Love all these ideas. If you add boiling water to your thermos for about 5 to 10 min before you fill it, and then dump it out, it will hold the heat for longer.
So if you do prep the container with boiling water prior to putting the hot food in- can the container then go into a lunch bag and then go into a fridge until meal time? Will it keep the contents hot under those circumstances?
Mandy, these are some tasty recipes. I definitely have to buy the containers, my grandkids deserve a good hot lunch. I will be trying these meals for myself as well. 😁
Have a picky 8 yr old grandson who actually considered 4 of these recipes. That’s HUGE, for him. He and I will be cooking together in the next few days. Thank you for the great ideas😃!!
I don’t have any young school age kids but these are great ideas. My son will be a junior in college (he’s a commuter) and the food prices are expensive at the university so these containers may be an option. I like the way you present your videos...love to watch you!
The insulated containers they have these days are really great. The only improvement I could see for this one is if it also had a fork and not just a spoon, or perhaps a "spork" lol. I'd spray the crescents quickly with olive oil spray and a sprinkle of garlic salt before cooking but that's just me. Takes but a second. I do it with pizza crust too. Great ideas.
Kid free here and okay with that...But, I was thinking if you did this in a bit of a bigger version for work for us grown up kids!! Looks so yummy! Great Ideas easy and simple..
Mandy, these are great ideas not only for the kids but even for someone like myself to have for lunch or dinner. Love your channel. Terrific video today. You are amazing coming across so easy to your subscribers. Thank you.
These recipes are just what I needed! We are homeschooling our son this year (he’s a sophomore) and I’m gonna spend the weekend making breakfast burritos and quick breakfast goodies for him to pop in the microwave.
I used to teach kids in aftercare at my school- I taught a cooking class after homework and their favorite thing to make was the pizza rolls and corn dogs. I miss doing that with the kids. I may make them for supper one night.
All of those containers look great...but I don't have any kids going to school anymore, and now I'm working from home so I have no use for them now. :(. However, I do need to buy crescent rolls and some string cheese. Those roll ups looks so good. Nice little snack too. The corn bread and hot dogs were adorable and I love anything Mexican so great ideas here!
This video was perfect!! 🙌💜 As a Stay at home Mom who will now be homeschooling two high schoolers, I am always looking for new foodie ideas to keep them eating. 😬(It's quite the adventure). 😂 These are great ideas!! Can you do more? 🙏💚🙌🤗
Ma'am ,I find your content so sweet and calming. Thank you for the practical , child friendly meals. Keep up the good work Ma'am. Be blessed and have a good day!!!
Perfect for my hubby's lunches. These would great when you are traveling on the road. Quick easy meals that anyone can eat. Great video. Please do more like these.
Love these ideas. I'm definitely going to be creating these for hubby and I. We both don't eat a lot so these are perfect size for us. Have a great day and week. Stay safe.
Girl!! These are not only perfect for kids lunches but, you better believe I’m making any one of these for kids dinner options too!! I love how affordable the blue elé line is!! Great video😘
Love the ideas especially the pepperoni cheese rolls 🤗. For the Mac and cheese, if your kids are not allergic to eggs, you can mix hard boiled eggs finely chopped for added protein. It doesn’t change the taste much. Thanks for the video.
Thanks Mandy! Those are great ideas for my lunch. I’m always looking for good and different things for my lunches. I get tried of sandwiches or salads all the time. Hope Cole has a great school year at home.
Thank you and hot food remains hot you said with Blue Ele? Because with other thermo it’s cold by lunch time. Should I put hot water on the thermo for a bit and then put the food?
Awesome ideas. When you started putting the pepperoni on the Cresent roll and Gracies little face was shown OMG I laughed. Lol she's such a sweet girl.
These recipes look so good and easy! I am definitely going to try some of these for my kids! I used your link to order the thermos and bento box. It only gave me 20% off of one, but I got an extra 12.99 off, so I ended up getting the bento boxes for free! I did 2 separate orders to get 12.99 off both times! Thanks for sharing!
You've got to try the trick I learned for draining grease. Take a sheet of aluminum foil and place it into a clean sink. Make a little well where the drain is of the aluminum foil. Drain beef into a colander over the well of aluminum foil. You can wait for it to cool or just fold up and throw in the trash!
Love all these ideas. If you add boiling water to your thermos for about 5 to 10 min before you fill it, and then dump it out, it will hold the heat for longer.
Yes it will!!! I'm gonna pin this comment, because I should have said that!! Thank you!
Great ideas! I was just going to mention adding boiling water. Great tip.
I was just coming to comment this same thing! Definitely a great tip 😀.
So if you do prep the container with boiling water prior to putting the hot food in- can the container then go into a lunch bag and then go into a fridge until meal time? Will it keep the contents hot under those circumstances?

I don’t think I can do that anymore
These recipes are just what I needed! We are homeschooling our son this year (he’s a sophomore) and I’m gonna spend the weekend making breakfast burritos and quick breakfast goodies for him to pop in the microwave.
Those Aldi refried beans are so good. Normally I don't like the canned kind, but these aren't thick and pasty and are seasoned well. Love them!
Amen to that! I will never buy another kind now!
I used to teach kids in aftercare at my school- I taught a cooking class after homework and their favorite thing to make was the pizza rolls and corn dogs. I miss doing that with the kids. I may make them for supper one night.
I can guarantee you those kids still remember making corn dogs and pizza with you 😊 I know I still have fond memories of doing that and I’m 36
Gracie in the background 😆 girl wants that cheese!
You know this! 🤣
Not going to lie I have no kids myself but I am definitely trying all these for myself especially the pizza rolls

Yep!!!
Yes that sounds good.
All of those containers look great...but I don't have any kids going to school anymore, and now I'm working from home so I have no use for them now. :(.
