For anyone thinking about buying the knight box for christmas, be careful the knight in the combo box is hella weird, you can only build it as a paladin or an errant, witouht any turrets on top
For the Castigator, you can also magnetize the ammo box to the body. I used an 8x3 mm on the inside of the body and a 3x1 on the inside of the box. I think it works better than trying to magnetize it at the connection point. Also, if you want to be lazy and don't want to think about magnet sizes, 8x3 works for any waist/arm connection from armigers to cerasti. Although you can't perfectly hide them in the armigers, it still works because the connection point is already ~8mm in diameter, so it won't look out of place.
I love to use the 110% of the GW product I buy, I magnetized all the pieces and weapons (and faces) of the Novitiates Kill Team box, used the sprues and the literal box for terrain. Very productive days ❤
I've magnetized a number of my Ork models, mostly just on models that I'm only ever going to have a couple of and/or it's way easier(and cheaper) to just be able to swap weapons for instead of having an individual model for each loadout. Only models I regret magnetizing so far is a five man squad of Lootas/Burna Boyz, and that's mostly down to how I magnetized them.
Congrats on 10K and im not geting any holiday boxes ( no guard box :( ) and i ahve no magnet experience . Here's my obligatory algorith appeal pleas free my familly now
I was planning on magnetizing the HH Dreadnoughts I'm getting for my Iron Warriors army. Also, for the holiday boxes, a friend is buying me the Tau one for Christmas.
I just finished magnetizing 10 firstborn Deathwatch at the shoulders, shoulder pads, and about half the wrists so I could have more options than I need for Killteam and GFF, so it's quite fun seeing others suffer as I have 😅😂
magnetising the armigers is really helpfull to your wallet. Until you get 6 of each. As for the bigger knights, thank you for this guide. I will use it in the future.
Would imperial measurement magnets be fine? Cheapest place to buy magnets in small/exact quantities seems to be K&J but they use imperial measurements so things like the 6mm and 7mm end up in the weird 1/4 inch which is technically slightly in between both of them.
Not gonna get those large boxes because really to bring the armies I will spend next year playing, I only have here and there units not found in those boxes. Magnetizing is insanity and usually valuable if you wanna get more out of a kit that cost you over 100 dollars. Or do like me and just decide what the unit will do and run with it. Like how I plan to build the tanks for my blood angels when I get them. Just go with the option that seems fitting for my style.

Nothing a 3d printer can’t fix.
by the turrets on top do you mean the turrets beside the head or the carapace mounted turrets?
@monkey5266 carapace mounted
thankyou for using proper measurements for magnet sizes, none of this 3/53rds of a watermelon business
Magnetizing models like infantry are amazing because you can magnetize them to movement trays and make storage a million times easier
Since I'm prepping to build a knight house to fight alongside my Risen in spring this guide will come in handy :3

I don’t recall if it was mentioned but make sure to buy “N52” neodymium magnets. These have the strongest pull forces

You're crazy, and I love it!

This video convinced me to magnetize my classic boxnought.
Magnetised my mighty guard titan (A single Sentinel), great fun only glued my fingers together twice. Already got 2 more coming to do it again
Always is handy draw something in the magnets to remember the polarity
I relate to this video HARD
Me, who doesn't own any knights, watching how to magnetize said knights; hmm yes intriguing 🤔

good video, now when is the Space Marine magnet guide coming out?

Revenn speaks. We listen.
yo show more about the acastus missile launcher mechanism it's cool
I managed to put magnets in the arms for my wraith knight. It’s not the best looking, but it works.
I magnetized all my Ork Boyz, so they can be shootas or slugga/choppas on demand lol, so many magnets.....
Great vid man!

Nice one !
revannn please let me out of the basement
insane clown posse reference
i magnetized ever unit in a 2500pt custodies army ... arm's heads. ...... kill me
Holy shit magnetising seems like a pain, but I suppose it would be a bigger pain to buy 4 more questorises
Makes it a lot easier to store the bigger knights too. You can take them apart and put them in separate containers to move.
I have no creative or funny thing to save, anyways comment for the algorithm, let’s get handi to 20k before 2025
