4:09 “with your heart against my chaiste, your lips pressed to my naiik.” Beautiful. The Jr version translates everything super accurately. I’m sold. The bigger version is great but i’m not sure it’s $600 better. Especially in a thick mix. If you make acoustic records with 2 mics, spend that extra money, it’s more crucial. But let’s be honest most people already have a wall of dumb EDM or distorted guitar going. The Jr would sound basically identical in a final mix, in those cases. Most people can literally use an SM58 and it sounds fine because the surrounding instruments rob the vocal of all its subtle character. Most heavy rock or EDM tracks can use a $125 mic and sound almost identical in a mix with a competent engineer. It’s only when one mic really carries the weight that it’s crucial to use an extremely high-quality mic.
