I'm listening to this while I drive my cat to her eye doctor. Normally, my cats meow loudly in the car, but not this time, she is so quiet that I pulled over to make sure she's okay. She seems to like your voice. She knows a cat lover!😊
Welcome home Lilibet. Good to hear that you had a nice time in Sydney at your conference and revisiting old haunts, and that your capsule wardrobe worked so well. Ludwig and all your plants are looking so happy. Your sister really has the knack with them, as do you. I am impressed that you have managed to clean, declutter and organise your pantry after coming back from your trip with low energy. Doesn't it feel good to get things back in order! I hope it stays organised for a while for you. You really do have a lovely home, enjoy.
Thanks Rena, Ludwig continues to surprise me with more changes. He's got tiny little flowers sprouting now. I had a few days rest before tackling the pantry and then collapsed a bit after that effort and needed more rest days! It's a bit of a process recovering from a trip. I've found I can't wait to feel fantastic before getting on with things but have to pace. I hope all is well with you and your apartment. 😍
One thing I do is I get the bottom of an oblong tupperware, yes I'm born before 90 lol, and I use it to house my soy sauce oil vinegars honey anything liquid that drips a little even though I try to be careful, in the drawer or cupboard. It keeps them contained and it's easy to just pull out the whole container to clean
Welcome back to Melbourne, Lilibet!!!! Oh my goodness, it's been years since I've visited Sydney! I am so glad you have achieved a sense of closure with this recent trip. It's so important for your health and wellbeing to look forward with positivity and happiness 💝 I am stopping this wonderful video part way because I have a friend visiting and I am determined to do a full-on tidy 😅 I must say, I am enjoying the video so far. I love the relaxed, sorting out the laundry, checking on the plants, review of the travel wardrobe focus! I'll watch the rest this afternoon! It will be my treat because I am back at work tomorrow ☺️
Thanks Grace! I'm pleased you enjoyed the video. The hard work had to come later with the pantry declutter. But it was good to just do a few simple things around home after my trip away. I hope the visit from your friend was enjoyable 😍
@@teawithlilibet Hello Lilibet! Yes, it was so lovely. She commented on how nice the house is looking (months and months of decluttering have allowed the house to breathe once again) 🩷🙏🩷
Sorry to hear you have CF Lillibet, it really plays havoc with the lives of sufferers. Seeing the views of Parramatta was eye opening, my parents used to live near there, I grew up in country NSW and spent a lot of time in Sydney. Re your little apartment is seems to me that the more space we are given the more we try to cram in, you are doing very well. It would probably do all of us good to have to downsize at some point. Stay well.
Thanks Kay! Yes Parramatta was a beautiful surprise. Did you grow up in inland or coastal country NSW? I visited a few lovely places around NSW when I was living in Sydney. The south coast is very lovely too. But of course there is always too much to see. Agree re: space, having less is definitely suiting my lifestyle these days. 😍
What lovely accomodation you had in Sydney. I don't think I've been to Paramatta since the 80s so I know I wouldn't recognise it. I have fibro so understand how daunting and hard it must have been for you travelling alone. Glad it went okay for you. Love that you take such good care of your clothes - it's not something you see very often on youtube. The top pantry drawers are definitely good for surplus stock /supplies. I can't wait till my apartment feels like yours.
@@CharleneEvenson Oh I'm glad to hear that. I try and use common sense when reorganising. And if I get it wrong I can always fix on the next declutter :-)
I’m delighted that Ludwig is not only ok but thriving. You’ve turned your apartment into a sanctuary of peace and cosiness.
Thanks Kaycee! In the last day or so flower spike has started to sprout what looks like actual tiny flowers. I'll try to film it for the next video. 😍
@@teawithlilibetoh wow! Go Ludwig!! 🙌

That's a clever idea Alli, thank you 😍
Love your home. I have been to Sydney 2 times. I have relatives there. I love Australia ❤ I am from USA
Thanks Mie. Sydney is a gorgeous city. But it's always good to come home, isn't it?! Where do you live in USA? 😍
Used to live in LosAngeles, now I live in LasVegas.

Hola! I don't speak Spanish so I hope this is right! Estoy tan contenta de que lo hayas disfrutado. 😍

Your pantry looks lovely ❣️
Thank you so much! I'm just loving using it now 😍
Saludos desde Barcelona! Mucha fuerza❤

If it were me, only my opinion, I would put something like light bulbs or things I might need like once a year maybe.
Hi Charlene, do you mean in the pantry high shelves or above the sink cupboard? But yes I agree that seldom used things should go up high 😍
@@teawithlilibet I meant the pantry. I should have watched it to the end before commenting because you did what I was saying.
