Great informative video. I have found an issue with direct entry; if I try to input say 446.00625 (PMR), it won't accept it and instead goes to 446.005, even if I have the correct step of 12.5, or even create a custom search with 446.00625 set as the lower limit, it still won't go to that frequency.
I never thought I’d run into a radio I had no idea how to use, it seems no matter how many videos I watch of this radio I still don’t get it, I’ve only had it for a day so I’m sure I’ll get it eventually but man this is a huge jump from a RadioShack pro 197 lol, I’m trying to just add some conventional vhf uhf frequencies on top of what the zip function found because I like that feature. Man it’s difficult lol
Bought one of these. Already feel like getting rid of it. I think my area is not ideal for listening. Still using the boxed antenna. Have purchased a R-881 super gainer scanner antenna, if that doesn't work I'm at a loss, literally. Seems to be catered towards North America too. At the moment, I feel like I've wasted my money.
Actually doing a quick search, changing, modulation and scanning are ok for me. Just nothing around here to listen to. I checked radio reference for local frequencies. Still only getting the broadcast range in and around 95MHz.
Another great video.
Thanks again!

Set 6.25 step
Fantastic 👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!
In discovery conversational:
What's mean "Compare to Datebase"?
All frequencies or only enabled in favored list?
Not sure look here :forums.radioreference.com/threads/discovery-compare-to-database-do-not-work.341958/#post-2658666
Great video - do you find the belt clip on 3600 is very poor and moves around way too much? With the 3500 it locked nicely into position.
It's not great.
Is this any good for shortwave as well? Or do you recommend a dedicated receiver for that?
It does now do HF bands

Roughly how long does the Batts last?, is there an external Plug in Charger? , Dors it recieveve Dect Cordless phones?
All day - cordless phone depends what freq the phone is .
До 7 часов от аккумулятора. Но можно по usb подключить - либо от сети, либо повербанк + сеть.
I was told that once you put your coordinates into the 3600 it would then automatically find everything in the area? is this true?
Maybe the software will I not sure though as there is so many freq sounds to good to be true .
What do they do what are they for
Scan radio frequencies .
Where can I buy a stand for the Uniden UBC 3600 XLT like the one in your video
On ebay
@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones Thank you 🙂
Can you make video about discovery trunk
And how to find trunk ch.
Never used Trunk channels I think one channel is the Home Office the other channels are the satellite channels
Hello mine scans but it doesn't have the little signal bars on the top right.. can you help?
U get them when it receives a signal
@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones so I'm not receiving any signal, so I need a better antenna than the rubber duck

It's very hard set to learn .
