    Great video! I like the idea of using cutting boards to slide the wheels. I saw another video where a guy used two sheets of aluminum and spread some axle grease between them to get them to slide.

    old school was front wheel drive needed toe out and rear wheel drive needed toe in to allow for directional force.

    Only real way to tell is the tire wear , camber can be done also , a flat piece of metal with a level gauge,

    Your fundamentals are good but the execution is questionable. This is so unsafe using old pallets to hold up your car. The 4 corners of your string square need to be perfectly square for an accurate measurement and try using millimetres. Use stacked plastic cutting boards under your tires so they slide better than on cardboard. Better yet spend the $80 and get a basic alignment.

      As I'm sure you saw, there was extra lumber under tires to make it safer. I like the idea of plastic cutting boards. Having to adjust the steering every time was the most aggravating part of it. Also the point of doing this was that I didn't have the $80.00 to spend on an alignment, but I do have the time and the will to try it myself.
