Hope you enjoy this fun little travel vlog around Vancouver. It was enjoyable messing around a little with this one. Please give a like on the video above and let us know any thoughts.
Don't skip on Manila in the Philippines as other youtubers do. But if you are short on time yes, go directly to El Nido and Coron ( Both in Palawan ) If you want to go a little off the beaten path go to Batanes or or the mountain town of SAGADA ! Good luck on your 6 month journey. I admire your cajones!!!
Oh if you go to Malaysia. Ipoh is worth a visit, Kek Look Tong - Buddhist Temple was pretty impressive. Better than Batu caves in KL in my opinion. Garden was fantastic. There are some cool bars around Concubine lane too, especially Kiki lalat, which has thier own brewed beers and a coconut based drink called Todi. We liked it anyway 😎
❤ it! You always give me that feeling of being there with you, travelling with you ( in a very eco friendly way) . Also, the Englishman should not stop talking 'cause he is funny as well as informative . Looking forward to joining you on your Asia trip :)
Fantasic vlog on the best city in the world. What other city offers access to sea and mountains, warm welcoming people and amazing food and then there is the wildlife. ❤❤❤ Next time take the sea plane to Tofino. You won’t regret it😊😊😊😊😊
As a Seattlite, Vancouver really is our second home. We love the entire area and travel up there several times a year. Yes, Whistler is wonderful - you should go!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed your ride on Harbour Air. They are a fantastic company and support the seaplane company my son worked for here, Kenmore Air, as a connecting flight. Vancouver would definitely be a place I would move. ❤
Very fun video - with lots of great info as always. Looks stunning and it's definitely just upped on my bucket list. With the definite twist of next steps at the end 😮 looking forward to seeing what videos come from that!!! ❤
Such a beautiful city! I also heard there are loads of hiking trails and places to practice winter sports fairly close to the city.. it definitely looks like a place with a great life quality
This a brief report that for me delivers an appealing and tasteful description of some of the delights of Vancouver, Only ever travelled to and stayed in Toronto I love the space of a Canadian city and this one begs further exploration< I hope your trip to Asia works out for you, we all need to be allowed to go as we please and enjoy the world we live in. I really do wish you well and hope it is good, Meanwhile, for this person I do enjoy the work you produce and I Hope we hear from you both in the days ahead, Safe travels and a wonderful experience,
Vancouver looks gorgeous- definitely gonna try visit there and Banff in the next year or two. Your trip sounds amazing, would love to see Malaysia and ... well all of it! Have the best time - you'll never regret taking a leap like this 😊
Another cracking vlog, thank you. And bon voyages! An excellent itinerary. I've just come back from Indonesia, love Singers, and Malaysia. Looking forward to seeing your travels.
Wonderful vlog! So thrilled that Malaysia … my home country is on your Asia trip list! Love that you’re taking the leap…here’s wishing you and Chiaki a memorable time!
I subscribed during the pandemic and Suitcase Monkey has become my fave travel channel since then. I’ve always wondered if you’d visit the Philippines. Hopefully you’ll make it to the islands! More power to your channels!❤
Can't wait for your new year travel project! Thank you for living the life I cannot while taking me along. Best wishes I see your channel growing leaps and bounds, but stay grounded, money does not make you rich, but a well lived life will. Good for you.
Very exciting about your one way flight, lots of adventures ahead! You definitely need to be doing videos on every single travel/trip you do, if you want to be doing this full time.
Another enjoyable video to watch and it really does make me want to visit! When in Singapore, make sure you make lots of videos of ALL THE FOOD! Satay, chicken rice, mee pok tah, char kway teow, mee siam, mee rebus, oh, the list is endless. Go to an authentic food court in the HDB heartlands (eg Clementi), not the air-conditioned ones. Enjoy!
@@CarryOnMonkeyWell, it’s when you said ‘if you always do what you’ve always done you’ll always get what you’ve always got’ and that you wanted to shake things up a bit! I interpreted that as you being a bit bored with your routine …a routine which doesn’t come across as routine to me with your many great trips! Maybe I interpreted it wrongly?
@arriesone1 hey. I certainly didn’t mean that. Over a 12 month period UA-cam sees maybe 6 weeks of our lives. The best 6 weeks. So I’m referring to the day to day 46 weeks where our lives are slightly dull and repetitive like most people’s (I assume ha). So we want to shake life up a little and go outside our comfort zone and break the routine
@@CarryOnMonkey ah ok Monkey I got it wrong, sorry. Hope you both have a wonderful time in Asia. I’ve done Hong Kong and Malaysia many years ago, wonderful places. True, our holidays are probably the best part of any year although I also cherish being at home ☺️
How did you come up with the name of your channel "Suitcase Monkey," especially the monkey part--are you born in the year of the monkey or something? First again, another highly informative and enjoyable vd. Thanks as always.

Thanks for the tip. Any particular area in Manila? It’ll definitely be less than 6 months 😅
Obviously here for the travel vlogs but your sense of humour is the icing on the cake for me 😁👍

Can't wait for the new videos of Asia!!!
What a leap. Life is short so all the risks Of leaving and doing what you want to is worth a shot. Love the presentation of your videos .
Thank you
Such a beautiful city! I also heard there are loads of hiking trails and places to practice winter sports fairly close to the city.. it definitely looks like a place with a great life quality
Yeah if I had more time I’d definitely be venturing into the surrounding mountains.
Three ski hills in the city limits, loads of mountain biking trails and endless hiking.
Excellent!!!

Thank you. Yes it is a little daunting but looking forward to it!
If you have the money, there's a luxury train you can take between Banff & Vancouver. There are two levels of service if you need to be economical
Best of luck on your exciting adventure to Asia! 🎉
Great video as always! Excited for all the traveling you have planned! 😍 Safe travels!
Thank you
Congratulations Paul and Chiaki on your Asian adventures ahead. Please do update. That is much closer to us in Melbourne to fly over to!

It does not. That’s why I don’t make as many videos as I “should”
Very exciting about your one way flight, lots of adventures ahead! You definitely need to be doing videos on every single travel/trip you do, if you want to be doing this full time.
I’m full time already! 😀

so excited for your Asia trip ! please consider dropping by Hong Kong, would love to catch up with Chiaki and meet you for the first time :) Belinda
Sounds great!
Looking rather gangsta in the thumbnail!
So Jordan, Sri Lanka, Canada, Morocco were all too run-of-the-mill?!? You’re one fortunate guy!
Where did you get that from?

It just sounded good lol
Am I the only one who can only play this in 480p max?
Let’s hope so!
