I fought this rule hard with my trusty can of rustolium, the end result is, I now own a complete line of hydrographics spray paints, This was a costly mistake, You must use hydro paint for sure, Thanks again Bryan for all the info,
Can you do a video or tips on dipping glass like wine glasses or candle vessels? Most paint is a solid color which affects the light transmission in some cases. I understand the pattern would look different bur can you clear coat glass and then dip it to promote better adhesion? Thanks!
I saw that there a two components of activator on the market. A and B... Would it be possible to use only A or B and no mix of both? I never tried hydro dipping before, but this topic interested me a long time. Hope you understand what i mean, because my english skills are terrible 😅 Kindl regards from upper austria 👋
Would I able to just sand down for example a ps5 controller then dip it with my own design and will it stick without a base coat? Is their a clear base coat I can use so I don't have to color my controller ? Thank u for your videos
I know if I'm spraying to metal, it would have to be like you said in another video an epoxy primer spray to adhere to the metal, then I guess the base colour of choice. Then the dip. I'm trying to gather all this lol. Correct me if not. I need the knowledge.
How do you know what base coat from what retailer is the right one? Can you use any automotive spraypaint as a base coat? Or does it have to be a special kind of paint for the film to stick?
I can't speak for other retailers, but below each film on our website is a recommended base color. We also sell the paints .www.liquidconcepts.com/shop/product-group/paint/solids
For example. Am I able to go on ebay and buy a white/grey/red/blue, etc, for a base on a specific film I'm using?. Or would I have to get the base from a hydroshop?
hope everything fine with you. love your videos can i ask what kind of paint your using? i noticed that you only say this is the correct paint and this is not. is this something you can share? best regards from Portugal

Yes, we do. Look below the blue pricing table box. The recommended color is there.
