Vans used to be great for skating but now it’s all fashion and cheap materials, i have torn through a few pairs,. The fabric is thinner than it used to be. Nikes and Adidas are good but if you like vans style, buy unbranded because they are the same quality these days

Shred through a sock today and drew some blood hitting the ollie. But damn I finally am getting my ollies! The final key was keeping shoulders squared with the knees. Once I truly understood that I started hitting them a lot more regularly. Now I just need to get my pop right and get some air.

I used to use the shoe goo back in the days on my old skate rags trainers. Awesome product. The amount of skate shoes battered from ollies and solid skateboarding. etc. Good times.

This stuff is basically a more flexible version of e600, so you are going to want to apply the glue in a well ventilated area. I've never thought of using the ice trick, though.
When you're old and retired, you need to make shoes last longer, too.
It looks like it would work on my old Brooks walking shoes.

I always apply this inside my shoe to prevent holes. Works the same.

I’ve always had black for the black suede of my shoes and then clear for the rubber around the kick flip point. Doesn’t look bad at all. My shoes last me over a year, have had Nyjah 2s for 2 years now. This stuff is amazing

i love your vids man i just bought a tube of shoe goo off of lazada a week ago and my shoes started to get ripped up and i didnt know how to put the shoe goo on and i found the vid and it helped me out alot and i just placed some shoe goo on my vans and now im just gonna wait a day to use them

I just use super glue. Lasts longer but the glue gets slippery, while the shoe goo is more grippy.
Super glue with a thin top layer of shoe goo might help with grip
it can also be used to repair camelbak bladders when they get punctured, and the repairs will last forever.

I have a pair of Air Speed shoes from several years ago and I love the shoes, but I have a hole in the bottom toe area on one of the shoes so I'm thinking about trying the Shoe Goo out. I just love the shoes I'm using and don't want to get rid of them.

I put the first layer on then i wait one hour for to dry and spread it evenly with a spoon or butter knive then i put a second layer on it drys up within 12 hours and u should be ready to skate them at the 24 hour mark

Guys, have u tried 2 glue 2 pieces 2gether w/it? How long to press pieces 2gether to make it stick? Do I need 2 wait some time b4 pressing pieces? I need to glue back the outsole to the midsole.

dollar store fix-all adhesive is the exact same as shoe goo. (its from the original super-glue company)

Yes it toxic and I would avoid getting it on your hands, use disposable gloves and an ice cube, don’t use your finger!
So I have the problem that my Vans rip very quickly on the spots where my big toes are. You think I could prevent that by putting shoe goo on the inside of my vans where my big toes hit the shoes? Or would it then make stains on the outside of the shoes like water or oil would?
Shoe goo is intended for the outside of shoes to prevent wear. It would be very uncomfortable if applied on the inside of a shoe.

I’m a little late but are you skating normal vans? There’s a difference between normal vans and vans pros and vans pros are made for skateboarding and last a lot longer than normal vans.

We suggest Duct tape on the inside of the hole.

Haven't tried it. I imagine superglue being much more difficult to manage.

@@SkateWarehouse I still use clear boot polish. As I don't like the grippy feel. I only started skating in non cuped shoes. I got 3 pairs of hemp shoes that I can't use clear boot polish. But I could put a bit on the foxtape too make it slip more.
I just find shoegoo messy.
But I'll say it's best to add it first on a new shoe.
