Ivar: "When *we* go to England"
Ragnar: "That is what i said"
Ivar: "What use is a cripple on such a journey!"
Ragnar: "Ohh then don't come"
Ivar: "Don't tell me what to do!"
Ragnar: "Then come"
Ivar: "No........Not unless you ask me like you asked my brothers"
Ragnar: "..............Iva-"
Ivar: "Of course I'll come"
- I love this part
Tribute Films Why is there a cut at the end?
Why did they change his personality hate this new Ivar who got nothing in his heart except hate of course he was always special and had a lust for blood but he wasn't truly evil until he started murdering people for no reason and treating his own brothers like hvitserk like shit.
Gustaf because this is based on the sagas, and in such sagas, Ivar the Boneless was a TYRANT.
Not every great Viking leader was noble as Ragnar Lothbrok you know?
Fact of the matter is that Ivar the Boneless was a great and feared Viking commander despite being a cripple. He overcame his condition (which some say, might’ve been really “osteogenesis imperfecta”) and was a master of strategy and tactics in battle.
@@EduardoRodriguez-kb4gj You clearly never read the sagas. I'm fully aware that this is based on old norse poetry.
I have read them myself since I was 12 years old, I live in Sweden. I heard about these stories when I was younger then 6 years old.
I know what I'm talking about.
Ivar was no cripple according to the sagas.
He had brittle bones disease in the tv series.
In real life he was said to be really tall and he is the oldest brother in the old norse poetry. Ivar and his brothers raided England together, Ivar never became a megalomaniac tyrant.
He is no tyrant in the sagas either. Ivar is cruel to his enemies(christians) but not to his own brothers.
Gustaf dude you just hate this version is Ivar the Boneless because it doesn’t fit your concept of a Viking. The show really romanticize a lot about the Viking culture yet shows you some of the most visceral aspects from time to time.
Plus we haven’t even seen the whole story on him.
It’s like when Ragnar went through that dark period and consumed drugs and killed the Asian girl, I still liked his character.
this scene was so cute
Sometimes, I like Ivar more than any of the other brothers.
It was this moment that ragnar realised of all his sons Ivar is the most like him
T.L.D ubbe is like him in the ''good'' person side
+Quinn Dang why u spoiling keep yo crusty mouth shut
Zephany Masga he has a crusty ass cumragged mouth
ivar inherited the ruthless side of ragnar, ubbe inherited the compassionate side, bjorn inherited the curiosity, hvitserk inherited the playfulness, and sigurd i have no idea lol
@@nou2880 Sigurd inherited his death
"Then dont come"
"Dont tell me what to do"
"Then come"
harris ahmad no.
Like talking to a woman
Just chillin' with my dad.
Ivar The Boneless Go Blood Eagle Lagertha and Take Trovi as Your Slave !!!
kushagra bhardwaj I hope he does!!!!
Go kill the btch lagertha!
Hahaha. Yeah
@@starcloudyzen165 hhhhhh she is dead
I love this Ivar.. the gentle and kind one that he is when he is with people that he loves and cares about.. but berserker always angry Ivar is cool too lmao
His dad also told him, before his death, to lean into the anger and that he would be nothing without it.
ivar, inherited his mind and ruthless.
Seems so
Ivar is even more cunning and ruthless than his father.
Beni Habibi true 👀
Feel like Ivar’s disability elevated his mind way beyond Ragnar’s level
@@jokerman9295 lol No Ragnar is like a prophet.......Ivar is just a smartypants while Ragnar's Mindset and Reasoning ability is another Level.Ragnar was always a step ahead of everyone the only thing he realized he did wrong was being Merciful and it hurt him (Rollo, Jarl Borg, Ecbert etc....) So he didn't want Ivar to Make the same Mistakes so he mold Ivar into becoming better than him by being ruthless cause being too merciful will hurt you.
''Of course I'll come''
OMFG I LOVE IVAR
josek me too!
@@trishahunter5 not anymore :/
not anymore :/
@@savitarr1162 lol...I still Love Ivar. I know he is being a complete nutcase right now, but I'm just a loyal chic! Lol. If his ship go down I'm going with him. Btw, I don't like at all the way Michael Hirst has Ivar's character going. It really piss me off that they have him thinking he's a God! Ivar is too smart for that crap! But, I love him no matter what. Fact!
@@trishahunter5 i mean, i just hate it that all the best characters gets manipulates by a side character, they ruined ragnar with it, first with the priest, he bacame soft, then after with the chinese girl, made him drug addicted and crazy, now they do the same with ivar :/
Ivar the Boneless is the most like Ragnar. His father knows it, but he dosent show it as much. Since he is the cripple of the family but he is also the most rutheless and most feared viking warrior commander
Nah, ivar is not nothing like ragnar
@@othmanehaldaoui Considering everything he achieved, yes he was. He was just more ruthless (Ragnar did tell him to be ruthless). He even had a christian friend to an extend just like Ragnar, even if it wasn't exactly the same you still should see the parallels the writers are trying draw.
I wished we had more moments between these two.
For real, the episodes with both of them and Egbert on screen were absolute gold
Yeah
Ivar's actor is doing such a fantastic job in Vikings! It is hard to believe that this is his first professional acting role.
''Iva..
Of course I'll come'' Love Ivar!
They are a lot alike! Best show ever!
90% percent of the acting in Vikings is better than game of thrones
a T.V show is simply not worth watching if there ain't no dragons in it.
90% is high, i would say 20% better.
Ragnar, floki and ecbert are the best but ragnar is far superior than any actor in any tv series. GG travis
But in general GOT story and events are far better than vikings but in term of acting they have very good actors such as tyrion and cersei.
The only actor in GoT than can be on the same par is Tyrion Lannistor...
Characters like Tyrion, cersi, jamie, Tywin, Davos, Robb, catelyn and Ned say otherwise. The actors playing them are fantastic.
mijan hoque and Theon's Alfie Allen.
Based on the look on Ragnar’s face, I would say that this scene was improvised, and Alex went off-script, God I love when that happens
In what part?
Ragnars 4 main sons (sorry Sigurd) all resemble him perfectly. Hvitserk was the addict and the animal on the battlefield. Ubbe was the explorer. Bjorn was the leader/ruler/king. Ivar was the ruthless dictator, and the tactical mastermind.
Bjorn was not a leader.
Bjorn aka bitch tits aka deadbeat father aka mommy’s boy was not a king
YEAH, I knew Ivar was best!
Peter H no he didn’t he only picked ivar cuz there’s was no one else left to go with him
He was the only son to snap back a Ragnar tit for tat. This scene is just amazing. Ragnar realized his mistake in thinking Ivar as weak.
1:50 The moment Ragnar knew Ivar was his equal intelligence wise.
Dude looked so shook.
You can tell ivar will be a badass ruler. The only one worthy to be the heir of ragnar.
idk, ubbe seems to be the most responsible, and tbh, i like him, as Ivar said, "he is soft"
+gtfomaddie Yea but they are looking to make their own way, conquer their own territories. Ivar is the only one wanting to follow his father. I'd like to see Ivar go up against Rollo.
Well...
Of course I'll come!!!
It was this moment ragnar discovered Ivars true nature and also what it meant to be a father again, he missed thst connection with Bjorn, think how happy ragnar would have been if ALL his sons went to england with him :(
True. He was just a farmer who wanted the best for his children and for them to be famous
Ivar, Ragnar and Ecbert were my favourite characters from Vikings
The moment Ivar became my favorite Ragnarson. Loved the dynamics. Too bad Ragnar died too soon.
best f-n show ever!!!!!!!!
This scene was so -fucking- E P I C!!
one of the best scenes in the whole show
This was the scene that made millions love Ivar. xD
Hvitserk struggled with his faith similarly to Ragnar with Hvitserk himself converting due to his lack of direction without a war or battle in front of him. To an even greater degree, he seems to have inherited aspects of his uncle Rollo notably in his berserker fighting style as well as his position in the sibling power struggle with Ubber and Ivar both being the “Ragnar” in the relationship in one way or another. He inherited his father’s talent for combat and his addictive nature.
Ubbe had similar ambitions to Ragnar without his inclination for battle. In the end, Ubbe achieved his father’s dream of a new world for his people without the need for bloodshed. He inherited Ragnar’s simplicity.
Bjorn had his father’s strength if not surpassing it due to his resolve in the face of death as well as his morals and pride.
Sigurd potentially inherited Ragnar’s obliviousness due his him never being able to handle serious topics and situations with a strong or practical appoach like his uncertainty with what to do with Ecbert or constantly antagonizing of his little brother Ivar in spite of Margareth and Ubbe both noting there fear of Ivar with Ivar clearly showing signs that he wanted to kill Sigurd on multiple occasions that Sigurd glossed over.
Ivar inherited his father’s wits, recalling memories from years prior in preparations for his final battle as well as finding the inspiration to go to England to fight Alfred in the first place. Ivar always had to potential to be the greatest warrior of his siblings but was crippled arguably because of his father’s decisions. He not only inherited his father’s wit, but also his desire and ambition for a legacy, wanting to achieve greatness so that he could be remembered many years from now long after he’s passed away..
I'm glad there are some people who actually include Sigurd when they talk about Ragnar's sons. For no longer than he was there, I grew very fond of him.
Ragnar: *Damnit he really is my fucking kid*
Ragnar : I’m going to conquer the worl-
Ivar : Of course I’ll come :)
the true SON who wont let his father down 1:54
Ivar is the best ragnarson becaus3 he achieved to become legend both to series and reality despity his crealilty and in my opinion is better than bjorn in series because bjorn never had to try realy hard to have some simple things like respect that i dont like is that he made ubbe his enemy because he was the only man who respected from the beginning
Ivar's the best and most interesting. He saved the show after Ragnar died.
This scene is so precious
FUCK YEAH
The scenes with these two were so amazing. Honestly some of the best scenes in the entire show.
Back then Ivar wasn’t the devil
*Spoiler Alert!* If you haven't seen episode 11 of Season 4 yet , go watch that first! *Spoiler Alert!*
Vikinger wheres season 5 eps 11?
The only reason ragnar took ivar ..is because he knew he would be spared , for obvious reasons..no arrows were ever going to hit king ragnar or the "cripple".. ... this was a suicide mission. ...anything ragnar said to ivar boosting him up along the way was purely him just being nice to he's son , ..how do we know this ? ..because ragnar in these times doesn't believe in premonitions or prophesies.. he makes this very clear in multiple scenes from he's own mouth ..... so to the people saying ragnar knew this and that about ivar are wrong ...
Ragnar took Ivar because no1 would harm a cripple. I hate how they think Rangsr chose him. No1 else wanted to go with Ragnar.
Fucking Ragnar, god of gods.
I love how Ragnar gets so annoyed he gets at ivar but yet u can see the respect he had for ivar too
This scene always makes me Crack up every time lol
Come to Floki .Floki wont hurt you!
Lol that argument though
Me and that one child who's breath by breath like me and even worse than me can't do but love that little twin lol
he is like a woman i love it jsjsjdj
he was mocking ragnar and because of it ragnar knows that Ivar is exactly like him
I LOVE IVAR
this scene is so funny :DD
Bjorn and ivar and ubbe are definitely Ragnar's sons , but sigaurd and fetzek ... wtf r those ... tbh i thought siguard will be the best among all because of the snake in his eye but the creators forgot about that part .. and fetzek , i swear i sometimes doubt if hes really ragnar's son
Fetzek?? You mean Hvitserk??
idk why but i fucking love this scene
Ivar: "and like a crab under the moonlight I would crawl to you and sit on your throne"
foreshadowing to ivar being king after ragnar
FINALLY
Ivar took to his dad more than any of his brothers. Ragnar had the biggest impact on Ivar.
Lmao its how they went from one mood to another
They deserved more screen time together they had synergy
Season 4 btw
s4 actually, ragnar dies in s4
Ivar truely loved him
What Would be the worst if he had told the people about the treaty back then? He was so mesmerized by the idea of Paris - even when they failed to invade the city, and after he almost died, he still had the chance to redeem himself by going to avenge Vikings' treaty in England. Why he had to put it off until he had no one? OMG. This man!
Golbon Mol "It was apart of a much bigger plan!" Lol. The very words od Ragnar Lothbrok.
Ik ben te ruw met me taalgebruik
I a the only true son
Am i the only Who see a skeleton in the thumbnail?
☠️Ivar
underrated
Ivar is like a woman in this scene XD
😅😅
the "season 5 official" clickbait
How come you say it's clickbait? It's legit the opposite, it's exactly as it says in the title.
it is not a "season 5 official scene" xD its season 4
Did Tommy Wiseau make this?
