From Gimp, Sketchbook, Krita, etc., to Procreate. I personally won’t leave Procreate. Super clean, easy to use, and powerful. Listen to Kesh if you are starting out. The man knows what he is talking about. Use what you can afford. Save all of your work for reflection. Remember Your mission (why do you enjoy drawing? What is your goal?) Find your own style and Never give up! It’s not a race, it’s a passion! You can do this! Above all else, Enjoy and have fun!

Keshav brother, this is very informative advice for me because i decided to quit traditional paper drawing because of tempting digital art it's so cool & very easy to adjust as compared to traditional paper drawing, now i understand the process is same maybe one or two have difference but i start from the traditional art

Beautiful curls. Grow them long and tie like in one of your characters - you draw future you😂🎉🎉🎉 glasses to choose small so shape of hair and glasses doesn’t shape but reveal the face.🎉🎉🎉
@@KeshArt yes, do it, Nike :) you will have additional gestures in front of the camera- long hair moves more obviously in the space after a move /shake of the head. A bun on a mens head is terrific. And another view. Small glasses without top line is still glasses to shift with finger creating funny images but also disappearing , not concurring with face lines while not touched. Have fun. Russian has a good word ЗАГЛЯДЕНИЕ - something you can watch watch and enjoy watching :) the artist trap. The BEST.

Hi Kesh! I am not an artist but I want to learn digital art to start a hobby. I don't have any hobbies but digital artwork always inspires me so I wanted to try my hands on it. I borrowed basic ipad [9th gen+apple pencil] from a cousin to practice on it. Currently, I can't buy procreate because it's extra investment & I am not really looking to use the hobby to make money so zero ROI in long term. So, could you advise/suggest some best free to use apps that I can install on the ipad for learning digital artwork as a total beginner?
I guess you should make a video, in which you make a simple illustration and show us how you do till the end..... I'm actually getting some problems in shading and highlight part
