good job on the truck I really like it I would like to build one like that would you mind telling me what type of camshaft and stall converter you were using
Haha, just checking out some of your old footage of this beast and noticed your Harbor freight boost gauge. I've actually been running the same gauge without a problem on my turbo fox for @6 years. Love your stuff, just thought that was funny and I hadn't noticed it before.
***** Let it eat. Once on the lsx platform a new engine is a few hundred away. No A4 or R302 block. You can replace engines for less than most pay for a set of heads!
Sorry for bringing up an old ass video but, I was wondering what tick performance turbo cam you were using in this build and how did going from twins to a single make the truck feel?
He said in his Q&A's that twin turbo's is twice the plumbing, turbo cost, and wastegates. Twice the headache when trouble shooting as well. watching the videos he makes more power with his single turbo.
I prefer manual vehicles. But I understand the use to automatic. But having a completely built automatic truck sounds scary as fuck. I’ve never seen something like this. Bad ass
honestly i never look at oil pressure on any of my cars, and i dont know whats normal and whats not, and im unsure how accurate this gauge is lol. i figure if it has no oil pressure it will knock like a bitch and if oil pressure is ok, it will keep screaming out burnouts.
izzy's truck is 4wd and it is a 1500...so much lighter and alot more traction and his motor is built internally so take all that into factor you have a 1000+ hp awd silverado vs rwd 670 hp rwd 2500
Dang nice. You running Meth and or head studs? I'm running a 5.3 heads and track 220 cam. KB racing kit with a 76mm turbo 14 psi put down 600/656 on 12.5 lbs. But I'm limited to 91 Oct and don't have head studs so I'm not wanting to goof nothing up. I fallow a lot of your guys builds tho good stuff!
That rolling burn out. . . . I could watch that all day. I can't tell you how many people I've forwarded that video to alone @MattHappel
This truck was bad ass haha. Watching the speedo jump is a riot
Holy crap! How'd I miss this truck... how much boost?

That is one wicked truck.
Wow! That thing was friggin haulin'!...
The best part other than the abuse is the odometer reading. A testament to junk goodness.

Hey Matt, @ 6,000 rpm I don't see the oil pressure much over 40 psi. Is that normal on that particular motor?
honestly i never look at oil pressure on any of my cars, and i dont know whats normal and whats not, and im unsure how accurate this gauge is lol. i figure if it has no oil pressure it will knock like a bitch and if oil pressure is ok, it will keep screaming out burnouts.
Is there such a thing as a 2500 non-HD in this generation?
kevin9c1 yes.
Love it
And is that Ocean City at1:22

izzy's truck is 4wd and it is a 1500...so much lighter and alot more traction and his motor is built internally so take all that into factor you have a 1000+ hp awd silverado vs rwd 670 hp rwd 2500
