The 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse in this reality is original Wolverine as War, original Xorn as Death, a hybrid clone of Polaris and Emma Frost as Pestilence and Cypher who created a symbiotic bond with Krakoa as Famine. Just to clarify some things.
I love it! I love how Hickman has created a form of time travel that requires a person/mutant instead of a machine. Also showing what many of us knew that if Magneto and Professor X worked together, the mutant race stood a much better chance of surviving.
To be fair Apocalyse is not invincible as he may seems, Jean Grey the heaviest hitter in X-Men and one of the strongest in the whole Marvel series, but she always holds back out of fear. As for the rest of the X-Men none of them really at the cosmic tier which make Apocalypse look invincible. The one really threat probably Rogue, Mimic, Summer who can steal and copy power but then for whatever reason they often unable to use it when they supposed to use it (you know usual plot device). Ah, there is Also Nate Grey and Cable but they got weakened most of the time, or just not there at all.
Dude I got all of the books and I read the details in-between the stories twice because there is so much info and lore that updates you on what's going on and what's the state of the world during set time frame
2:54 "so he just uses his power to take the drive" - Yeah am i missing something here cus HOW did he take that drive exactly? Charles is a telepath and not a telekinetic right so how did that drive just fly towards him?
Actually in the comics Xavier has been shown to posses mild telekinesis, not enough to fight with it but enough for stuff like that, they excluded that from the movies
So a mutant with adaptive powers, incalculable strength, shape shifting, telekinesis, size manipulation, telepathy, self molecular manipulation, super speed, teleportation, insane levels of energy manipulation, high speed regenerative powers, flight, a vast intellect, thousands of years of experience, Celestial knowledge, tech and upgrades got mollywhopped by Nimrod? It's normal for Apocalypse to lose fights. It's what he's always been written to do despite his power set one of the most insane of any Marvel character. However, that's just crazy how strong Nimrod is. Short of abstracts and reality manipulators, Nimrod would have to be one of the strongest beings in existence at that point. But who's to say that Nimrod wouldn't just adapt to them as well. Nimrod's adaptive abilities aren't limited to just mutant powers. Nimrod out power adapted a power adapter. That's just crazy Just once though, can Apocalypse be written like Thanos? He was stopped or "killed" (how do you truly kill an immortal who can change his molecular structure at will) in AoA and every other story that I can think of right now. Yeah Thanos was always stopped too but people at least worry when he shows up. Apocalypse shows up and people just seem to act like he's fodder. Might as well change Apocalypse's name to Worf.
Lol 😂 I told Jonathan Hickman the same thing on Twitter. There's no way apocalypse should have lost. Now he even got killed by Rogue who did it without assistance 🤦♂️
One of the biggest things that Hickman’s House of X and Powers of X has brought to the table is that any X-Men story that has ever been written by Marvel could have taken place in any of the ten lifetimes that Moira lived in. That any interaction where it was strictly mutants interacting with mutants in an X-related title could have happened in any of those timelines. Thus freeing creators from the need of continuity for Marvel’s 80 years to tell an excellent X-Men story. Stories that don’t quite fit the Earth 616 narrative can just be played off as alternate timelines from Moira’s lives. This both breaks and fixes continuity in multiple ways and makes way for some very creative storytelling by anyone who is on a mutant related title. This could explain away how Hickman says only two years have passed since the Morrison told story lines occurred.
I have been a X-men fan since the 1980's as X-Men was the first comic EVER to show a possible timeline where heroes didn't win always and popular & famous mutants were killed...this brought me to the dark side of comics...and I've been there ever since. This storyline has the chance to rival one of the greatest storylines "Days of Futures Past" dare i say even surpass it.I intend to follow this story to it's hopefully dark conclusion...as a long time X-Men fan it's my duty to...
@@abdulrafiqdimmie6134 They've done videos on things that weren't from comics before, I don't see why they couldn't do Powerpuff Girls if they wanted to
@@mewow483 well I can't say I know about the PPG comic, but the Power Rangers have comics. For example, he did a video on the Power Rangers vs. Justice League comic
So Moira (if i am spelling that righr) Goes back in time so to speao when she dies back to her birth, then whenever she dies she enters a new timeline: and her working through several lives to help the mutants is not so much a to save them (from previous lives lived) but rather to eventually lead to a victory in the long run. Wich the other mutants know as well. So when wolverine kills her he knows that it probably wont end well for him, but eventually there will come a timeline when things will work out.
Just a quick info, the wolverine-like mutant is the horseman of war and is actually the real wolverine (James howlett), Xorn is Xorn (these two, along with apocalypse, mother or Moira, and the late Percival, are the only pureblood mutants on Krakoa), The Magneto like man is Pestilence and is a 2nd gen chimera of Lorna Dane and Emma Frost called North, the tree guy is Cypher and Krakoa symbiosis. Cylobel, Percival, Cardinal (Priest), and Rasputin, are sort of henchmen. Cylobel is a deviated Hound and a black brain (meaning her mind is unreadable, perfect for undetectable recon and infiltration) telepath. Both Cardinal and Rasputin are 3rd gen chimeras but Cardinal is the failure one. Then if you continue to read the info panel, you'll see Mother or Akkaba, this is most likely Moira.
I asked this in the other video but no one responded so I'll try again here; are the characters in this story powerful enough to destroy the planet with the flick of their wrist or are they as strong as they are normally portrayed in the shows and movies?
Got damn this and House of X sure are brain twisters...just all the timeline jumping. Not too confusing to follow; one jus realllly has to pay attention and, possibly, re-read a little bit to avoid getting lost. Really loved it all tho, great stories!

X-men is so complex
Jumping back and forth between times
Gave me brain damage
Rohit Dugar that's why I love this

I had a headache from tryna figure out both stories to being simple

It took Nimrod hundreds of years to beat Apocalypse. In Earlier panels it shows the Avengers dead on the ground and Apocalypse destroying Nimrod.
As a lifelong fan of the X-men, 44 years, I think this is an amazing story and have a lot of hope for the future of X titles!
'You are no Closer than the Babylonians, with their swords and fire sticks, HaHa" That quote matters more now that ever.
These two stories sound awsome, can't wait for the series to be completed so i can buy the paperback.
I actually haven't heard of such a good X-men story in a long time. I'm beyond impressed and I hope that this trend continues
Should I be afraid that I don't see any ad's?
Yes lol
Why?
@@vSilentangel no ads means no money.
There 2 mid roll and 1 at the end
"we'll call him 'groot'?" That was Krakoa. Didn't you read the things you told us to read?
also it's kinda obvious that it was the avatar of the big plant they were living in, so no reason to call it groot.
That’s not groot.... krakoa and the guy that was helping Learn his language merged
its the Krakoa/Cypher Hybrid.

It's Krakoa. It said so in the book.
Dude, you have talent for bringing all this to life, thanks Bro!!!!!!! I always liked this chanel and always will!!!!
Is it just me, or does it seem like the new Charles Xavier is like Reed Richards when he became The Maker?
The green Magneto look alike is a chimera based on Polaris X gene and the groot look alike is a merger between Cypher and Krakoa.
Great video my homie!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I looooove them! But, it so much damn craziness and information!
Unbelievably Great! Been reading X-men since Uncanny #200 and this is so refreshingly new and original
