Slovenia: The Great Soča Gorge, Vršič Pass & Lake Jasna

We are having so much fun exploring Slovenia, with each day seeming to be a new adventure. On this day we had the opportunity to explore some of the Great Soča Gorge, with its beautiful blue water and waterfalls. We only wish we had more time to explore the various trails along its expanse. On the way to Lake Jasna, we decided to drive over the Vršič Pass, which is the highest pass in Slovenia and also the highest in the eastern Julian Alps. There were some truly breathtaking views of the mountains from up here and we even got to see some cows roaming the mountainside. After the most amazing lunch at Brunarica Kosobrin (which is a must try in Kranjska Gora), we ended the day walking around and taking a dip in Lake Jasna. The views of the mountains from the lake were amazing and we only wish we had gotten here earlier in the day as there were so many places to swim, paddleboard, eat, and picnic.

try going to slovenia skiing at winter ,its very beautiful but this year we think that we wont get much snow

I'm sure it's beautiful in winter! We have never been skiing but it's something we would love to try someday, maybe when our kids are a little older
