Love the tips!! For the pacifier clip toy hack clip the pacifier clip to his clothes instead of the car seat belt so if you're in an accident all the force doesn't go to where the toy is clipped :)
another good one for teething is a piece of thin fabric with a knot tied at each corner. A handkerchief works the best dip the knots in water and freeze.
Girl, this video is SO good. I love this kind of content & it’s super helpful! I would LOVE to see a video on what you do for naps/sleep training. Currently on the STRUGGLE BUS with baby sleep.
Another tip for when you’re changing them so they don’t put their fingers in the mess is when you’re holding their legs, you can cross their legs so that way they are just touching their knees and can’t get to it.
Awesome hacks! I ordered a winter car seat cover to help with the blanket problem and I love it! It’s also nice to have during COVID because my baby is completely covered.
Hi Ash, love your videos. You’ve touched briefly in a few videos on cornstarch to help prevent diaper rash - do you put the cornstarch on every time you change a diaper? Then the cream when there’s actually the rash? (as you explain in this video). New mom to be in Feb - and I’m still confused with whether you put something on each time or not. I like the idea of a preventative approach. Thanks so much!
I was just as confused as you are! When rook was born we put it on every change and like I said, only the cream when he needed it. Now we’ve for the most part stopped using cornstarch. Every kid is different and some are very sensitive so they need the cornstarch every time for a long time.
What a sweet baby!! I used coconut oil and a dollar store, fine toothed comb for cradle cap. Carseat blanket hack, nice idea. Hope you had a Merry Christmas.
Love your hacks! Just a gentle fyi, that clips are not recommended to go on the car seat straps to avoid compromising how they work. From what I understand, it is best to clip it to the baby's clothes. Rook is so big now! You are such a great mom!
Hey Ashley! Random question: would you recommend your Article couch? Haha I love it, and we’re looking in to getting one. Possibly the same one you have. Has it held up pretty well and is it comfy, etc? Thanks! :)
Hi! I love this couch and I would repurchase. It’s comfy (in a structured kinda way) and it still looks great. My only problem is that there is a “front face” to the cushions so you can’t rotate them to wear equally. I don’t know what I’m going to do when they look saggy from lots of use. Like I said though I still love the couch! So many seats but it doesn’t take up a lot of visual space! And it’s beautiful 😄
Oh! And the covers are removable so I can wash them which is amazing. Rook has pooped on the couch multiple times but I was able to wash the covers to prevent stains!
@@elenalee4550 wow, I'm sorry you found that to be negative, it certainly wasn't intended to be. I was only giving her an idea. People like easy, so if she makes it accessable people will be more likely to watch it than to go search for it. I was just trying to be helpful didn't mean to offend anyone. I'm sorry I'm a fellow UA-camr so I'd never leave a negative comment on anyone's video. NEVER!

He is just so freaking adorable.
The blanket hack is so good!
Thank you, it’s been life changing for me 😄
Omg that blanket hack is genius. Makes me wish my baby was still in a bucket seat so I could try it!
I use the blanket trick with our stroller seat as well!

Great idea!
I thought you painted the wall green yourself. On camera it looks very nice and in tune to your other furnishings and decor. That was interesting!

That’s awesome!
omg the clip of him sitting was so cuuute!!
We wash our baby in the shower as well. But usually sitting down in the shower, then we don't have to worry about dropping her.
Oooo that’s smart
I’ve got a baby shower glove, it’s for extra grip. My baby isn’t born yet but my brother and friend love it!
These hacks are genius!
Ooh the pacifier clip for toys is a good one girl! 🙌🏻
I love ‘hack’ videos!!! Thanks!

Thank you! I will do that
This is awesome!! Thank you!
Yeayyy! Love your content! Could you make one on not using pacifier, I'll love not to use it!! And also on sleep training 🙏🏻
I don’t think there’s much to say about not using a pacifier, we just don’t use it! And I have a video on newborn sleep! embersash.com/motherhood
Also many kids dont even take it..dont want it..mostly breastfeeding babies...idk why

@@AshleyEmbers thanks
Thank you for your videos! I watch them all! I’m due in July so I’ve been binge watching! I wanted to ask for your opinions on cloth diapering?
Thank you! I think that cloth diapers are fantastic, just not for us at this time
My husband showers with our baby and my husband just keeps his shirt on so baby isn’t sliding away.
That’s such a good idea!
Where do you get his clothes?

Put coconut oil on his scalp. Just a bit. Rub it in his scalp well.
Fantastic 😍💋 💝💖♥️❤️
