I mean, OF COURSE Ragnar was super cool and my favorite character to mid-season 4. But, the story after his death about all his son's, especially Ivar is even better
Smarter? Not really. Nobody can be as smart as ragnar in a way. Although battle wise Ivar is either just as good or better, but there's more to being smart than just being able to fight.
Ivar took the show far much better than Ragnar. I understand how people love Ragnar but Ivar was more ruthless than Ragnar. In the battlefield he was very brilliant and new how to outsmart the enemies. He's my best character in this serie
He’s had some of the best development in the entire show. The Iceland storyline may not have been great, but I still love Floki and him discovering the cross was truly emotional. Love the fact that they didn’t have him go back to his old ways because that’s when it would’ve been a pointless storyline.
I remember back when Athelwulf was introduced I thought he was a hot headed jackass with a stupid name. But later on he genuinely becomes a badass, regardless of his questionable decision making.
I hope that the makes of the show won't disappoint us by killing Ivar. He should be the king. As there are already a lot of inaccuracies in the show, it'd be ok to show him finally overcoming Harald after a long war
Tactical genius sure until you think about. How did people on foot not only outrun horses but circle around them in the time it took them to run to their old position. This amongst other obvious flaws in the whole logic
Madman Floki ran into battle blood drunk, Odin's Fury Deafened by Ragnar's calls from Valhalla, ringing loud within his ears Ragnar's taunts exasperating Floki His mind seeing a Smiling Ragnar, goading him jokingly, jealously claiming one upmanship Floki put in the work befitting his loss of Ragnar Floki's craftsman hands delightfully endeavored building thier greatest, most beautiful work in Ragnar's Name BloodEagle
I'm surprised the northmen had the stamina to keep routing and then coming back lol, most people would be exhausted with that much running. Although good strategy to wear them down
The Vikings were known for their warrior skills. they would also build their stamina by partaking in activities while preparing for battles, like wrestling and such. also add the fact that their armor was made to be lighter and stronger.
@@Mystic73424 you're forgetting about the berserkers, who wore next to nothing but either bear or wolf skins. Do some research, mate. The hallucinogenic mushrooms they would consume did wonders.

Back when Floki was actually a good character
I know. I really hate what they have done with his character.
Everyone becomes pointless after Ragnar death, and Ivar is just an annoying character
He’s had some of the best development in the entire show. The Iceland storyline may not have been great, but I still love Floki and him discovering the cross was truly emotional. Love the fact that they didn’t have him go back to his old ways because that’s when it would’ve been a pointless storyline.
@@raven89k heres a laguertha and bjorn fanboy
This works so much better w/ the music
Thanks, this is why I made this. :D
Omg I stopped watching the show csuse of Ragnar dying but by the gods they did it they picked up tactics. Its so beautiful
The ruthless. The cunning. The wisest.
To call Ivar a strategic genius is an understatement this was beautiful Ivar The Boneless ⛏️⛏️
IVAR THE BONELESS
Eai
" THERE THEY ARE ME LORD"
Pretty sure if they had actually had the budget for the battle at the end of Monty Python and the holy grail this would've been what it looked like
Ivar is the smartest human on this earth no one can ignore that.
Mind is a far better warrior than the sword
I remember back when Athelwulf was introduced I thought he was a hot headed jackass with a stupid name. But later on he genuinely becomes a badass, regardless of his questionable decision making.
“My name is Floki Allen, and I am the fastest man alive.”
I hope that the makes of the show won't disappoint us by killing Ivar. He should be the king. As there are already a lot of inaccuracies in the show, it'd be ok to show him finally overcoming Harald after a long war
this aged well
Vibing to the music
3:34 Saxon soldiers epic screaming looks happy
Ivar is the Eminem of tactics
Scouts would of made sure a huge army like that couldn't run rings around you lol
Beautiful trap
Ivar is so clever!!!
- Ivar's tactic war against Aethelwulf - without FEHU. 7/10
- Ivar's tactic war against Aethelwulf - with FEHU. 10/10
Best scene in season 4 😍
Soph R it was a great scene but the killing of the king was amazingly awesome
Repton is where they found a 9ft skeleton and then lost it it was probably ivar
Tactical genius sure until you think about. How did people on foot not only outrun horses but circle around them in the time it took them to run to their old position. This amongst other obvious flaws in the whole logic
Aethelwulf: "I'LL NOT BE THEIR FOOL, OR THEIR DUPE! ANY LONGER!"
Literally five minutes later:
1:55 yeah you will bro
Give the enemy a prize that looks too good to resist, give them what looks like an easy path to it, and they'll rush headlong into the trap
When I saw “Vikings ost” in the title, well, you’ll understand if you speak a Scandinavian language.
I've been desperately trying to wish away that piece of hair on my screen, till I realized it was your profile picture.
@@edinbeg. not even the same white ?
Nidvana The idea is that if you’re dumb enough to fall for it, then you deserve to wipe your screen to find that there was no hair.
@@ChampionVidsEver yes it is lol well at least for me
Repton is where in the 17th century found a mass grave from the battle with a 9ft skeleton that disappeared it was said to be ivor the boneless
In those days they didnt have fast food or TVs or just had the option of being lazy and these actors have to stay in shape for roles
have you seen king aelle?
@@bonzaieditz4722 I'm talking bout skarsgard have u seen them there diesel af
This battle was the most wholesome moment in the show after ragnar death.

Floki: *smokes the horse*

ran into battle blood drunk,
Odin's Fury
Deafened by
Ragnar's calls from Valhalla, ringing loud within his ears
Ragnar's taunts exasperating Floki
His mind seeing a Smiling Ragnar, goading him jokingly,
jealously
claiming one upmanship
Floki put in the work befitting his loss of Ragnar
Floki's craftsman hands delightfully endeavored building thier greatest, most beautiful work in
Ragnar's Name
BloodEagle
I'm surprised the northmen had the stamina to keep routing and then coming back lol, most people would be exhausted with that much running. Although good strategy to wear them down
In general that was the advantage of vikings that they were wearing next to no armor and could move faster
The Vikings were known for their warrior skills. they would also build their stamina by partaking in activities while preparing for battles, like wrestling and such. also add the fact that their armor was made to be lighter and stronger.
@@DKfan87 complete bullshit, Vikings wore thick mail just like everyone else who could afford it, this show is terrible and bias
@@Mystic73424 you're forgetting about the berserkers, who wore next to nothing but either bear or wolf skins. Do some research, mate. The hallucinogenic mushrooms they would consume did wonders.
@@DKfan87 is that what they told you on the history channel's documentary about vikings? I bet you wouldnt even know that they werent called vikings back then. Also, berserkers arent some class like in a video game, just because a few people chose not to wear armor doesnt mean that was the prevailing style. People who didnt have armor couldnt afford it and nearly everyone had the most important piece; helmets which dont exist in this show.
Imagine Ragnar sitting on a hill watching this all play out with that smile
