- My friend Gary and I start out our day at Disney Springs with an amazing lunch at Jaleo before going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom!

By staying at Port Orleans Riverside (or French Quarter), we're able to take a water shuttle direct to Disney Springs! We get dropped off at the Marketplace and choose to take the internal boat shuttle over to West Side (near Cirque Du Soleil and AMC Cinema). There we enjoy a fabulous lunch at Jaleo, utilising the Magical Dining offer by Visit Orlando.
Magical Dining is where-by a number of Orlando based restaurants (some of which are on Disney property), take part in offering three courses for $35. Magical Dining is an annual offer normally open in early autumn/fall. For more information about this offer and whether it's on during your next stay, check out the Visit Orlando website for the most up-to-date information.
Once at Magic Kingdom, we check into Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party 2019! Tickets for the party are available in advance and on the night (as long as it's not sold out). Tickets can be purchased online or by visiting a guest services or ticket centre on Disney property. Prices vary by night but tend to range from about $80-120 per person. We saved $10 per ticket with my annual pass discount.
Whilst at the party, we enjoy a spot of Trick or Treating, watch the second Boo To You Halloween Parade, see the new Spooky Spectacular Fireworks show, the Hocus Pocus castle stage show and we even meet Lotso in Tomorrowland.
On top of the halloween fun, we ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Peter Pan's Flight, Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain and we walk through Monsters Inc Laugh Floor which was converted into a Trick or Treat trail for the party.
We also dine at Plaza Inn restaurant on Main Street USA and after the party, we treat our selves to a Minnie Van back to Port Orleans Riverside. Minnie Van is a service run by Disney but hosted on the Lyft App. The price of our Minnie Van was $31 and we tipped about $5 via the app after the trip. Whilst pricey, we thought it was a value for money experience from Magic Kingdom to our resort for sure. I don't think it'd be worth it from somewhere like Animal Kingdom to Animal Kingdom Lodge or Epcot to Magic Kingdom, simply because it's far too expensive for such a short journey where free alternatives are available.

One thing I absolutely love about your vlogs with Gary is how obvious it is that you both genuinely enjoy traveling together and being in Disney together. It can be difficult to find friends you travel well with and get along with. Both of you make such an entertaining and wholesome duo! ♥️

I frequently stroll through all the previous vlogs, just when I'm needing a boost in happy hormones and I have only just spotted, at 16;43, Gary, @garyc, opens his mouth at exactly the moment a boat revs its engine. It genuinely looks like he made that noise, cracked me up lol

I’m watching this for the umpteenth time and I started laughing because the ferry whistle scares Adam in several different series. I’d just watched a different series the other day and the whistle kept interrupting the vlog. Love these

I am a CPST in the Orlando area and can tell you that all Minnie Van drivers are CPST's so all child restrains will be installed correctly and if you have issues or questions regarding your child in the seats they are certified to help :)

I had such flashbacks when you were stuck on Buzz Lightyear. We were stuck on that for 45 minutes and they never turned off the noise or the music and we were at the end where it's BLARING and I don't think I can ride it ever again.

That space mountain segment had me properly snort laughing!! And I loved the contrast of you ogling Flynn Ryder and Gary is happily bopping along to the parade behind you. This has been a great series of vlogs so far and I've still got 1 to catch up on!!
I also ate at the Plaza Restaurant (and ordered the same thing) at 6:30pm before MNSSHP and I regret the timing. Considering all the time it takes to order food, be served and eventually pay the check, It cuts into the party time. Even though it's not a lot of time, when you are visiting the parks for only a few days, every minute counts, especially for a special ticket event. So I wished I had had an earlier reservation time.
My favorite bit was Space Mountain!

10/10 We haven't watched many Disney Vlogs since we visited in June, but I'm glad we watched this one. We have had a tough time the past few months. We all watched it on the TV and laughed so much! My 8yr old daughter laughed when Gary met Mikey and said "they're the same shape". lol! Sorry Gary.

Every time were in wdw we head to the xmas shop in Disney springs, this year we got more xmas decorations for the tree , which are still wrapped up until the wife puts the tree up in the next couple of weeks. Yes, its definitely a Disney xmas tree !!!
