No matter how much you train a dog, they are always as innocent and tender, loving and authentic as toddlers. They are pure souls and that’s why we love them so much.
I totally like my dogs more than people. My dogs are always happy to see me. They never complain. They're never too tired or too grouchy to give love. And they act like everything I do is newsworthy. Plus they protect me when I'm in the bathroom. Nobody else does that!🐾🐾💕
My dog complains quite a bit. She's actually a drama queen. If we're in the car and we're not on a road which leads to the dog park or a favourite walk, she'll whine and throw herself dramatically down on the seat in disgust.
My Corgi understands every word that comes out of my mouth------my husband doesn't. 🙄 Of course I am never angry or short with my furbaby & I love dogs in general more than people!!

I think it's an introvert thing. If I went to a party (pre covid, of course) I always end up finding the dog within minutes and end up in a corner reading a book with the dog.
Istj meyer briggs personality here.. and can totally relate. Even at family gatherings.. Kids: off doing there thing. Hubby and brothers: playing football or watching it Sister in laws: gathered in kitchen talking. Me: In the living room on the couch with my brother's black lab.. watching TV, on my phone or reading while petting and snuggling with the dog. Same thing at my own house except curled up with my kitty.
I actually bought my sister a 2 tees. The first says “I’m only talking to my dog today “ the second says “ I like my dog and maybe 3 people “. I had to get on her good list somehow. 😂
My almost 8 year old ask me once who’s her favorite and without skipping a beat I said “Dolly is my favorite.” Dolly is the golden retriever. She doesn’t wake me up, she doesn’t open the door while I’m in the bathroom, and she is the most excited thing when you come in no matter if it’s been 5 mins or 5 days. She is stoked to see ya.
My adult kids tell me I do more activities with my dog than I ever did with them! We'll, maybe I do and maybe it's because my dog is ALWAYS happy to go anywhere with me and never complains if I have to change the plan at the last minute😄

I don't say this in public in real life because more people in my real life care to judge you on the fact you care more about animals than humans but I have found my own peeps on here. I am proud of loving animals more than humans, humans are pretty much the reason this world is going to pot (and yes, I am probably part of the problem) but still, as much as I do love that 5% of the worlds population I still prefer animals. They know how to live in this world and not destroy it and only kill each other if need be, the majority of time they take care if their young etc, they are far better at being human than we are, we could learn so much from them.
This had me dying by 1:39... and loving it until the end... SO RELATABLE IN MY HH... My husband and I joke that I feed our dogs better than him (custom food, farm sourced (majority of our food but also for our dogs), pampered to have the best health and longevity as we learn from the past health issues). I've trained my dogs but we have an understanding on boundaries.. Cuddles Rule! Doggie asking to be rocked is a regular thing! We actually got new rocking chairs 2yrs ago to be more comfortable rocking them. We have many custom songs and a few books for them too. They love to be engaged in people activities. Great Job on the skits!
1:56 - I call the dog “my little fluffer nutter” too. 😲🙂. When I saw that, I was like “right?” I’m not the only one! This is a natural nickname for our furry friends! 😁 inspired by the very catchy name for the sandwich made of peanut butter and marshmallow fluff.

Hm. A family dog does help with mental health though. Even if you could be doing things better, training, enforcement, etc. AND treating your humans better, having a sweet furry companion to care for and care about that takes you out of your head, out of yourself and into the the moment and positivity and love, exercise and a unique companionship has all kinds of (selfish but good selfish) benefits. This is good for everyone but especially good for people who deal with the things Kim and many, many people deal with - possibly being an infj Meyers Briggs type, introvert, a little ocd, anxiety/depressive, etc. unfortunately or fortunately, dogs like sunny - sunny dogs like Sunny 🙂 - are very important to have around. Sure people can become better pet parents / owners, but the degree to do that is a personal call everyone needs to make for themselves (if they’re at least baseline good and responsible owners) and one thing at a time. The important takeaway for me in this video is to appreciate how much love these bundles of fur can provide and improve all our lives with. They come with their problems, sure - and expenses and necessary compatible lifestyle, and work and time and effort, and you can’t take them everywhere you go or travel, but if you can afford and manage to have a dog / and have a compatible lifestyle for a dog (they take time and effort s little like children), then they can add immeasurable happiness to life in general. Dog and animal lovers everywhere might really like the books by Ted Kerasote “Merle’s Door” and “Pukka”. Stories about a man and his dog/s and their lives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and their adventures in nature that have you wishing we could all live like that.

Sunny looks like a golden retriever. My sister has one of these, a male named Scout, and he's so gentle and happy. My sister didn't need to train him that much. She really only needed to make sure he didn't knock down small children when he is excited about something. I also thought that Sunny looked annoyed at Kim in some parts of this video. But not when she had the treats.
My 11-year-old son is mine & will be as long as he wants to be! And I think the love between a mother & son is THE most natural, normal thing in the world! I have an older one, too- so I know it changes & that’s ok. But I will never turn down a snuggle from either of my boys. (And once in awhile, I force a hug on them when they’re not feeling it, haha. Grumpy teenagers won’t act like they want love, but they still need it sometimes!) Nothing wrong with a parent showing love for their child!! They need all the love we can give them.
