Those spray can skills 😍 So happy you decided to do it yourself rather than shipping it out. Video came out great love! ❤️ I’m sure this will definitely help anyone trying to do their own dip

You can see your technique improving with each try.
Appreciate you taking the time to explain things and showing mistakes that all us first timer's would've made.
Im dipping similar parts in carbon and this just what I was looking for.

Well done! So what brand of aerosol clear coat did you utilize? Did you have to sand after clear coating?
    Again great job.
    Thanks for the knowledge

Hi, thanks for the video, I'm just about to do my first dip, I've been putting it off for the past few months, bought a complete starter's kit, so glad I found your video, thank you again, nice to find someone taking the time to explain things, best wishes to you and your family. Much love from Wales ❤️

If i sand it down to the plastic itself with like 100grid paper... Which i unfortunatly already did, can i still see the small scrapes after all the work? Even after that thick layer of clear coat? Hopefully not... What do you think?

Watching your videos has helped me tremendously with tackling my own projects. I did want to ask though was it hard to take the door panel appliqués off? I updated my tradesman plastic door panels to the vinyl style and I have those same door trim pieces that I’d like to paint. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Awesome videos!

I painted my dash in high school and it turned out very good but on hot days my car smelled like paint. Was hoping to use this method on my Audi until I realized you still need to paint. So my question is wtf is the point in dipping it if you’re painting it anyways?

What base coat colour would look best out of black or dark grey for a traditional real carbon look

I see most people use primer then spray a basecoat,so if I use a adhesion promoter I wouldn’t need any primer?

And warm water for 3 5 mins to take film off untill matte then clear

Carbon fibre print is definitely the worst lol. I find it easier to colour the base coat then use the clear carbon film for the pattern. Don’t do black base then black film lol you won’t see it

Nice little job I guess by now you know the tricks lol Like don’t tape all the way round just do little cuts all the way around the film needs to grow and go back
