"Wow, this new Sony camera is indeed producing great results! The footage is sharp, vibrant, and incredibly cinematic-you really showcased its potential quite well!"
To anyone watching . Everything you see on the screen can be achieved with a much much much cheaper camera . Its skills that makes a cinematic video not the camera
Probably you can't achieve if you don't know how to edit, colour grading, sound recording etc. Also how to use s-logs, do you have to set it in camera before you start to shoot or edit it with software after shooting the film? Asking these questions as a dummy myself I enjoy watching content creators on UA-cam. Is it too hard to learn all of these things?
Love the intro and love how you used some music with Ram Das talking. Nice job. I am slo so exited for both that are ordered. I shoot now on a a9 and ready for some more juice.
This camera can do 4k120, even 8k. Meanwhile you can't even take a photo on the fx6, and the a1 does 30fps RAW photos with preshooting, idk what you're on if you think the fx6 is more of a deal. It's just two different devices for two different purposes.
@@jammaschanpeople REALLY don’t understand prices when it comes to comparison. Comparing this to an Fx6 is like saying you can get a motorcycle cheaper than a car. The FX6 comes with no screen, can’t take a PHOTO, is not exactly compact, requires a ton of accessories to kit it out. The A1ii may be overpriced, but it’s priced to be an ALL-IN-ONE, best at none.
@nickwilliams5967 I mean all you technically need for an fx6 is a lens, but yea to say an a1 is overpriced compared to an fx6 is like saying your violin is overpriced compared to your shotgun. (The a1 is still crazy good at everything. I think a channel called fulltime filmmaker just shot a demo video in the a1ii and if you tell me the fx6's images look better than it you're just plain lying.) Edit: just in case anyone think I don't know which channel I'm commenting on, I do.
Great Video!! 🎉 Question: When are full frame cameras going to adopt what cell phones and action camera have with stabilization. I don’t ever want to buy a gimbal if a full frame can stabilize like a GoPro or iPhone. Nobody ever talks about this and I wonder why. 🤨
That’s a great point. Although cell phones and action cameras now feature advanced stabilization-mostly digital and often enhanced with software-full-frame cameras face unique challenges. Their larger sensors make stabilization more complex, and while in-body stabilization (IBIS) is improving, achieving truly smooth movement still often requires a gimbal. Hopefully, future advancements will bring us closer to GoPro or iPhone-level stabilization in full-frame cameras! 🤞
Cause it’s not natural. I understand your point, but these cameras have a very unique style, and adding stabilization like gopro would ruin that in a sense.
@@fulltimefilmmaker all my Nisi true color filters give me a crazy magenta shift at max. The polarpro helix maglock has an 86 version with minimal color shift.
Amazing content. You have inspired me to create videos as this. Just a quick quextion - how did you get the voiceover? AI or real person. And how did you make it sound like this?
Why do UA-camrs hide important info and major flaws of a camera like this ?Like you can’t even shoot oversampled 4k 24p. 8k overheats in 20 mins and too big of file sizes. If you want nicer quality 4k, your only option is to shoot in 8k and place it on a 4k timeline like he did in this video to hide the low quality pixel binned 4k in this video. Nikon Z8 or the R5ii seem like much better value for the money.
Hey Landon, can you help me out here for a sec? Your format for the UA-cam screen- what is it? I was wondering because if I rotate the cell phone to watch full screen, I see the ftf logo on the bottom right. But the format changes when I rotate it back and the logo is out is screen. Did you sort of upload in a super wide format with a box inside where the video is? Or does UA-cam automatically rescale?
Damn that's clean!!! You did the best way to show how good the image quality is and did not slap a shitty grain effect and shitty film look overrated colour grade. Thanks!
As a current A1 owner, I don’t see the value in upgrading. I would like pre capture but don’t want to lose $3k in the process assuming I can even get $4k for my current one.
Idk man it’s like more reasonable to sell it at the same price of the first edition. It’s more logical and they should keep it more price competitive with the z9 and r5mkii. R5mkii seems like more of a bang for the buck
Not at all worth this is epic fail for that price 😢 plz not not at all talking about ur work to be noted u did same quality of work with other cameras also I think Nikon well a head in pre record
24/30 fps at 8K
Sir price this camera in INR
550k rupees. Just google bro. Its cost 7.5k dollars in my country
@jaketheman7402 thanks 👍
422 10bit? Or 8bit?

A breathtaking cinematic sequence is all we need before diving into the main content.
Your channel has the most refined key lit talking heads I've ever seen. I'm sick of people blowing their faces out.
All Specifications in one video! Excellent Video 👌🏻 🙌🏼
Glad you liked it!
So much talon in this crew! I love every minute of it.. Thank you for everything you do
Watching this like i can afford anything they are talking about
You will . I promise
Right? Lol
😭
Amazing man... Love this

Gorgeous footage and content. What a great way - a real life situation. Well done, thank you.
Great Video! the colors are incredible Bryson!🔥
Beautiful footage! That lens looks sick!

Always stuning
The Man behind the gun 🔥

What is the blurred edges effect going on here? Gives it almost an anamorphic vibe..
very cinematic footage
Brilliant video
Was all of your footage hand held? How’d you get it so smooth in post?
Always know FTF gonna shoot the sickest footage with any camera.
We appreciate that!
You mentioned about stabilization, is it build in stabilization in the camera ? So you shoot without a gimbal ? Sorry, didn't get it from the video 🤔
Hi bro, your videos are awsome🎉🎉🎉
I'm a Sony fanboy, but pricing this thing at the price of the FX6 is insanity.
It honestly makes sense. 8k video in the tiny body and 50 mp; its the perfect hybrid.

Why nobody is using it with dedicated video camera sensor for video?
Like with a7siii
or any FX camera (i am not talking about apsc FX30)
We love FTF
We love you ❤️
was hoping to find actual compare r5ii with a1ii.
what is that cap/filter thing that you had on the end of the lens while you were filming?
Just looks like some sort of ND filter.
The silver looks like a nisi true colour vnd
1:11 its because us, your 2.1 million subscribers. you are legend.
( Canon EOS R1 Vs Sony Apha 1 ii ) Which one is best ????
Did you film that in one day?
What do you use as an ND?
maybe on day i can buy my camera🎉❤
I would buy the A1 mk ii if it had 8K 60p but as it is I'll keep my A1.
Sony needs to start innovating again give us a F1.8 canon did that 6-7 years ago
Bro... its amazing... 😮😮😮 do you mind telling me what was your shutterspeed throughout??
great video ... is there ACTIVE IBIS an option when shooting 8k ?

@ 🤨 Options are great for those of us that want them.
What do u think about fx3 vs this camera
One is a video camera, one is a photography camera with great video functions. If you’re filming, get an fx3 or fx6.
Sony blasts Canon Out of the water with this lens
Awesome man! What ND did you use on this lens? Does it have a course thread like the Canon 28-70 F2?
We used the Nisi True Color VND but had to tape it on because we didn’t have a big enough filter for it at the time 😂

I’ll stick with iPhone log
Great video! What kind of filter were you using on the lens? It’s silver in the bts shots. I’m guessing ND + mist but I’m curious!

Dang, this camera is Strong AF

i told myself to stay strong untill Sony comes with a 24-105mm f2.8, but.. but this is nice though :3
No h.265 at 25/50/100 fps. No display luts for the a1 v1. Sony, this is bad. You are messing around with your pro target group.
For anyone complaining about the 4k being subsampled, here's proof that you're just complaining for the sake of complaining.
RED komodo x 16.5 stops of dynamic range same price global shutter 16 bit raw 😂 not gonna lie I'd rather pull a still and have all that
30 fps RAW 😰
id say 2.1M subscribers is how you " got on this list" lol

Same with mirrorless, Sony did it way ahead of Nikon that's why they ask Sony to make their sensors. Stop whining!
