It's pretty but pricey! It also comes from a design group that ran into issues and delays in the past. This time however, the team members have gone through keyspensory to vendor the project and went with a more reliable factory to produce the boards which has a pretty good track record so far. I am happy about that. And heres hoping this one doesn't have issues. I thought it was important to talk about that before I looked at the keyboard more into detail.
    Enjoy the vid!

@@happybeing777 this time it will be through their recommended manufacturer (keyspensorary) as I mentioned in the VoD! But I don’t disagree, use this as a warning and caution for any doubt you may have

@happybeing777 Actually, only 1 member of the team was from the old studio but was the one member who wanted to project to be on track.
When the old projects were ready to ship, we stayed up day and night packing all of the orders because we do care about the community and your trust. It just sucked that the cards were against us in almost all aspects.
Not trying to give excuses, but to ask for a 2nd chance. We shipped out the Fuji75 DG edition before this GB and that took about 4-5 months to be shipped out. We hope you enjoy the product and give us another chance

@@KiwiKang respectfully, I think you guys would be much better off acknowledging that mistakes were made, and that you guys (hopefully) are, now, better for it.
Actions will always speak louder than words - and it seems disingenuous for you to say that you guys are "not trying to give excuses", but.... are just giving excuses. I'm not sure how discussing the sensitive nature of your group's internal affairs, publicly ("only 1 member of he team was from the old studio"), would be beneficial. And this excuse isn't very compelling, as most GB's (excluding collabs), are run/managed by one person anyways.
I say this, offering genuine advice and wish you all the best of luck. I would focus more on getting that $380 price point down, significantly - as Alex advised with good intentions. I agree with him, especially in 2024. The F1-8X V2 is ~$320 to $380 itself...

I agree with your points regarding the cost, it doesn’t feel very unique outside of the look and if the SS weight is not top notch then even it’s best feature seems to miss the mark for the $400+ price. With so many other competitive boards on sale or GB this year I think this is an easy pass for me 😢

I'm someone that got burned by the fuji65, but I'm still hopeful for the fuji75. It's been my dream keyboard since I first saw it. I don't mind if there are slight delays, it's not like getting the keyboard right this second would change my life in any way. I definitely would mind if the boards ship and the anodization doesn't live up to expectations (like with the fuji65) or the sound profile is bad, which based on everything I've seen of the CN group buy and review units shouldn't be an issue.

I was one of the only people yapping about bina quality, board was completely fine. I just had PCB issues and it was only the LEDs so overall 10 out of 10 I got it fixed eventually

as a Fuji65 GB backer, I suggest you stay away from this studio and their products as far as you can. absolutely horrible experience.

    • @KiwiKang

The studio had a really rough time with the GB process due to some older team members and factory issues. That's why they rebranded to Sakura Workshops and reworked the team as well.
Was it still rough, yes. But Keyspensory did the Fuji75 DG edition already and that took around 4 months after GB ended to be shipped out. All of the projects that came out of this newly branded studio has been trying to make sure that their reputation is fixed and gain trust again in the community.
I hope you understand and enjoy the projects coming soon as well

As a fuji75 dreaming girl edition owner I suggest anyone who likes 75% to go for it. While I never went for the fuji65 so i can't speak for those who did but, the buying experience for the 75 was absolutely great

Producing a subpar keyboard and trying to sell at a premium price is crazy.... we are in 2024 not in 2020. Good that this hobby has evolved

Sakura Workshop, just stay away from this maker. 6 months delay for the Fuji75 and it was a horrible experience for me. The kit was so bad for its insane price. Last year, I gave them the last hope when I entered the Alina80 GB and it was garbage. Still 4 months of delivery delay and the quality of the keyboard was no way near its price. I see no effort in any product of this studio, just put their logo on, CNC, and sell it at a stupid price when there are many better products in the market. Just skip this scammer, guys!
