Sir, you are the best. Nobody provides these kind of DIY info.
Now I can explain anyone what ride by wire is. Probably the KTM showroom guys wouldn't be aware of it. Thank you.

    • @raajesha1573
      @raajesha1573 7 років тому

zeta tube Did you know what ride by wire was?
      Surely I didn't. I learned that part.
Don't be a fool. Just because you know stuff doesn't mean everyone knows it.

As far as I know fly by wire was introduced because the newer fighter aircrafts could not be kept stable by the pilot alone because of the super maneurability feature introduced by the single wing like structure of nrlew fighter jets. Therefore fly by wire came into picture to keep the aircraft stable.
The only aircrafts with super maneurability without fly by wire are Sukhoi SU 27 which only the fearsome Russian pilots can fly.

    Good video again.
You can solve the blipping issue by adding something like Techtronics CABS module. (basically any good auto blipper)
Might not make sense for street riding, but track definitely yes.

Really informative. The advantage of having ride by wire throttle on vehicles is in a way (as I see it) since now you could probably add aftermarket modules like Bazzaz zfi traction control and probably an auto blipper since a gear position sensor is already present! Multiple possibilities to enhance the motorcycle. I haven't ridden a ride by wire motorcycle yet so I really cant comment on the lag part! Nice video Vikas ji

Dude you are so nice, was mainly looking for a review on how ride by wire feels vs cable because this is my first Fuel injected bike and it sucks to get used to because on the Ninja 400 it is still a cable but at low speeds the low and high is too harsh where as my carb bike was nice and smooth from 0-2 this is so jerky. I would love to come visit you guys some day.

great explication, but there are some other reason for the ride by wire system. firstly due to more and more strict emission regulations, the RBY caculate the exact amount of air/fuel mixture give in to the combustion chamber at anytime to make sure no excess fuel going in, then never let the unburn fuel going out to the exhaust pipe to destroy the catalic converter (so it is impossible to see fire 🔥going out of a RBY motorcycle's muffler).
Secondly, RBY system control the idle status, so it never let the butterfly throttle valve to close to make sure no ash create around them. it means you will not have to clean you throttle body for much longer.

We are in that advanced electronic era in which we don't even need clutch & gear from normal motorcycle to super sports bikes too due to selectable speed limit aacelaration modes by servo itself & throttle according to that speed limit! It will save lots of fuel too!

sir great video...but one thing...it is not the servo on the throttle body..it is indeed a simple solenoid which connects to the throttle valve...servo is a term which describes any aid in colabartion of the existing system to attain the physical motion..eg vaccum servo (round black colored drum attached to mastercylinder) in brakes of cars...and yes no need of drive by wire if u dont have TCS .. good work sir

Instead of cables we are now using sensors even in Speedo meters. So here instead of cables KTM is using sensors for throttle that sensor system is callled ride by wire. Main reason everyone moving to sensors is for precision and also we say moving with the times. Traction control, ABS all such things are closely related in big machines but here just think simple SOME THING IS BETTER THAN NOTHING.

Will burnouts still be possible if the new rc390 comes with a ride by throttle cable. As u said that it will control the traction on the rear wheel.

  • @SouravMoitra19

I have heard that for each automatic system in aircraft there is a system to override it. Maybe a button to override the calculations by the ECU is what we need.
