    So I know old video but that bike is so beautiful! Some real inspiring parts there. I just bought my first ever bike a 2013 dyna super glide anniversary and my head is spinning with the possibilities. Not sure if I should just leave it alone since it is a so called "collectors edition". I love those RSD wheels and want them so badly. Its nice to actually see them on a bike.

    There is ONE thing....just one thing that woulda completed this build (imo), is to have the Harley badge/emblem/decal in Red. Being red would have made it blend just (to me) that one extra touch. Though it would have been a bitch to do if done right. Other than that, you now have a custom Bob with virtually plug and play mods with minimal cost. This is the epitome of perfect marketing for J&P, and goes to show anyone can mod his or her ride (metric, Harley or full custom) with their (J&P) accessories, etc... Hell, J&P even have the perfect spokesman right there. Oh, and dude, sell me that bike :)

    I would like to put those Arlen Ness turn signals on my 2014 FXD Street Bob but I have a question....The original lights are running lights, stop lights and turn signals in one, are these Ness ones a direct replacement and have the same function?

    1) The RSD wheels come basically ready to slap the periphery rotors and what not on, and slap them on the bike, correct?
    2) With those RSD wheels, what are the tire dimensions you have to go with? or is it all working around stock sizes?
    Thanks in advance.

    • @jpcycles
      @jpcycles  8 років тому

      +Morgan Whitman The wheels are ready to bolt rotors and pulley to. This bike used a stock size set up. If you decide to go with aftermarket wheels, just be sure to ensure to use our fitment guide to ensure you end up with the correct wheel for your ride.

    • @mystmover
      @mystmover 8 років тому

      Good to know! I was just making sure whether or not I need to get a set if different sized tires or if I can use the tires I have on my current spoked (gross) rims. But it sounds like i'll be able to purchase, plug and play. Thanks for the info guys! Expect a purchase in the near to mid-term... Gotta get the wallet to agree to the price and all.

    • @jpcycles

      For these I did not but honestly every bike kind of responds differently. Some blink really fast, some don't work at all and some are fine.

    i like the supper radius exhaust not too many people run those. how do the sound and compare to 2 into 1 exhaust

    • @jpcycles
      @jpcycles  8 років тому +1

      You really need to hear them for yourself. They are deep and the sound reflects off of the ground which makes it sound mean. It is a good exhaust, but will not make the torque or HP of a good 2 into 1.

      LedSled 858 it's a 3 wire light but harley stock for these setups are 4 wire. To get it to work as run-turn-brake all at the same time you will need the Namz Module light intensifier so you can couple two functions to one of those single wire.

      Nah you'd be right . Im 6'4 nearly 6'5 & 110kg , rode my brothers street Bob with mid controls, wasn't too bad . Good for wheelies . Long rides I'd prefer my heritage with forward cotrols on it , mind you they're 4" over arlen ness as standard forwards didn't feel right with legs this long . But for a bar hopper mid's are fine .

    Have fun with that plastic cam chain tensioner.

    • @paradigmstorytime
      @paradigmstorytime 8 років тому

      +Daniel Galli 2014 model, they stopped using plastic 8 years before this model was made all the way back in 2006. They now uses much longer lasting nylon tensioner shoe, not as much force on the tensioner, and a longer lasting chain that doesn't stretch as much. The new system won't even begin to be an issue till at least 50,000 miles., if you can afford a Harley, but not a basic set of wrenches and access to the internet, there's something wrong with your finances. It's only a problem with these models if you neglect to check them. It's no more a problem than an oil change, it's only a problem if you let it be.

    • @dangalli1
      @dangalli1 8 років тому

      +Paradigm Storytime Ummm yea, and you'll just sell it before that 50,000 mile mark, leaving the problem for the next person...

    • @paradigmstorytime
      @paradigmstorytime 8 років тому +1

      Daniel Galli No, I'd check and replace it. Like any reasonable person. If you think that the cam chain tensioner is a problem you probably shouldn't own a bike because it means you'll treat it like shit and not maintain it.

    • @dangalli1
      @dangalli1 8 років тому

      The cam chain tensioner is a major flaw in the Harley Davidson twin cam engine. Nylon or plastic. I could own a Harley Davidson, but I choose not to. EVO maybe might be considered, but I'll stick with my second gen '13 Yamaha VMAX and my '06 Yamaha Stratoliner.... have a good day sir...

    • @paradigmstorytime
      @paradigmstorytime 8 років тому +3

      Daniel Galli Careful with that V-max, there are a couple, as you would say, "Major flaws" with that engine, like the valves. They need to be adjusted every 30,000 miles. Also there is a flaw in the oil system, making you have to change the oil every 4,000 miles.
      I should also mention, that the 2nd generation v-max, uses the same type of cam tensioner as the pre 2006 dyna.

    • @jpcycles
