As a woman, I've always loved this series, to remind us of what true honor and dignity is, and how it is never an easy path which gets no recognition but pays off in the long run. In this world of digital technology, I see honor and respect and trust for the other human being going down, and it's games like these which will remind us of how much our male and female ancestors fought to give us what we have today, and how we should uphold that.
We see how much fight went into controlling the barbaric invasions and conquer missions, and i like how it's about brotherhood rather than competition, and stopping conquest rather than encouraging it.
Having said all this, I've always wondered what it would have been like to be a female assassin in a time when women weren't given as many opportunities, and so they really had to fight and prove themselves for centuries to get their respect and decision in battle alongside men.
As a gay man all I see is two games where being a gay man was made "not valid and not canon" in favour of female characters. And a game written by a gay man, about a bisexual man (syndicate about Jacob) ended up having evie in there and pushing Jacob to the side all the time, despite him being the main protagonist. It's hypocritical on the part of ubisoft, and shows me that my demographic are worthless to ubisoft.
@@chrismoore5333So valhalla and odyssey don’t count?
@@preyscalling nope. They don't count at all. This is because the female characters are canon during in game cinimatics and story content. Thus excludes all gay/bisexual male characters from being valid. It is homophobic and hypocritical on Ubisoft's part.
@@chrismoore5333 You do realise that while the main character isn’t gay a lot of other characters are.
The reason the main character is canonically straight is for relatability and female characters draw in more players
@@preyscalling you are making excuses that suit you, while a minority group is repressed for no good reason.
Lydia Frye!!!
You included everyone.
Great job.
Lydia's pretty awsome.
Happy international women day to the ladies of the creed and team. May they have a wonderful day and let the shadows be bright in their honor.
@Bigsha97 you see all them being “mommy” material?
@Bigsha97 oh understandable
first game director was female..
No it's a man, Patrice Désilets. Maybe you're talking about the producer who is indeed a woman
Happy Womens day to all girls, and woman. You all deserve it !
Oh god
It's woman's day not girls😂
I don't get why bishop is there
My favourite female protagonist has to be Evie Frye and Amulet. Total badass.
Kinda miss Evie
assassin's creed syndicate on nextgen would be appreciated 😊
Lydia was there....❤️❤️❤️
There's still a story of Aya in Ancient Rome that Ubisoft could create an entire game of
Nope. Absolutely not. Bayek, or a new character. I want a roman centurian assassin! We were robbed of Brutus!
@@chrismoore5333 Who says we won't ever get a game with Brutus?
No
@solo dragon bloody aya. That's who. Brutus used to be the assassin who killed ceaser. Now aya killed him, and Brutus apparently "killed himself." The hidden ones dlc says this. I hate aya for her repulsive personality. But ubisoft killing such a huge character, just to make aya seem good? It is sickening.
@@chrismoore5333 Wouldn't mind that either but the focus today is "Celebrating the Women of Assassin's Creed"
How about you stop giving gender choices and just make us play some good female characters if your going to make them canon anyway? And maybe if the canon character is going to be a woman than put her on the cover of the game ffs L Ubisoft 🙄
It's so much more complex than that. They've lied 2 you. And will continue to do so.
I'm glad they put Lucy Stillman in here too!! She may have been a Templar spy, but she was very likeable!!
I seriously want to have a cool, custom made framed artwork done of all the women of Assassin's Creed!! Would be so epic!!
I play almost all games this is not a video game for me,this is history
Celebrate the men too
"EqUAliTy" is apparently just for women. Not men. Not even for gay/bisexual men, or ethnic minorities... just women. Ubisoft are hypocrites.
@@chrismoore5333 typical isn't it. 😑
@@liquidsnake.7008 yup. Sadly.
Tbf most of the ac games revolve around the men lol, women don’t get nowhere near the amount of time
@@NBE-02 yh but gay/bisexual men get even less than women. Jacob is the only remaining canon gay/bisexual male protagonist. And he is always pushed to the side for evie. It's hypocritical.
I personally love the fighting mechanism of AC 3 best of all other AC games.
same close with black flag
@@infinicaseblack flag is just a watered down version of 3
@@fraughtmonster8 *upgraded
@@fraughtmonster8 true that.
@Michael nah. Black flag combat has less options and is so much more simple.
So glad they included Mary Read in this!
Evie Frye and Kassandra will be my favorite women assassin's.
Hey... Lucy had a part in this too... She helped Desmond escape abstergo.
Only for it to be found out Lucy was going to take the apple and the rescue attempt on her part was a ploy
@aspirit9763 this was years ago, we are way past the statue of limitation for spoilers
@@ConnorLonerganyeah I think Lucy is actually a traitor because she seems to loyal to Warren vidic and she just feels suspicious that way how she comes in and break desmond out it just doesn't feel right
@@badreedinedjellali1328 I think it makes sense, I mean she was an assassin that was sent in to spy on Abstergo, so among the things she should have known was guard rotations, camera positions, building lay out, security codes, etc.
Thank you for this! Amazing game and characters forever an AC fan!!!!!!
nicely done....
hope there will be a video for men too😁
I think only for international father's day.
@@trippa3553 why?
@@liblotr, because only women deserve to be praised/celebrated. The countless efforts men have put in, are almost always overshadowed by what women are doing.
Being a female Assassin's Creed Odyssey was the first game I played Cassandra. It made it fun. I played this on ps4 and I started again on my Xbox series x. Being lesbian it makes it fun to romance the ladies. Thank you Ubisoft for excellent games.
They should do a remake of the first AC with a bigger open world traveling map. And add other cities during crusades. Other gaming companies are doing remakes like call of duty, resident evil, Final Fantasy ect... ubisoft should remake the first AC too...
@alfredochavez1906984 also female option or female only, don't need trash male characters!

Does that mean we will actually get a top notch Shao Jun and Aya game?
No, this is just a Ubisoft puff piece to try and have the cooperation go, "yes, women are so great; please give us money."
@@ConnorLonergan Sad then, I play Eivor and Alexios (males) because they make more sense. Shao Jun and Aya would literally be top notch games.
@@ConnorLonergan There’s always gotta be that one person.

What about the men of Assassins Creed?
This was dope..happy post women's day🤟
Evie, lydia, kassandra, aya even eivor all wifey type
I will wait to see if you celebrate men's day on 19 November
Haha same, such hypocrisy
Thay won't
Regardless of gender, for every great Assassin is another Assassin beside them, not behind them. Let our blades be sharp together!
Vittoria Agli Assassini!
I like that comment. Inclusive, and fair. The opposite of this video.
It's amazing how assassin creed is still going strong after all these years
Is more than amazing is a creation like no other we work in different ways that others don’t see we hide in plain sight
Strong is a strong word.
Idk bout allat
i,am waiting the division heartland
Beautiful video. The goals and struggles of the Assassin brotherhood, are aligned with the goals and struggles of women. Knowledge, freedom, autonomy.
Yet the female representation if used to gatekeep against lgbt men in this franchise. Jacob ended up having to share with evie. So half the games protagonist is a gay/bisexual man, I guess? Alexios and male eivor are "not canon, and not valid." What place have we as gay/bisexual men in this franchise then? Are we just supposed to take the scraps while already well provided for women, cheer as they get fat on more and more representation? Even when a gay man wrote AC syndicate, we still ended up with evie. It is oppressive.
And from now on, this is my favourite assassin's creed video !❤
Why u are not releasing the new part of Prince of Persia
because they r busy goating ac series
pp isnt that much popular anymore
big companies make only trending games and genres
thats why rts died too
Who is this for?
Oh women’s day my bad
If they tried again they could potentially make an Assassin’s Creed cinematic universe. The ACU.
Anyone else notice how there are two “the” in the thumbnail. Ubisoft can’t even make a UA-cam video without messing something up 😂
I wish we had Aya playable alongside with Bayek. Like in Syndicate. She was meant to be main protag after all....
Elise too 😢
Sisters of the brotherhood you are our strong helpers to guide us to victory without you the brotherhood will have no support and no family
a claudia game would be kinda sick
Where is the Mirage gameplay you hype us the cinematic
Happy international women's day
1:12 this part is so sad : (
Where's Maria Thorpe?
"Women don't sell" - Ubisoft
What about World men day 💀
Oh that was amazing! So many powerful and incredible women make up the brotherhood! Not just in the games, behind the scenes as well. Happy international women day to everyone on screen and behind it. And now I want to replay the entire franchise again!
What a utter lie. Many men created assassin's creed along side women. A gay man wrote syndicate to be about Jacob, who himself is the series first, and (now that all women are automatically canon) only gay/bisexual man as protagonist. But hey, let's discriminate against lgbt men, all to prop up women, who are already well provided for in gaming. Hypocrites.
@Trippa women can be powerful without being sexist man haters. But ubisofts women are sexist man haters, and they are liers aswell.
@@chrismoore5333 Yea... sorry but i am gonna burst your bubble of gay fantasy, the records of the Frye family clearly states that Jacob had a granddaughter named Lydia Frye, so practically Jacob did married a woman, and not a gay man.
@joshua5237 sorry but I'm gonna burst you're homophobic bubble. Jacob is a man in 1860s he like most gay men would have had kids and been married to a women at some point.
However it should be noted, the family tree is in the game, and evie is shown as with Henry but Jacob is shown as on his own. Also the only love interest he has is Roth..... a man.
Why do you think thay included a kiss? For the jokes?
Jacob is gay mate, he gets called gay by the train driver in a pre order mission when the driver is drunk. And again its not a joke the driver is making, because he also shouted he works for the assassin's.
Dam I'm willing to bet you're fine with odin reborn as a cross dressing women. But Jacob being gay upsets you.
That or you just decided he wasn't because it suits you're argument.
Today we put down the coffee cup and give the crowns to the worthy
Give us more Aya, Amunet!
When mirage will be avalaible, Ubisoft ????
Ok but male Eivor is canon
No female Eivor is the canon one
Male eivor should be canon.
Alexios should be canon.
Jacob should be the only protagonist, and he is the only canon lgbt man, so he is alot more valuable for representation than evie is.
And bayek is 100% better then nasty aya.
If ubisoft want good female protagonists, they should hire people who understand what makes a strong woman.

Happy Women's Day!
Games are comes every year but assassin's creed is rising most......
women ☕
I think you missed the point of what IWD is all about.
They could make another 2-3 games with Kassandra and I'd be just fine with it.
Deff not, odyssey and kassandra was the worst thing they did in this franchise. If anything they should bring back lydia or shao jun.
@@gigaman9548 evie? Rubbish jacob for people who can't understand a bisexual man in an oppressive society. But lydia? She was awsome! I know laods of early development syndicate facts. And the WW1 content looked to be a fair but bigger. Id have rather had 50% Jacob, and 50% lydia. Both doing their own thing, while complimenting each others narrative. Like revelations almsot. Evie tho. She is a disgrace.
Kassandra is terrible.
@@gigaman9548 FAXXX
Kassandra had no character, no intresting backstory and wasn't even a female. If they wanted a good female lead, they could have made an AC about Shao Jun.
Kassandra: The Wolf of Sparta...
Is my Father.
BOOOORRRRIIIIIINNNNNGGGGG!
Interesting, I just started vallhalla last night and I chose female eivor. With out realizing it's national woman's day. Now I'm glad I did(;
If you like playing as a woman with no woman parts, who thinks she's a man, and acts like she smokes 20 packs a day, and constantly tries to sound tough.
I do suggest picking the Let Animus Choose option for a more canonical story as to why there are gender options this time.
Eivor was canonically always supposed to be a woman. The characters name Varinsdottor means DAUGHTER of Varin. But the misogynistic execs in charge forced them to make Eivor by gender optional because they have been caught saying “women in lead roles don’t sell video games”.
@Dark Jedi Knight your spreading a lie. Female Evior and male Eivor, were planned to be 2 different characters. One who was the sage of odin, and a man. And he was the assassin. He was eventually replaced by a none playable Basim. And the second was called Jora, and she wasn't an assassin but did work with them. She was a viking and not a sage. Ubisoft lied to you. I'm sick of the damn lies.
@@chrismoore5333 look at the pattern. Hell it was all over the gaming news in 2020 when it was revealed that not only are the executives at Ubisoft sexist but that they have both mentally and physically abused their employees.

so instead of showing us something about mirage u show us this😐

Que bueno
Ooh ❤️ lovely
Man ubisoft makes such boring characters now
Fascinating and impressive but it lasts too little:
- I would have liked at least 10 minutes
- I would have liked more "sequences" with Kassandra
- I would really like you to specify somewhere the titles of the background songs, especially the song that I can hear after the second minute: it seems like a "produced" sound, the violin is playing and it's so expressive that I can't "get enough" of it
Turn on comment on video "international women day" or u too scared?))))
توی این ویدیو فقط جای شی پاتریک کرماک خالی بود

What a nice way to show equality, by celebrating only women…
Evie frye 🔥
Evie and Kassandra ...

Nah
Okay cool so we should get a video like this for international men’s day right?
We should. But we won't.
@@chrismoore5333 I googled it and apparently it’s mid November or something.. we’ll see if they keep the same energy
@@zyexio yh we will see. I know that modern ubisoft love misandrists. That's all I'll say.

No because ubisoft are actually sexist just not against women.
That's why it's official cannon that odin was reborn as a women and only then did he become a better person.
Because women good and men bad.
now i do wonder if at fathers day men will also be honored like this (since somehow there is not International Men´s day)
Seriously??? Every day is men’s day and we’re all the worse off for it.

Is Ubisoft gonna do the same thing for men on International Men's Day? Cuz if they don't them that's pretty sexist. The matriarchy can be quite oppressive
Of course ubisoft won't. They run by a bunch of misandrists these days. Look at how they discriminated against gay/bisexual men, all to be "inclusive to women." Hypocrites the lot of them.
