shoes were found in the toy box, on a teddy bear and once in the freezer. No clue how that last one happened but it didn't surprise me.
I still remember my brother's gloves in the refrigerator. If anything, they should have been on the heat!
They must have secretly installed cameras in my house when my children were growing up.
Fun role reversal, Penn Charles and his ‘stache were very parental. My “squirrel!” moment = the Bake mug next to the mixer...from King Arthur?
It is! Squirrel!!!!
“ these socks are itchy” I can totally realate😂😂
How bout in your room
Blank stare
* Runs to bedroom
“You realize this is a virtual day, right?” 😂😂😂
I am just sitting here going " that's my oldest....my youngest.....my middle child ....youngest again.....all three of them....."
It's so funny that the son really does laugh like that, and wasn't wearing shoes during the shoot!
This kid is going places. Amazing actor and really good at situational comedy. They both seem like great kids, well done.
PC is excellent in this! Congratulations!!!
Agreed!
The part about not being able to find shoes reminds me so much of my daughter. She can never find anything and yet I can find whatever she was looking for in less than 30 seconds cuz it's right next to her 😑
It’s like they’re selectively blind ugh
😑
The itchy socks... perfect!
This happened to me everyday. Literally everyday. Shoes are a pain in the butt.
We've always kept shoes by the front door. (We all don't like wearing shoes anyway, and don't wear them in the house.)
Could’ve sworn I was watching Elf ..... 😂🎅🏻
I love that PC doesn't have shoes on...in the car...
I know right... we saw that in the edit and laughed our butts off
Dog cuddles are the BEST reason for being late or distracted!
The kid playing the dad gets so fed up that he gives up talking with the dad voice and just goes back to his normal kid voice 😂
They should do this again but with the girls!
Can you do a skit when Sonny the dog can talk
Yes!
Sunny* and she talks in this video: ua-cam.com/video/HAWpt4s1SUE/v-deo.html
But yes that would be amazing! We need more of her talking, and a skit would be perfect!
we've talked about that
Great idea!
@@pennholderness7142 - Oh yes! Please make a video from Sunny’s perspective!
I can relate to this. I have a brother and he is 100% this all the time. Thanks for making us laugh 😆
Yes it rlly is me and my brother every morning
“Its not cold!”
“Its 28 degrees!”
That is me and my mom right there. Lol.
Sunny's #1 fan here - please produce a full length feature starring Sunny as the main character. I would assume that'll take some time and effort, but I think that would skyrocket to your most popular video, ever!
But can we acknowledge that PC STILL don't have shoes on when he's suppose to be Penn outside in the car! I see this is based on reality lol.
Props to your son....he did great!
I don't even have kids and this is hilarious!
Lol love this channel! 100% true!
The video is I mean
60+ and I want to take a pass on which one is me! Now, where are my shoes?.......
This dad/son video is so wholesome
Don't forget the
"I DIDN'T WANT A PB&J SANDWICH! I WANTED HAM AND CHEESE!"
"I looked everywhere!" "Show me how you looked." Looks around the room but not down. I am like this sometimes and don't really look. Lol
PC as the adult getting out of the car in his socks....no shoes 🤣
How did you get into my house to film my life? This is scary accurate.
More of these please!!! I love when the roles are reversed.
Your son is a really good actor! I’m impressed!
Guys... This was so funny I sent it to everyone of my friends that has children. You two were hilarious together. 'but, they're ON me'..spinning in a circle..."you do know this is a virtual date don't you?" Omg
Lol lol
awww, Sunny! Yes, our dog is definitely a deterrent, too. And although we homeschool, if we do have to go out, it's such a production, JUST LIKE THIS! Bwahahahaha!
Love the video- so accurate! You should do an afternoon after school when the nonsense of arguing ensues to do ANYTHING 🤦🏼♀️
I am in a tree, I am orbiting the earth, I am in bed i’m in the attic, I’m in the middle of the street. I love the lyrics that you guys make. I just love the Holderness family so much I subscribed
" I LOOKED EVERYWHERE!!"
Makes me laugh Soo hard
Shoes on the head lol
Yeah that was a good one.
Not possible. Lola is so ready, she probably is waiting for everyone else. (Poor Lola). 😫😭😭
My mom: Stop petting the dog
Me: No
My mom: we gonna be late
Me: *Freaks out*
Every morning with put your shoes on. Until I sound like a demon they do not listen then I hear you’re so mean 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
From mine, I heard, "Why are you so mean?" And I responded with, "Why do you force me to repeat myself until I'm irritated?" Kids are awesome!
I too break out the “demon voice” once I’ve had enough.
Lol, the point about Sunny being the greatest deterrent in the morning sounds very plausible to me. I once told my mom that she was lucky I didn't have a pet or she would neeeever get me out the door on time in the mornings in the winter.
one of my favorites so far! HILARIOUS and incredibly accurate!!
I’m laughing while boiling on the inside as I think of trying to get my 6 year old out the door... it’s too soon for me... maybe in 10 years I’ll laugh and not cry too. -Lindsay
It can definitely be hard to laugh at stuff that's ongoing. (My youngest is 17 now.) But I hope you get a good laugh every day. It's a great tension reliever!
Good luck and good day, my fellow parental unit!
EVERY. SINGLE. MORNING!!!!
Our conversation this morning was pretty much the same with my 10-year-old.
Me: “You can’t wear shorts and a T-shirt to school today. It’s below freezing.”
Kid: “I’m fine.”
Me: “Please put on pants and long sleeves.”
Him: (mumbling about his choice, and pretending to not hear me)
Me: Stop and have a conversation now!”
Kid: “I’ll just wear my winter coat all day!”
Me: “You get sweaty and don’t pay attention because you’re too hot.”
Kid: “I can pay attention.”
Me: “I can ask your teacher afterwards if you took your coat off during class.”
Kid: (racing up to the bedroom to get clothes) “No, no, no; don’t do that!”
So funny to inverse the roles guys! But being able to keep your playfull kid side as an adult while being able to let kids be kids while learn from their way to see and enjoy life for the beauty of the moment makes being alive so much more meaningful.
Thanks guys for being that way and sharing it... much needed these days! What is real is us, not what is presented around for all to believe while forgetting who we are!
Big hug of love, love always wins!
💙💓💙🤗
This is the best video ever. So relatable
Little Penn is so cute. He's great in this role
My kid is 10 now, and is like this every evening and most school mornings. I feel ya!
Sunny... producer, director, and STAR!
Yes
Your son is a natural star!
This was cute. You should have one with Lola being Kim.
Being that Lola is a teen now, I don't think her morning routine is as hectic as it was when she was younger; so that might be why they haven't done a Lola/Kim version. That's my guess at least. 😊
THIS IS HYSTERICAL!!!!
Ha ha ha ha
The only thing missing is the “child” complaining that he’s being rushed, and how he’s never told what the “parent” wants and how unfair it is 😂 this of course should be at the end of the video 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ 🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸
The son-as-dad in the driver’s seat was already so funny and then-“I’m orbiting the Earth”-that’s when I laughed out loud!
This is the TRUEST THING ON THE INTERNET! Do you sneak into my house every morning???
Epic! There are so many “Yup! Exactly!” moments in this video!
I love when he says: I’m orbiting the earth daddy!!
I was not first,
I was not last,
but most importantly,
This video was too true, too fast
I was first hahahahah😁😇
I don't know how I missed this one, but it's totally spot on, LOL!! 5 boys still at home, all in different grades, and SO much this!! 😁🤦🤷
" Did you enjoy being in the drivers seat?" "I enjoyed messing with you!" LOL classic
1. PC is going to be a fantastic parent if he decides to have children.
2. I'm 27 and jealous that PC has a locker in his bedroom.
