Red skies in the morning, sailors take warning, red skies at night, sailors delight! My family were all commercial mullet fishermen. Heard that saying all the time growing up lol
Kelly, I don't know if you'll read this, but in winter (Northern hemisphere) the sun is at a lower angle in the sky since the Earth is tilted - so the sky will regularly appear more red/orange because you're only getting longwave light. This is especially prevalent in the morning or at sunset because the sun is already at a low angle. So winter+sunrise or winter+sunset will yield very orange/red skies. This phenomenon increases intensity as you move Northward from the equator! The proper term is "Solar declination!" I research this stuff for a living!

Kelly, I was so happy to see you posted a new video, thank the Lord that y’all are all safe after that nasty storm… This year I decided to spend all winter her in Florida with family, because come the end of March I have to be back home in Pennsylvania to start my other chemotherapy treatments and radiation treatments… One things for sure, I love seeing that you’re living your best life, that makes me happy and I like seeing you have a very special friend in Zach and hopefully a travel partner and or partner… You definitely deserve the best that life has to offer… Conch eat the same thing that lobster 🦞 and shrimp 🦐 eat… And btw, Zach has a nice singing voice… And as always sending you lots of love and blessings From Pennsylvania well right now Florida… ♥️🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼

Conches are a Sea snail, they feed primarily on plant and algal matter.
Funny fact. They found Boron makes VERY good fishing rods. Then they figured out it also makes a fabulous lightning rod. Kinda put the stops to that idea. lol

I can tell you of other youtubers who do sailing, but you can find that on your own. Sailing La Vagabonde comes to mind, and I have subbed to them for a long time. I hope I am not breaking some channels. I like all fishing channels.

First rule for sailing... You must be able to sing at least 5 Sea Chanteys.
Catamarans take more space in the marina but don’t need as deep water. My understanding is that they are therefore suited well to the Caribbean as the marinas are better set up for them and the water is in general shallower - giving you access to more places. Agree with other comments about reaching out to Bobby on sailing doodles. If you can get past the current clickbait genre there is a lot of good information there.
He’s in your part of the world at the moment (latest post from Bimini) and has discussed the choice between catamarans and monohulls quite a bit on his channel in recent years. Plus he is a dog lover.

It is caused by the leading clouds of a storm being off to the EAST of you ! " Red Sky at night, Saylor's delight " describes those leading edge clouds are off to the West of you and you are clear of any storms for the time being ! It has NOTHING to do with ( Solar Declination ) ! 😂 tomw2003 is misleading you ! I heard Cobia is really good tasting fish ? I tried to catch one when I was in school in Orlando, FL ! I went sailing in a pretty large sailboat with the boy scouts in Lake Huron, it was very rough seas, everyone on the boat got sick except the captain and myself. I think you want to do some research on what type / brand of sailboat is right for salt water, less maintenance is a consideration, how about the cost of harbor docking, or are you going to trailer it to the water ?
Not sure! Just an idea. Might do some more traveling first before locking down on a sailboat

Conch are primarily herbivorous but some are carnivorous. Feeding on plants, algae, and other animals. Just about anything as they are opportunists!
