Definitely Europe’s undiscovered gem
Super again!
Absolutely stunning photography and editing. The sun and the blue skies added so much to the views. But at 4:34, that view took my breath away. Thank you for taking us along the journey.
Nature's Cathedral. Thank you for taking us on this beautiful trip. Thank you for the beautiful music as well. I knew you were a classy gent from the first.
Aww shucks, thank you.
Dougal actually looking as if he enjoyed that, it was pretty amazing wasn't it, what an incredible planet we live on, you take care and of course I do mean both of you, especially Dougal, enjoy
Breathtakingly beautiful and spot on choice of music too. 💖
Cycled that in 2007 and camped in the same spot. Very beautiful and unspoilt, you can (could) drink straight from the Soca
Simply awesome, music everything was stunning.....thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Absolutely stunning. Thanks to you both for sharing.
Fantastique j'espère y retourner mais pour l'instant la vie en décide autrement. Merci pour ce moment de bonheur que tu me procure.
J t' en prie, merci à toi.

Breathless, thank you for sharing this.
All Andrew's videos are fantastic but this one is beyond fantastic, Brilliant photography in a stunning country/location. Well done Andrew, and Carado for lending the Van.
Gotta do this on the BMW that’s for sure, stunning, love the music too 👍🏼
What breath taking scenery 😱😘
In the words of Al Green...Simply Beautiful 😀
Thank you so much Andrew for filming that, it was absolutely amazing! Such stunning scenery.
Hi Andrew, I can’t express how amazing this vlog was to watch, hats off to you for your content.
Thank you Ken!
Wow, you lucky boys😀 Awesome drive, I cant believe we didnt get to see that all those years ago on our honeymoon . Thanks for sharing your journeys.
Safe travels
Beautiful and a great choice of music! xx
That was very well done Andrew
Breathtakingly beautiful. 🐕
Simply stunning. Who could possibly give this one a thumbs down! Thanks as always for another great video Andrew (and Dougal of course).
Absolutely amazing scenery. A must see which is now on my list.
Thanks heaps. 💖
Beyond stunning . Not a lot else you can say , great vid thank you .
Slovenia is so beautiful. We eloped there last year and spent two weeks driving around - dying to go back! X
You and me both Cassie!
Stunning! Thank you for sharing, Andrew!
Absolutely stunning scenery. I live in Japan and central Japan has scenery very, very, very similar to this. I noted that the curves were numbered, just as they are here. This kind of scenery is what has in part kept me in Japan for close on 30 years.
The scenery where you are traveling though is like Dreamtime, so utterly beautiful, lucky you Andrew and Dougal!! And as usual, thanks for posting your travels.
Hi Andrew and Dougal. WOW oh WOW That was absolutely the most amazing journey ever ,I was glued to the screen & great choice of music ,I will have to send this 1 to friends, I think I will watch it again! Thank you for sharing this , looking forward to next Vlog
Thanks Ann!
The views were lovely, Andrew what a great share. Thanks J&P
At last I’ve seen an Eidelveiss! Been singing about it long enough 🤣
Wow absolutely stunning
Just love how well beautifully presented your videos are and time taken to do a professional job and decent music. Your really going to get me motorhoming soon.
fantastic trip, envy and I would like to go to Slovenia and that I have invited those from Adria but for another year will be.
Enjoy the trip that we do with your videos.
waiting for the next one !! good trip friend
What an amazing and beautiful drive. A few scary bits are more than made up for by the scenery! Thanks for sharing :-)
Fabulous were heading up the pass at the end of August cant wait. 😃
Enjoy! It's stunning :)
What a drive! AMAZING! We loved watching that, and you've taken some fantastic photographs.
That was amazing!
An amazing country. Took our t4 a few years ago. One of our best holidays.
Hi there wow what fantastic scenery youve certainly shown it off well. I think you can safely say that you and dougal have got a fantastic room with a view. Enjoy love Louise Craig and scamp xx
I was there with you, every second of this video- amazing filming and music. What a beautiful country! Wowee!
Hi Andrew, Yes indeed this part of the world is truely beautiful, & with little to no one else around!
Besides the fabulous views, your choice in backround music really compliments the video!
You're a talented fellow Andrew! You have a natural likeability, a special quality not common in most!
Dougal, a true joy, star!
👬🍌😮🌋😘
Aww, thanks Bob :)
Wow. Wow. And wow again. Thanks for sharing Mr D. X
Beautiful & inspirational. Thank you for sharing your journey x
OMG, that was gorgeous. Definitely a slow drive, especially in those areas where half the road is gone, eep.
Glad you made it to your campsite. I'd take a day to recover from that drive. Looking forward to your next posting.
All I can say is wow
What can one say! Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for the drive ;-)
Thanks so much for
Sharing your journey with Dougal! we are going Croatia and Slovenia in our
Motorhome in September ... so looking forward to the adventure!
You'll LOVE it! :)
Those hills look like real clutch burners!
What a nice ride ! I’m looking forward to do it with my Vespa
Just simply WOW
Wow those mountains and the colour of the water in the river were just amazing 😮... I would have had a heart attack at those sheer drops though (Helen). What an amazing trip your are having, we are loving the vlogs x
Cheers Helen!
Good job Andrew...and good job Slovenian highway maintenance folks. That road looks like it would be a chore to clear up after snow season’s many rock slides.
Whew! I don't know about you, but I'm worn out after those hairpin curves across the mountains. Let's enjoy the view for a day. 😉😎. What amazing scenery!
Great video Andrew. Stunning scenery. Wow! I loved the music aswellit went so well with the landscape. Stunning.
WOW, that's just gone on my "must visit" list now. Thanks for sharing, maybe get James to send the drone up once you meet up, it'd be great to see aerial shots of this scenery.
Sadly it's not permitted in Slovenia :(
That's such a shame. 😔
Actually it is permitted but only for drones that weight up to 500 grams, and the pass name Vršič is pronounced as Vr(sh)i(ch).. Greetings from Slovenia!!
...but my understanding is that you are allowed to fly but not capture any images or video. But my Mavic is over 500g anyway... :-/
Ahh, thats a lovely vlog to watch on a lazy Monday morning. I'm late to the party once again, nicely done Mr D, Nicely done.
When you said " We've got the decent down" -- is that in contrast to a decent that goes up? Ha, Ha! (just some friendly teasing. not Trolling). Boy, you really want to climb those winding roads (set so close to the edge) very slowly and very carefully -- especially with the weight of a camper van. Those were some gorgeous views. It relaxes me to see them. It's amazing that you were actually able to drive up so-o-o-o high and so close to the very top of the mountains. Dougal looks so relieved to be back at the base of the mountains... maybe he doesn't really do heights. Thanks so much for sharing, Andrew.... that was super ccol.
The best mountain driving I’ve seen yet! Nice background music.
Thank you so much Andrew for taking us along on these wonderful journeys. The videos are so perfect I feel like I'm there with you. I really admire people who can do all these things on their own. I'd love to have that confidence! I might try getting the bus to town soon lol .(still can't drive yet since the stroke - awaiting decision from DVLA). -Lin xx
Thanks Lin. And don't rush things... we have to listen to what our bodies are telling us. xx
Wow- that looks incredible. Definitely adding that to the list for our Croatia/ Greece tour next year. 👍👍Great video Andrew- thanks for inspiring.
You will LOVE the roads on the bikes, Kat! :)
I can believe it. We might never leave....!
Oh wow, it looks incredible! We can't wait to head here later in the year :D
Wow! Amazing!!!
Only one word for that FABULOUS X
Stunning Andrew Stunning
Stunning views - Can't help but notice the road surface seemed to change on the bends from tarmac to what looked like cobbles?
You are correct! My only guess is to slow down traffic on the bends.
Thanks - up here in Aberdeen when we had cobbled streets and it rained they were lethal with no grip so it puzzled me why they were on the corners in your video.
Able to withstand wear, pressure, weather? Easy for maintenance? Relics from the past? Decades ago there was just macadam and those granite cobbles on the bends.
Amazing scenery. Great vid.
What a road did you only meet one other van other than motor bikes. Once again great scenery. Love the music. Thanks look forward to the next episode.
A wee bit of traffic Brian, but slowing down to pass kind of interrupts the flow...
Stunning Andrew. Thanks
Great video. Amazing really. Snow drifts each side of the road yet the road has been kept perfectly clear. An inch of snow in the UK and the whole country grinds to a halt.
Just catching up Andrew. Been up at Braemar for three days. I didn't switch on any technology. Once again brilliant. Thanks for the content.
Amazing! Thanks for sharing.
Amazing drive Andrew. You are so living the dream. The mountain views are spectacular. And you got great weather too. I think even Dougal is impressed...lol.
Excellent footage. Keep em coming............Andy 👍👍👍
That’s the right music!!!
Beautiful
So beautiful Andrew love it!
Hey man, Its really cool to see someone do this:) I go to Kranjska Gora every month and its just beautiful, new things to discover
Lucky you - such a beautiful town and area! :)
Excellent video. Looks like you could be driving in Colorado. Thank you for the ride along.
Spectacular scenery. Thanks for capturing it for us to enjoy. Also, is it my imagination, this van doesn't seem to rattle as much as the one you had in January.
I'm getting better at packing! The other one didn't rattle either, but my junk did ;@)
WOW! Stunning!
Love all your videos
Thank you sir from kentucky.that was great and I just slapped the subscribe button.one of the best vids I've seen thanks again and be safe .peace
Thanks David, and welcome aboard!
Great drive, we will definately want your route, so we can do it next year
That's a good idea for a blog post, thanks for that Ian!
SLOVENIJA ❤️
Impressive! Certainly well worth a visit, here in Latvia the highest peak is 300 mtrs! They call steep inclines mountains LOL, I think I need to share this to show what real mountains look like ;)
152 km in a day! Wow, once I get mobile I'm looking at fifteen km a day maximum :) And, certainly no mountain passes!
THAT was Fantastic!!
Greetings from Macclesfield Andrew,visual poetry...just stunning,fab music too.👍😁👍
Wow,amazing indeed!!
Simply awesome! 👏
Lovely. That pretty much covers it. I understand the short distance to long time ratio. Looking at a map sometimes you have the tendency to say "That is only the distance of my thumb!" At the end of the day it appears that the thumb has grown weary.
Brilliant! Looks a little bit like Canada.
