The floor looks amazing!
My wife and I used the Rustoleum Epoxy (Grey) on our garage floor, and our floor looks amazing, too!

Not cuz y'all were worried bout it or anything :P but my husband used to be a brand snob and only bought Milwaukee 'til I told him this and we LOVE our Hart shop vac now.
How cool ... so many turtles...I loved my turtles, when I was still at home with my parents we had 2 of these ones you worked with and 1 big one. The little ones where no the kind that lives in the water as well and the big one was my loving “horse” ...kkk... I used to ride him in our large area...we even had the birth of baby ones. You won’t believe how many eggs there were...they dig the ground, have the eggs and cover them with the sand. When they are ready they come out and start walking around everywhere. My friends loved when I gave them some....and of course wonderful look with the final floor all covered. And that color and look is wonderful, but also easy cleaning ...specially in your warm weather it is a fresh feeling in the summer😊
By far the best instructional video team I have seen. You complement one another in your instructional style. After watching two of your dry pour videos I will attempt a 9X12 porch in the near future. J. Baudier

That looks really good. I want to paint my carport and clear it with Rustoleum paint so this is a brand I've used for decades & I trust it will give me what I want.
REPLACE THOSE TURTLES - I hope!

cover that dark epoxy floor with rugs as a part time fix then do this next room? another reason why drop sheets to cover up while doing sheet rocking and painting. when you finish you can do a second one as an investment knowing it will take less than half the time with all the thinking, research and weighing up issues already performed here. great knowledge from experiences, failures and lessons learnt from successes and trials of options.

How about... Captain Crocs-n-Socks?? 🤣🤣 has a good ring to it I think. LOL. Back in the day, I would have said that new flooring looks "Much more gooder" than the other brown color.. Today, Im just going to say I love it!! The new hoodis.... hey.. ya gotta do what ya gotta do.. It worked out and you didnt have to go four wheel drive on the indoor crocs to get across. You know of the saying of "there's a app for that" ...well in Capitan Croc book 'there is a hootis for that' lol..... But it came out looking sweet! And yes there was the great escape attempt.... But he or she was relocated to a bigger area. Nicd save on the little fishes....😅

My cat walked white paint on my floor and l sealed over the little paw prints 🐾 l'm so glad l did, he lived 18yrs and l smile whenever l see them.

Y'all just make me smile!😊 If I may, I would like to suggest that when y'all go to see paint all the sheetrock, get yourself a 18" roller and pan. It will be so much easier on you. So far, everything is looking great! Y'all should be proud of yourselves! I'm still smiling 😁. Stay happy!
Interesting. I had a professional painter paint 40,000 sq ft space with either 6 or 8 inch foam rollers w 2" diameter. He claimed the job went better due to the lighter weight of the roller. My project turned out great.

Great Video. Have to keep adding Hootis to the museum. The Epoxy in a pinch and next hootis to invent is a 5 minuet epoxy shaker.
If I could find someone who makes miniatures I would pay then for the Hootis Wall of Fame. They could make some little ones of them.
Enjoyed the video as always! Redear pond turtles are an invasive foreign species. They're also territorial but travel to nearby ponds, and memorize a pretty large area. If not relocated far away, they'll come back.

Jim, you have some of the most unique hootis tools that I have ever seen... WOW!!! I'd call that a turtle invasion right there, oh my. Let them wash down stream into someone else's pond. I hope it doesn't peel down the road for you guys but I don't know about sealing it first because they say epoxy is a mechanical bond,thus the reason they want you to etch it. I am not an expert so hopefully I am wrong lol Good Luck and thanks for posting the video

Hart reminds me to much of Walmart, however I been buying most of my tools from harbor freight tools, when I worked in diesel mechanic shops. I had a coworker that uses hart tools for diesel work. I'm still on the fence for cheap tools, but then again I didn't know hart made carpentry tools as well. I can become open minded to using hart tools and most of my carpentry tools is Ryobi, but overall Ryobi and even harbor freight tools break on me. Thanks for letting me know y'all use hart tools I may start using them as well. Dude in central Alabama

I am so glad that sealing the concrete first gave you the results you wanted Jim and Lydia. And like I mentioned before after your first try with the epoxy, I am sure that the sealer and epoxy will reduce radon gases in your house. I am curious at what you'll do with the dining room floor. It looks good, I used that stuff on my garage floors and it didn’t hold up to vehicle traffic. Hopefully it will with foot traffic
